Hi
I am a student at trent and have been here for 2 years now. I’m struggling financially and to make ends meet until I land a job, I am offering to do student assignments and projects for a nominal fees, if anyone choses to get this done.
Hope this doesn’t offend anyone. Please let know if you would like to get any assignments done, I have good grades myself in each semester 80% plus.
Thanks in advance.
Like the library or study rooms ?
Am I supposed to register for classes before I'm approved for OSAP or should I wait for OSAP first?
Has anybody ever submitted a claim for eye wear or lenses to blue cross. Did you get reimbursed?
Hi guys I just got accepted to the bachelor of kinesiology program at Trent, just wondering if anyone thinks Trent is a good pre med major school if yes why and if no why not
I have a Samsung phone, and downloaded the Gmail app. I keep trying to add my trent account and it's not working. I also tried adding it on the regular outlook Microsoft hotmail app and it wasn't working as well.
I’m thinking of changing my degree from an honours degree to a general one and i was wondering if you can change it during the year or if you would have to wait until the end of the year to change it
So in my program they required me to take a math class so i'm taking applied calc. and I was wondering whether I still needed a 60% if its not a prerequisite for any of my other classes, its just a required course for my program. Does anyone know anything about that? I know were allowed a 50% in general but I believe that's for electives and this class is not an elective.

I got accepted into the teacher ed stream with a major in chemical physics!!
My daughter just registered for this for second semester and it seems odd that it only has one lecture for an hour listed on Tuesday and no other days and times. It doesn’t mention any online meets. Has anyone taken this course in the past?
Hey guys! I have just changed my course load from 4 to 2 courses for next term. (2 credits to 1). I was wondering what I have to do to notify OSAP about this change. The OSAP site has been down for maintenance for the past few days it seems (at least on my end). So I can’t get in and change it there. Is there another option to notify them?
With the second term fast approaching I really need to notify them about this ASAP. Though it will not affect my enrolment (full-time vs. part-time) as I will still be considered full-time when taking two courses. As well, will this affect the Disability Verification Form application?
For those who have either needed to retake the course for whatever reason or just happened to start in the winter where only 1051 is available, is the course offered in the summer?
Just wanna cover all my bases in case the bellringer exam ends up screwing me over (the labs on this course also happen to be my weakest stuff), so i wanna know if I don’t get the grade I want in the course (i need a minimum of 70), is a summer option usually available? or would i have to wait till the fall again?
Today it rained and got me thinking is there really no place on the entire campus that's outdoors and has shade??? I love the weather outside, it's too hot indoors, I wanna just sit out and study but all seats are wet, is there no place outdoors with seats and shade?
(Smoke shacks don't count 🙄)
Hey everyone. I'm in grade 12 right now and I got an early admission/acceptance at Trent for Biology, Life Sciences, and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, and I'm strongly considering going through with it. So I just wanted to ask, what should I expect going into Trent?
Hey guys, throw away acc. I’m having a really tough time in this course. I’m a second year business student at Trent and statistics for economics is kicking me down. We had two mid terms and I failed both of them, after the first mid term the prof completely changed the weighting of the mid terms, assignments, and finals because of how bad they were and then the prof completely changed the lectures after how bad the second mid term was with less then a month of classes to go. I’m just looking for some advice, this is the only class I’m having a tough time in right now and have 70s and 80s in all my other ones. If I drop it now before the sem is over and retake it next summer will the new mark show up instead of the old one? I see academic advising next Monday but I am going to call tomorrow at 8:50 and see if I can get a same day appointment. Or do I just tough it out and power through until the end? It’s been an awful day overall and this was just the cherry on top.
Was the lectures enough or was he serious about needing to know all the readings
I am currently getting a 50.6 on a required course for major and i dont know if i need to retake it or if ill be kicked out of the major or something. i have no clue what so ever, i see people talking about just failing courses in general on this sub but im concerned about the required ones for my major.
so can i just retake it whenever i can, like in the summer or second year? and if i fail it is it bad for my future GPA etc?
im still trying to get my grade up but considering that all i have left is my final exam and this essay that is due soon, not sure how likley my grade is going up.
Hey everyone! I got accepted into the biomedical program and now I'm trying to decide which residence to live in. I could really use some advice. Here's what I'm looking for:
That's it really, is there any residence options you guys would recommend that fit these criteria or am I asking for too much 😭
What was this course like in the Oshawa campus??
Hey, im currently making some changes for my course selection. I was wondering if anyone has taken PSYC 3460 - Sensation&Perception with S. P4quett3 and how was your experience with it?
My alternative is PSYC 3220 - Neuropsychology which will be taught by L. Br0wn. I’ve heard mixed comments about the prof so i am quite conflicted.
Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!
I had finally gotten the time to write down the bursarys I can qualify for and was wondering if there is a limit to how many we can get? And if these bursarys cover my tuition would I get any money left over from any extra bursary's that did not need to pay for my tuition?
I'm just curious what would you guys change about the TCSA to get more students involved whether it's at the Durham campus or the Peterborough one? I'm pretty sure the student voter turn out is very low at the Peterborough one and I didn't even realize the Durham campus had a student union lol
What does “admit early” mean? have i been accepted?
I got an email a few days ago saying that I received money from an opt-out (which I'm assuming is insurance because I did opt out of that). Everything seems to be legit but because of all the phishing emails still going around I'm a little bit weary of it. Did anyone else who opted out of the school insurance get this email? is it real? I feel kind of silly for asking but better safe than sorry I guess
I'm studying business Administration most likely accounting I will now for sure by Jan. When it comes to things like work opportunities for the summer to help me gain experience in my field should I just be looking at the Trent career portal or should I be seeking things out myself?
I was scrolling on tiktok and I saw two uni students ( both did not go to Trent but both in Toronto). One of then was doing a co-op for Sephora which they got through their uni portal and the other one was working at RBC during the summer last year and I would like to do things like that as well but don't know where to start. I an 2nd year thank you
