Scenario: I’m researching a basic motion activated lighting setup for my partner. They don’t have, need, or want a smart home platform (no HomeKit, Alexa etc), so I’m looking at the Dirigera hub as the solution.
The requirements are:
Can anyone tell me if these requirements can be met with the above products? I searched the sub first but couldn’t find a recent post.
Thank you.
Hello.
I just setup Dirigera, lights and Badring water leak sensor. For testing purposes I tripped the sensor contacts to check if the sensor works. It worked. But now in iOS Home app the water leak banner is shown and there seems to be no way to clear it.
Does anybody know how to clear the leak state of the sensor?
Thanks.
any idea when will ikea re-launch tradfri E14 light bulb with dimmable multiple colors high lumens instead of white spectrum only? recently found it was discontinued either earlier this year or last year.
there's no more stocks in Ikea Singapore and Ikea Malaysia official 🥺 Even carousell Singapore doesn't sell such bulbs anymoree </3
I have some problems understanding when the adaptive lighting is applied. I have set up a lot of lamps (single lamps and group of lamps) with the adaptive lighting setting enabled.
Home Smart App Android 1.36.1, Dirigera Firmware 2.685.0
Hello, as I saw, air sensor reads TVOC numbers.
You must please add the number value to be shown, or at least as an option.
And can you already add the function so we can add widgets to the home screen of our phone?!
Thanks
Yesterday I finally got the 1.36.1 update and tried to find the new options they've talked about before but I cant find them. I have huge banners and ads but no way of activating things like the adaptive light option
In my living room I have 5 smart bulbs and a gateway. I want to disable all lights in the living with a Szene "all off" but that does not work. Some lights are not turning off even tho I set them to off in the Szene.. sometimes Szenes don't change to the correct color and I have to enable the szene multiple times before it works and sometimes it does not work at all... Am I missing something obvious in how szenes work? In my understanding does a Szene just set all the products to the selected state (off or on with options).
I noticed that if I use a high brightness on all bulbs before I activate the "all off" Szene then it works correctly and all lights are turning off.
I'm not sure exactly when it started it kight have been after the most recent December 3rd 2024 update to 1.28.0. But certain lights keep randomly turning on and off often around roughly but not exactly the same time of night.
At least 1 of my tradfri outlets is affected, as well as at least 2 of my floalt panels, and 1 or 2 of the tradfri bulbs.
I gave the old tradfri hub not dirgera. I also have 2 hue bulbs that are still connected to tradfri hub and tradfri remote controls that I haven't transferred over to my hue hub yet but they so far don't seem to be affected.
When it happens it'll be just 1 or 2 at a time.
I have alexa and Google Home connected. But I've seen it happen when all family members phones are sitting in front of me (except for one who lives in a different state who swears it's not her doing). And I've checked the alexa voice recordings and they don't coincide with times a light has turned on/off. I also made sure we don't have any alexa hunches or routines set.
Any ideas? Anything else to check? Is it ghosts? Gremlins?
Thanks for any help.
I bought some Inspelnings to be able to measure my energy output for several devices. I paired them with my Echo 4. Gen. I am able to swich my devices on and off with the Alexa app but i cant find the Energy Dashboard in the app to see how much energy goes out. So now i have some questions:
Where is the Alexa Energy Dashbord (im located in Germany)
Is there a way to see the used Energy without the Ikea bridge and without HA (like in SmartThings)?
Thank you very much
Hello, I’ve bought dirigera hub and all smart lamps from ikea and works well. There are only two light that I can’t change with something ikea have so I need a smart switch WiFi. I choose Meross because works with Apple and have smart thermostat. But moving sensor are shit for me. Work only when attached to usb and don’t have time activation. I need it only at night. So you know something that have good sensor(that works with battery), smart switch, works with Apple and don’t need another hub? My dream it would be a smart switch to add in ikea smart home to use vallhorn sensor. You know any?
Hi all,
I have moved into my new apartment where there was already an ikea Tardfri gateway. There are a couple of bulbs connected to it which all work great.
However I bought a Pilskott lamp and a few tardfri led bulbs and I cannot seem to connect them with the Home smart 1 app. Does it not support it or am I doing something wrong?
Like many I've had my FYRTUR blinds fail. I purchased over 12 of these in 2020 and 9 are confirmed dead.
I want to try to get them replaced under the 5 year warranty as some have, but I had them cut down to fit all my windows adequately. Has anyone had experience with IKEA replacing just the left side/motor portion of the blind? I'm concerned they'll refuse to exchange them due to having cut the size down
Hey app devs, could you please add the ability to select a sound for the water leak sensor notifications?
Right now, when it detects water, the notification sound is the same as for any other notification, which tbh isn't very noticeable.
I have an old E1743 remote from some years back but the two bulbs that I bought alongside the remote have both recently reached end of life.
I am looking to purchase a couple of the newer revisions (LED2201G8) and was wondering whether my old E1743 remote would still be compatible or do I need to grab a new remote as well?
Thanks
I hope someone has the same problem. As soon as I plug the Dirigera hub into the WiFi router (we have one from Vodafone), the router loses the Internet connection after about 20 minutes. I have already restarted both devices but cannot find the error
Are your products behaving better in the Home app after power cuts? I live in a rural part of Ireland with frequent power cuts, and after a power cut my Hue lights, Meross kit, iSmartGate garage door opener, Eve sensors/outdoorlights/water guard, Heatimser hub and thermostats and Velux hub all come up quickly.
The IKEA Tradfri takes up to 10 mins to get a proper comms established with all of the accessories, and I have to open/close some blinds that are stuck in an 'opening' or 'closing' state to get those to register correctly. In one room, I've 9 GU10s linked together and inevitably one or two of those will show 'no response' and I have to power cycle them a bunch of times to get them to function correctly.
Is the Dirigera better for all that?
I bought a stoftmoln lamp for my wardrobe. Paired it to the old gateway with the old app, no problems - Also shows up in Apple home and works great there.
Then I bought the new Vallhorn sensor. It’s supposed to work with the old gateway, but no idea how to configure it. Basically when I open my wardrobe door, I want to turn on the stoftmoln lamp. But there is no settings to connect these in the old IKEA Home app, so not sure what to do. I have paired it to the old gateway.
It does show up in Apple Home and I can create an automation there but since it seems the sensor doesn’t actually send a signal there it’s useless.
What can I do here?
Hej! Just a quick update from the HQ:
With app version 1.41.0 (iOS) and 1.36.0 (Android), we have released the new feature: Adaptive Lighting. Along with the excitement came some hick-ups, e.g. when opening the app, the hub isn't recognised anymore.
We have released new app versions for iOS and Android containing a hot fix for users who experience DIRIGERA hub going missing (and a fix for INSPELNING). As soon as the app becomes available to you, please update to the new version (iOS 1.41.1/Android 1.36.1).
(Please be patient until the app release is available for you and don't attempt to factory reset the hub.)

