Lactation induction in a transgender woman: case report and recommendations for clinical practice

Well, I suppose I shall make the first post.

I was previously looking into the idea of inducing lactation and if it was possible, and I had come across anecdotal accounts by individuals who claimed they could produce breast milk, but there was no clear methodology behind it. Recently though I came across this case study (van Amesfoort et al., 2024) which documented the induction of lactation in a single person, but most importantly the methodology is there.
Given that this is a case study, anyone looking do do the same should not consider this to be a step by step guide by any means, but it is an important resource that you can take to your prescribing doctor to assist you.

(Edit: The link didn't stay when I first posted, so I had to edit it in. Probably because I didn't use the link function..)
