After Disney closed the doors of Toontown Online, a band of dedicated players decided that Toontown wasn't ready to go yet! Toontown Rewritten launched in October 2013 and has since gained over a million registered players.

I wanted see if someone can explain multi toon to me. Can the toons be on the same account or do I need to make another account to play with both of them the same time. I wanted to use my high laugh toon to help with my new toon for tasks. Thanks!
Hi! Not sure if this type of post is allowed, but I’m new to this game (I played as a kid but this is my first time back as an adult). I have reached a point where lots of my tasks involve battling cog buildings and it seems like I always have a hard time finding a group to do this with.
Does anyone want to add me/be in a group with me?
Another ToonTown commissions! This time, and adorable deer. Thank you u/ilovecats636 for letting me draw for you!
I have a question, im going on vacation for 10 days and I can't take my laptop to play which stinks. But will my plants wither away while I'm gone? I have a huge watering can not sure if that matters or not.
So, I've got kind of a stupid question. I've played TTR for 10 years now, and when I was about to start playing again, I became bedbound for a while (I play on a desktop) and I missed out on the code in '23 that gave the Toonfest clothing and accessories from recent years. I'm super bummed about it, and I guess I just want to know if there's a way I can find them still at all? Would it even be worth reaching out to the TTR team or is that dumb? It's a shame that I've had this account for so long and I missed something so cool.
Thank you all in advance for any advice/help you may have C:
So My toon is currently at 102 laff, I have all my gags and have finished all playground tasks, but I did what you would call in “uber toon” years ago which is basically where you finish gags before upping your laff, but now I’m not really sure how to get more Laff. I’ve been doing tasks for the Trainee Stamps, Which I’m kind of confused about as well, I don’t really understand the purpose of them/ what it does for me? Do I get more laff when I finish them all? If someone could explain it all to me that would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
To the people in the five story bldg I was kn. Im sorry i got the back screen of death in the last floor. I am a purple deer name Des. Forgive meee
Idk about the rest of yall but Christmas is beating me down this year irl. Work is busy and stressful, I'm flat broke, I've got so much to do.
But when I log on and see all the cute Christmas lights and festive outfits and snowflakes falling and gray wintery sky I'm so happy. Like a kid again. I can't wait to play on Christmas eve and gift my friends little presents.
Um no ma’am but I could use more time to get to the counter please 😂 this bug never ceases to amuse me
I was only doing the snowtoons tasks for the jellybeans, now I've got this blumming stupid snowman head! Anyway to get it off or is it stuck?
I had a dream about TTR last night and what was happening is that the toons could decide in the beginning what side they wanted to be on. So then I woke up and thought about it some more. What if when you made a new toon that you chose if you wanted to work with cogs or against them. Maybe you started in TTC first and worked your way up to have higher cogs to fight off the toons. It might make the battles more challenging if you are fighting against real people. I have no idea how that would work though but it’s an interesting thought. What do you guys think? Would you switch sides?
Very weird night tonight. I was in a mint and we finished a battle and moved on to the next one only to find out that we lost someone. Then we all left because we didn’t want to trio. Then I go to join a factory (literally right after) and a toon didn’t realize that the invasions don’t affect the cogs in the factory and asked if it was okay to leave. We all said I guess and then we were all just kind of staring at each other. We wanted to do long but for the sake of only having three of us, we all just agreed on doing short. We survived of course, but if I had a nickel for every time a toon just quit in the middle of a cog facility I would have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice back to back.
I'm at 106 laff and i still am not even close to being maxed in drop. What is the easiest and quickest way to train drop ? All I have been doing is invasions and and stunning, is there a better or easier way to do this? Or would anyone want to help me train? thank u sm!
Howdy. I tried talking to the Snowman in TTC, but he doesn’t engage, just says a random sentence and walks off. The same thing happened with the Jack o Lantern where I couldn’t get a pumpkin head, even with others helping me and being able to get it. Thoughts anyone? What am I doing wrong here?
I’ll tell you what, remember your first VP and how excited you were to do it for the first time?
Well, this morning, I started a group for Bull Run, had a 80 Laff toon join, at first I was concerned cause of low gags (Talking about Cream Pie for throw, hose for squirt, and fog for sound) but I was like screw it, it’s 6 am anyways…
He hasn’t been on in 2 years, last time he just did a coin run, never did a bull run, I was like sweet! His first Bull run, and I asked him: “did you ever defeat the Auditor on your coin run?” He had no idea what I was talking about, I was like YES! First time meeting the auditor, we got to the auditor, dude had no idea what was going on besides following instructions we gave him 🤣 he really enjoyed that Bull run
Next, the same group, we decided to show him a 1 star Field office, risky but we drew out a battle plan, he was very excited for it… Dude was a natural on the Cold Room and Mega Shakers Room! Only got hit 1 time by a cog!
We got to the boiler, he had no clue what was all going on 🤣, we guided him though, with a lot of unites obv…
When we were at the final stretch of the boiler, we were using squirt to finish some cogs, and he accidentally hit the boiler on DEFENSE! To my surprised, I thought the boiler would hit us all, NOPE! The boiler threw that monkey into the air and used Stamp of Disapproval!!! I was Dying laughing because I’ve never seen that 🤣🤣🤣🤣 it was so cool but we Toon him up and defeated the boiler! Got his very 2 first remotes!!!
Anyways, that was my morning
But bro. Sellbot VP pie throwing is horrible. I can clearly see it going in the tank but no. Miss. Why is it so hard to put the pie in.
So my wife played Disney's ToonTown online way back and 8 didn't even know it was a thing at all. A couple days ago, she texted me after finding this game and I immediately downloaded and jumped in a couple days ago.
Really enjoying it as an adult who never experienced the original and she is being able to relive and rekindle her enjoyment of it.
Hey everyone. Ever notice how satisfying it is to just click Sound and win? Or how stressful it becomes when Sound runs out and you're forced to Lure? What if I told you we could make Luring just as simple and reliable?
After months of testing, community feedback, and Reddit research, I've created a comprehensive guide addressing the main challenges players face with the UNM update: from the dreaded 2-Fog carry capacity to lots of Lure (or other gag) misses.
This guide bridges the gap between casual and veteran players, offering straightforward strategies that work across ALL of Toontown: cog buildings, facilities, bosses, and partially field offices (when lure is unlocked).
I highly recommend you check out my 9-minute YouTube video: Always Together | An Under New Management Guide for All. I've tried my best to simplify 20 years of my gag strategy concepts (including concepts from TTO and before UNM) and share them with you in a format understandable for all. Everything you will read below is represented and explained better in the video.
Here's an overview of the guide:
If you end up being in favor of this guide, please do not try to force the guide upon anyone in your future endeavors! Share it with like-minded friends who are more likely to adopt this playstyle with you. If you do choose to share it with unfamiliar faces, do it kindly and with the intention of simply spreading knowledge!
My purpose for this post is to simply share my mindless playstyle with the rest of the Tooniverse and not enforce it. Players can choose to adopt or reject this guide based on their personal preferences or narratives.