Tradfri E27 bulb blinks 3 times when you turn it on, then another 3 times, then is normal. I have had the home hub disconnected for a while, is that all it is or something more interesting?
Got several tradfri lights to use on HA with ZHA gateway (lidl). Zigbee control is effortless although the default names are annoyingly long `IKEA of Sweden JETSTROM 3030 ceiling` and `IKEA of Sweden TRADFRIbulbB22WSglobeopal1055lm`
Anyway, before stretching up to replace the ceiling light, I put the JETSTROM on a plug and tried it out. The default warm white isn't bright at all, the cold white is brighter but leaves the room fairly dark.
Using zigbee controls put the light to 255 brightness and highest colour temperature, but it's still pretty dim.
Is there any way to make this any brighter? It seems that the plastic diffuser isn't great reduces the light output. It has a blocthy look with dark patches.
The colour changing is a bit useless, the coloured light is even dimmer. Anyone else got this light? how does the softmoln compare for brightness? is there and decent traddfri compatible ceiling light?
It’s an e14 bulb. One of 4 in a fixture. Will flick on and off once, every hour or so.
Is this the sign of a dying bulb? Or set up issue?
Hey all!
I've had an Ikea Norrfly light strip for 3-4 years now running through a Tradfri remote, all working perfectly fine. I've just added a whole alexa system and in the process of setting up everything for a smart home (tv's, lights, speakers, etc). I've purchased an Ikea Hub, set it up, all working great. I can connect the Tradfri to the hub/alexa system fine, but then the remote won't work for my Norrfly light strip. And if I pair the remote to the Norrfly light strip, it drops out of my Ikea hub/alexa system.
Can't seem to find anything that tells me if this is even possible or not possible to do...
Anybody have any tips/advice?
Hi. I want to be able to press a Switch and this trigger a scene. In the App I can only assign product to the switch. Any ideas?
Hey guys, just bought some tradfri bulbs and drigera and I'm pretty new to this whole thing.
Is there any way to make the colors cycle automatically? And even so stuff like pulsing and other shit
Having an IKEA smart home is constrain maintenance. Today 6 of my remotes had lost their configuration in the hub. They are still connected.
The trigger might be that I yesterday added a few products, and change the battery on the affected remotes. Not all remotes that got their battery changed was affected.
The system really need more/any debugging features.

Hi there,
I configured a scene to play music on my Symfonisk speaker, but after the app update, this part disappeared from the scene. Now, I can’t choose music to play when trying to add it back—pressing Choose Audio does nothing.

I have an electrician coming on Friday to fix existing GU10 fixtures that aren’t working for some reason. For this he’ll need some bulbs, but all I’ve got are a new batch of Tradfri GU10s. I’ll be out all day, and I won’t be around to set them up as smart bulbs until I’m home late in the evening. Until I can do that, will they operate just as regular dumb GU10s?
Recently I noticed that from time to time, at night time the motion sensor is flashing red when detecting motion. It's integrated using HA.
Any idea why is this happening?
After the newest iOS IKEA app update today, the app forgets the hub every time you close the app. In order to get things up and running again you have the push the button on the drigera hub.. annoying.. anyone else experiencing this issue?
UPDATE -> my wording wasn’t that great. I meant the newest update of the IKEA app since today.
