All things related to suburban tools, techniques, schools of thought, history, etc.
Welcome to r/Trashcraft! The ideology behind self sufficiency and using nature with skill and consideration is useful, in contrast to r/Bushcraft, r/Trashcraft focus is not limited to nature, i.e. its focus is on the knowledge (or survival) in everyday scenarios with everyday tools or modified tools. Essentially while 'bush' related subreddit focus on nature here at r/Trashcraft we somewhat focus within one of the scariest environments in the world which is sometimes neglected - urban and suburban environments.
If you find yourself in a suburban neighbourhood and you need to keep warm and for whatever reason knocking on a door is out of the question, here the focus would not be a bowdrill but maybe start looking for recycling bins.

Used Asthma Inhalers: Ideas?
I have a mounting collection of plastic inhalers, as I use a maintenance medication daily. They're plastic and the medication is in an aluminum aerosol can that detaches from the plastic body. The plastic doesn't have the recycling logo on it. I don't like the idea of just throwing it away.
I already have the floor lamp. I just want to add a table in the middle of it by getting/scrounging something wooden or plastic (and round) I could cut my own hole in and just slide down the lamp's pole and brace from underneath.
Basically like this type of floor lamp.
Looking for ideas on something cheap or I could find for free that fits the bill for the round table part.
Need your ideas. Things I've come up with are trays (wooden or plastic), stool tops, cutting boards/breadboards etc. etc..
And it doesnt have to be round. Square works too.
