FRAG LIKE IT'S 1999! TOXIKK plays as if today's military shooters never existed: Designed as a spiritual successor to the FPS giants of the late 90s and early 2ks, TOXIKK carefully evolves their mechanics with modern technology and fresh ideas elaborated with Arena-FPS enthusiasts.

I'm pretty new to Toxikk but I know how to play (I've got some experience from Unreal Tournament 2004). I'm F2P player and usually played with bots (in only 1 game I've met a real player). But today, when I was playing there are only 2 server options for me: with map Ganesha (I don't quietly remember the name of this map) and Dekk. I went to Dekk against bots, however at the start of the match game crashes. I've tried go there again but it doesn't seem to stop crashing. What's going on with this game? Where are the players? Did Reakktor Studios shutdown servers?
Hey guys, I started a discord to try to see who I can gather for some regular Toxikk matches! Join if you're interested.
It's an amazing game I don't see why it just died.
I just looked on Steamcharts for this game and saw it has 500 playing now and 757 as a 24 hour peak. See for yourself. Since early August it has regularly reached 1000 players per day. Look at the history and you can see it has never had this many players in its whole lifetime, except for briefly in 2016. In contrast last month it had 45, and in 2019 had 5 players...
I noticed this review on Steam store which says " use it to play cracked games ".
So does this explain the massive player count jump? Is there some exploit that people are using the game for?
Looking for players to practice
!!!
Spread the love :)
This game is my all time favorite fps, but there is almost no one on at my tier. Anyone know of a similar game?
Hopefully people are still on this subreddit :)
How do you home the missiles? I press the right button to get the laser but after trial and error with a friend, we never could get the missile to home... what I am doing wrong?
Come support the game and join the group, we are determined to help the low player population, we will be running weekly events and more :)
I know arena shooters are outdated in younger player’s eyes, and if you’ve never played an arena shooter, you die. A lot. I get that it can be hard to learn and wonder why the fuck everybody is jumping around like a god damned fool. But seriously, this game is fantastic. I’m going to assume PubG was it’s death blow, being that it was already losing players and then a brand new game releases and toxikk is no more. This is more of a rant because I am sad that this is all going to waste. I haven’t had this much fun with an arena shooter since UT 2K4.
Seriously? I tried out this game today with some friends for the first time and love it. I think it's a great FPS. A great mix between Quake 3 and Unreal IMO. Is something wrong with it? Do people just not like it? There were literally only 15 people on playing when I was looking at the steam current players.
Having tonnes of fun playing with my friends on the free version. Wondering if the full version is worth it. Is there enough of a player base or is this game effectively dead like what I've been hearing?
So been looking to fill my arena fps itch until Quake Champions comes out, and this seems right up my ally. How big is the community and do the developers seen intent on support it for a while?
