Bought Dirigera and some tradfri bulbs and after so much trouble due to buggy software I finally got it to work. However I noticed that I cannot control it without WiFi from the control center(yes I enabled control anywhere and it works through the ikea home smart app).
But whenever I try to control it with control center or Siri it says no response. Is it not designed to work in such a way?
Thanks.
I know the switches like Rodret work across the Ikea Matter Bridge in SmartThings but not Google Home ... what else might their be in the partnership? same Thread network?
Do third-party Zigbee devices function as mesh repeaters in a Dirigera setup, or is that limited to IKEA devices? Of course I mean devices powered by the main power in the house, not battery powered devices.
Since updating to another iOS 18 Beta I got No responses in the Apple Home App. I am trying to remove and re-integrate Dirigeira bridge but can’t do it. I first removed the Dirigeira bridge in the Home app. Then when removing the integration, the Ikea Home Smart app gets stuck and the app crashes.
Tried reinstalling the Ikea app and powering on and off the Dirigeira.
What can I do? Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any help!
Hello, I have tried to pair a Tuya smoke detector with the DIRIGERA hub but it seem to detect it as a trådfri motion sensor instead. Has anyone been able to somehow get this to pair as something more closer to what it actually does? Or does it simply not support and need to buy a second hub?
Hello people
I use a Dirigera hub, the IKEA smart home app, Hue bridge because i used it in the past, and (pirmarily) the Apple home app (for turning on off with my iPhone and Siri)
I installed a ZBMINIL2 for the (test)purpose of using a regular lightswitch, while my tradfri bulb stays online after turning it off via the switch. It does not work exactly as intended. The ZBMINIL2 works probably as intended, but I can’t get it to work the way i wanted to.
My light of course stays offline, when the switch turned it off - the switch still being online and able to turn it on via ikea app and home. The problem comes from, I guess, recognizing it as a light, not a switch. IKEA doesn’t seem to have that in their portfolio.
Any way to rewire the (smart)switch hub - work with apples shortcuts and/or use the hue bridge to achieve what I want? Which is light being online at 0% when ZBMINIL2 turns it off?
Thank you!
Hi all,
Has anyone upgraded all their iOS devices to 18 and had problems with Tradfri?
I’ve just updated my iPhone and two Apple TVs to iOS /tvos 18 and now all 35 Tradfri devices are not responding in HomeKit. I’ve tried all the usual power cycling Tradfri hub, each of the Apple TVs/ routers etc…. to no avail…
Has anyone upgraded and actually still got everything working at all? Would be useful to know if it’s just me!
Cheers!
I just bought a new router. The setup process seemed to be going smoothly, all of my devices are able to connect to it. I can even see that my Dirigira hub has connected in the router settings. However, I cannot connect to the hub via the app. I am going crazy trying to figure out why I cannot connect. I know it has to be one of the router settings but I cannot find any information online.
I just installed 3 blinds and dirigera hub, I connected it to Google without any issues. However, I’m annoyed at the lack of functionality in Google Home, I’m unable to add the blinds to routines. It seems like an issue from what I could find but there didn’t seem to be a solution. Anyone have any suggestions?
So the last 3 bulbs I’ve bought have been bricked 3 weeks after buying them. I though this was fixed already. What is going on?
My switch started acting up and I don't how to fix it. I guess it's ready for disposal haha.

Hej!
A fix issue in OTA update has been released. Gateways which previously have gotten stuck on their initial factory firmware, should now be able to update after a factory reset.
Please let us know if your gateway is still unable to update. /IKEA Home smart
I bought an ikea trådfri for 17euros with the remote and one led bulb, after pairing the remote works for pretty much one day but the next it is already disconnected. The bulb is new the batteries are new and they work just fine. The problem is that even though i keep the controller in the same room etc after around 24h the controller just wont work on the bulb and I have to pair them together every time. Any help?
Thought this IKEA bridge would be more convenient and simple than the Philips Hue bridge. but it doesn't seem that way!
When i first plugged it in to power and netwrok, I was able to find it on my phone as a device, then it said it needed a update and kept on updating forever, then I tried to re-do the whole thing agian and my phone doesnt even recognize the device anymore!
Then when i tried to hard reset the device and i noticed there were clear scuffs of use around the reseting hole indicating that somebody has tried to reset it and that IKEA sold me a used product as a new one!
Can someoen say if this is a common issue with this device? i tried reseting, changing the network cable/port, trying to find it with a different phone, nothing worked!
Can i send a photo of the scufs and the signs of use to ikea and get a refund?

