I got my license suspended for 30 days and the cop took it, and my reinstatement day was on Wednesday but they said that I am unable to do so because I never handed it in. The officer emailed the department, but I'm not sure if I have to wait 30 more days. Is there anything I need to do?

edit: I got my lisence suspended for driving at night time on the 401 from 12-3 which I didn't know I need my full g lisence for, you guys can calm down now.

I failed my g test that i got through my DL extract through which i skipped my G2. I wanted to know if I can get another extract similar to the previous one to again skip through my G2.

Not sure if this is the right sub, but I am looking to buy a used car and would think this is one of the most helpful subs for letting me know what I need to check before buying a car from someone. Unfortunately I don’t know anyone who is knowledgeable about this stuff.

Im just curious, how many people here merge onto a highway going below the required speed. I’ve been driving for maybe 11 years and lately i noticed almost every person in front of me will drive 60kmph on the on ramp and merge at 70-80 and then proceed to keep going 70-80. Why do you do this? Were you dropped or thrown as a child? I need answers

Who should I be calling at this point. Where’s the proper enforcements on patrol? This city’s traffic is such a joke.

Anyone else notice the total disaster on New Cherry Street between Commissioners and Lakeshore? The roads are so narrow that big vehicles are clipping each others mirrors. Not to mention the quickly timed advance turn signals are so short that only 4-5 vehicles may turn at a time. Every morning traffic is chaos and at a crawl. What a poorly planned and designed area.

Generally, why do BMW drivers get such a bad rap for breaking the rules? There are countless posts about BMWs speeding, cutting in line, or parking like they own the place.

Is this a stereotype from the 2000s, or is their demeanor still accurate today? If so, why do you think its so?

Benz guys argues with bus driver filled with kids that he should be able to pass the bus because he can!!! Then comes to threaten me because I took a photo!

Bus had the lights flashing and stop sign wide open.

As the title says.. so, i took my daughter to spirit tonight and made a point to park further away from the entrance because as expected it’s really busy the night before Halloween. I usually try and park beside nicer well parked cars, iykyk. But when i went back to my vehicle this asshat had parked her giant Lincoln like a complete C**tbubble. After checking to see if i had any damage from her doors i realized I couldn’t see much in the dark nor really fit between them so i took some pictures and retreated to my car to write a very hostile note about parking like a jackass. Whilst i was completing my chicken scratch this twat knobbler returned to her boat. Being the confrontational queen i am, decided to take this opportunity to tell her to her face exactly what kind of dingleberry she was. It started with a “do you think this was an appropriate way to park? My daughter can’t even open the door” to which she replies “ i got into MY car just fine” with a skankiety grin, i retorted “that doesn’t matter, you’re too close to my damn car, you’re suppose to park between the lines, now we cant get in” she shrugged her shoulders. I proceeded to tell her she can’t fucking drive and she should probably get off the road if she cant figure it out. Then she said “ yea well I’m gonna so what are you gonna do about it?’’ Then i proceeded to call her a dumb cunt and she drove off while sticking her tongue out at me like a toddler with their diaper full of shit. Normally i wouldn’t post her licence plate but after our little convo i hope somebody recognizes her and calls her out for being a complete haemorrhoid to society. As for my car, i guess I’ll find out in the morning if there are any scratches or dings

Yo Drivers—have a quick question.

Below are two images of sidewalk level bike lane designs from a video posted on this sub. Normally, NA just paints a line on the road or put up a couple flexiposts and calls it a day, but these seem to be better IMO.

Painted lines are obviously cheaper and quicker to implement, but raised lanes provide more separation from traffic. 

So, I wanted drivers opinions on whether you:

• Prefer them because you are less likely to have conflicts with them?
• Prefer physical separation with a raised curb or bollards (like at University Ave)
• Believe they are worth the extra expense for added safety (for both parties)?
• Consider simpler options to get the job done just as well?

Which setup do you feel works best for both cyclists and drivers? Would love to hear feedback! 🚴‍♂️

Everyone's lights are insanely bright. I can toggle down my rear view but they're still in my side mirrors and oncoming. The pendulum has swung too far and now it feels more dangerous because I'm being blinded constantly.

I just don't want to drive in the GTA anymore.

Even on weekends it's so bad too.

Any party with focus or interest in this will have my vote

So I'm pulled over on Yonge Street facing south just south of St Clair. I'm waiting to pick someone up. For shits and giggles I'm watching the line of traffic slowly heading north. Counting how many drivers are on the phone. I'm at 60 drivers and 28 of them were on the phone. What the actual fuck is with that? Where are the police enforcing the laws?
