I'm joining trent in Jan'25, so my deadline for applying is Nov 17. If anyone has received trent's prestigious scholarships, please share any suggestions or tips I should keep in mind and if u have any idea about how many students actually get the scholarship.

hi im thinking of apply to trents BA in psych and one of my biggest concerns is networking, internship and co-op opportunities. i understand that the psych co-op program is very new but in concern to the types of professors, do most have their own research projects and are actively involved within the field or is it more sessional profs?

To anyone who took COIS-2300, how difficult is the midterm exam? It's online, so that gives me hope that it's not going to be that bad, but I still want to make sure.

Have my first nurisng exam next Monday. Nursing as a profession.

I've recently been toying with the idea of making meals for students. I understand how hard it is to get a quality home cooked meal, especially on a budget.

If someone were to make a large amount of food 1-2 times a week, selling each meal for a reasonable price. Would that be something students would be interested in?

Hi, i’m a grade 12 student interested in going to Trent for their dual bachelor of arts and sciences program (for veterinary school). The reason i’m interested in the program is because it broadens my experience in the medical field, which I think would help me in veterinary school. So my question is would the program be worth and is it really any good? (what would you recommend as an undergrad for veterinary school for someone who isn’t the best in math and sciences)

Is the dual program with the uk worth it? (The law and the med one) and did the 25k tuition fee for when you're in the Uk cover the residency or was that a seperate situation entirely? Thanks!

Hello, I'm a high school student who is in grade twelve. With a 90 average, and it being my last year I've been looking into universities I should apply to and came across Trent. It was then I saw the law program where you go to Trent for two years, the UK for 3, and then back to Trent for one more year and thought it was super appealing. However, I couldn't find anything in regards to people who've actually taken the course and if they were able to find work afterwards. I also thought it may be more difficult to find a job, because you would've studied in a different country rather than Canada for law. I was hoping someone here could help shed some light on that! If you meet a TrentU Muslim she 99% wears makeup while it’s totally haraam by all scholars. She wears perfume u can smell from a mile away. She wears jewelry, she wears tight clothes and shows off her body. (Yoga pants), she wears t shirts that show her figure. She listens to music, etc.

All in all, I don’t know what’s up with this uni or is this just how “Canadian Muslims” are. Coming from Islamic country it’s shocking.

For those sisters who are still following Islam and not just throwing on a hijab in the morning and calling it a day may Allah bless you, its very hard to do in this day and age. Anyone agree or atleast see where im coming from? the Quran and hadith are quite clear!!

Hi, I’m a grade 12 student currently trying to decide on a university. I am currently looking at Trent’s mathematics program as my end goal is teaching high school math.

I already toured Trent and really like the campus. Plus, I only live about a 45 minute drive from the Peterborough campus.

Idk if it matters, but my 4U courses are English, Writer’s Craft, Families in Canada, Challenge and Change, Canadian and International Law, Mathematics and Data Management, Advanced Functions, and Calculus and Vectors. I already completely English and Law with a 98% and 92% respectively. Also, I’m expecting my top six average to be about 92%.

I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with the mathematics program or had any other information about Trent that might help me decide. Thanks!

how is supply chain management for international students and what’s the scope after graduating

I originally started computer science in 2019, but a combination of pandemic-related problems compounded with just the general difficulty of the program resulted in me switching majors to economics. I will likely need to stay for an additional year after completing this one. I can’t say I really have any friends on campus. Any ideas how I can change that?

Hi folks - looking to go back to school and unfortunately Trent is the only university in Ontario that offers to-a-tee the program I’m interested in (sustainable agriculture and food systems, art stream). I have no interest in moving as this would jeopardize my partners employment, but I’m also planning on only working part time, and commuting. How much of a kick in the ass would it be to take go transit a couple times a week?

I’ve been sick with quite the bad fever the last couple of days, and not sure when it’s gonna get better. I haven’t been able to study much at all yet. Can I ask to write my midterm exams at a later date?

I'm looking at going to Trent for Economics (I'm gonna apply to both the BA and BS) is it very competitive? I have around a lowish 80s average+ decent after school activities, do I have a good chance of getting into at least one of the Economics programs?