I can not add hub over matter to SmartLife. It says it's not supported. Should this work?
I did some network maintenance and I had to unplug the Dirigera hub. When I tried to use the Tradfri steering remote the lights did not turn on. Only when I plugged the Dirigera back in, the remote started working again.
I thought that this is a major issue and I tried repairing lights and remote but the remote can either be paired with the Dirigera hub or the lights and NOT both. So basically if I ever have issues with the Dirigera hub, I have to reset the lights (20 bulbs).
I remember that when I bought the Dirigera hub, lights could be paired with a remote that was already paired with the hub by putting the remote close to the bulb and holding the pair button on the remote. After that the bulbs would be paired with the hub and they could be controlled with or without the hub. This is not the case now, lights can be paired only by the switch flipping method therefore they are linked to the remote through the hub.
Please help :)
L.E.: By unplugged I meant that I unplugged the power cord of the Dirigera.
Found them today in Würzburg. Even if they are not listed online you can use shop&go to figure out if they are available at your lokal IKEA.
A famous share-market analyst in Hong Kong made an enquiry with local IKEA about the unavailability of Dirigera in the territory, and he got an answer that it’s due to Hong Kong’s safety laws. Totally ridiculous!

I hope someone could help with this - I've just got rid of a Home assistant setup in favour of a Dirigera hub, and have mostly set up what I had before.
I have found however, that when enabling the Alexa integration, it doesn't seem to pass through the 3rd party devices that I have successfully paired with the Dirigera hub. Everything else shows in Alexa but these devices are absent.
For those curious, the device in question is the ClickSmart+ 2 gang socket outlet.
For context, I have also enabled the Google integration, and these devices are successfully passed through to he Google home app, where I can control them with my voice without issue. it's just the Alexa integration that seems to ignore these 3rd party devices.
Does anyone have any insight on why this might be, and whether there's a solution?
I see Matter is now out of beta on the dirigera hub and the air purifier is listed as an exposed device.
As air purifiers are a newer addition to the Matter standard and not all of the big platforms are there yet, I'm wondering what the starkvind looks like when exposed over Matter. What options do you get? A screenshot would be great, if you are ok with it.
Thanks!
Hello guys. Quick question.
I would like to use the sunset function in Home Smart with a dirigera hub. I have synced my location and then turned of the location on my phone (battery drain) The next day the routine was not executed. Have you guys had the same isssue? In google home i can set the location of the google speaker once and then it adjusts through out the year.
obviously the LED should last much longer than five years, but wondering about the rest of the technology. in the last six months i’m having all kinds of issues with my tradfri bulbs which have functioned perfectly for the last five years.
i’m having flickering, two bulbs in the same fixture getting unsynched, and bulbs now flicker when they are turned off via the remote and i turn off the wall switch.
anyone else have these problems on older bulbs?
I’ve seen posts like these. But I’m wondering if there is a fix or should I go get a new remote or driver? Every time I come home at night the lights are on. Haven’t figured out what time but yea.
I have 2 other drivers with the remotes for each and they are connected to a Drigera. But these are fine.
Should I first troubleshoot by removing the remote to see if it comes on or should I just reset that set?
There are no scenes setup or anything like that for the lights.
EDIT: took out battery from rodret. Did not change anything. Reset the light driver and paired it again with drigera. So far so good.
Hope this helps someone else.
Is there a possibility to have them only once? How can I fix this bug?
