So, I'm trying to make this little animation where it starts raining cherries, and, well, despite the particle spawning zone being a cylinder that completely covers the rest of the animation, the cherries are still rendered completely behind, despite half of them clearly having been generated in the foreground. How do I fix that ? All the pegs in the rain group are 3D, it should work, no ?
As you can see in the image below, while I'm trying to create the effect of the raccoon characters to play the guitar., their hand doesn't go above them. The weird thing is that this only happens in the Camera View, since the Perspective view is completely fine. Can someone help me solve it, please?
I tried to open a recently packed SBpro file and got a "scene not found error". I'm probably gonna be stuck redoing my work but if anyone's got a fix for this please help!

Hi, in my rig, I’m using envelope deformers with weighted-deform underneath to ensure that the textures on the drawings deform smoothly. However, if I try to apply a mesh warp (or a similar node) over the entire rig, it doesn’t work, and it seems that the weighted-deforms are the cause. Does anyone know how to work around this issue? Is it possible to package the rig in a way that the mesh warp treats it as a standalone object?

Just been rawdogging this program. Picked it up for the first time and the professor didn’t to teach at least the basics for is who have no experience. There’s so many frustrating things about this. Tried finding YT tutorials but they don’t help with what I’m tweaking about currently. Today’s problem is the select tool. It selects the whole drawing. I just wanna move the head, so I outline the head, right? No, it still selects the whole thing. I’ve been using the cutter option instead but it messes everything up. Can I just select certain lines? Not even sure if what I’m asking makes sense
The other question I had is why when you copy-paste a frame, when you draw on it, it also changes the from you copied from. I copy-pasted a walk section cuz obv I don’t wanna redo it all but the character was then holding something. I went back to review and it’s holding the same object during the first segment. So me confused erases it and what’d ya know it also erased it everywhere else
Edit: 1 more thing. How do I turn off where it automatically fills gaps with frames? Someone asked in class and the prof was abt to show us but then he said he forgot how he did it🗿
So I've been running into a handful of issues with the shadow effect I've applied to my bouncing ball. The main ones that I have yet to figure out are that the shadow I have applied through use of a cutter keeps appearing above the tree layer it is meant to be beneath despite the layer itself being shown as 'underneath' said tree layer. The other issue I'm having is that I cannot seem to get the 'blending' node to function on the shadow. Other nodes such as transparency work just fine but I really wanted to set the blending mode for my shadow as multiple so it fits into the scene a little better.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
Hi all, I am animating a Rig for an animation test. I need to do lipsync but the mouth of the rig is divided into parts (lips, teeth, tongue) what I would like to avoid is to have hundreds of “white dots” in the timeline for each mouth I edit, but not having a single layer drawing for the mouths I have no idea how to do it. Maybe it is normal to have in the main peg many white dots based on the mouths but it seems very confusing to me.
Im trying to have a small object get slowly bigger, but when i try to enlarge the size of said object inside of the second keyframe, the scale tool only works on the y axis, i cannot bend it horizontally and so cant get the object to be larger. What can i do and is this normal?
Hi all New to this and just wondering if there’s any way to add an external camera? To Acquire media there’s only a Scanner and I could Import after taking photos of drawings elsewhere but just wondering if there’s a quicker way to import. Thanks
Probably a dumb question but it's been a few years since I've worked in Harmony. I've got a Bitmap layer with lines in various colors. I want to hide colored lines and keep only the black lines.
I thought I could do this by converting to vector and lowering the alpha of the specific line colors, but I'm not seeing my line colors in the colour palette. Is this possible and I'm maybe just doing something wrong?
Hi, I'm having a bizarre issue with Harmony 22. I am working on a multi-scene project (all stored within my same computer). I have a "Palette Scene" within my project folder from which I link all my other scene's palettes so that if I change a character's hair colour in one scene it will change across all scenes. My issue is that once I start working on a scene with externally linked palettes, as soon as I get into animation and start moving keyframes around Toonboom inexplicably creates a new copy of all my palettes in that scene's folder and I don't know why. So then I have all my external palettes showing up in the scene palette list, and then a copy of every single one below that, same name but without the red circle indicating external linking. It makes things very confusing when I start using the Colour-Override node and there are multiples of the same palette to choose from. If I delete the copies they just show up again when I start moving keyframes again.
I want my scene palette folders to remain empty except for the original Palette Scene of course. I've searched high and low for the answer but I can't find it. Has anyone else had this issue and can you tell me why it's happening?

I'm going on a trip but i'd like to work on animation while i'm out. Since my laptop is too old i've been using a desktop computer and an ipad with astropad to connect it to toon boom, but i obviously can't do that on a trip. Since there's no toon boom ipad app, is there a way to export files to, say, procreate, flipaclip, toonsquid etc?
I'm currently trying to add an IK (inverse kinematics) system to my rig for the legs and i'm struggling to find a solid method for my rig but a lot of the material on how to do it seems quite outdated. What do you guys do for things like this? Thanks.
I don't know what happened, but for some reason my colors are completely different. At least, they still the same in the drawing substitution and when I export.
Hello, I wanted to tell you about my problem to see if you can help me.
What happens is that I was doing color on some plans for a project until the bucket stopped working, it appears transparent along with the brush. I don't know if it's some setting that I touched by mistake or if I have something activated that's not right.
I use toon boom harmony 22
Update: Thank you very much for your answers, it turns out that in properties I had the color disabled/invisible and now I can paint, thank you very much
I'm trying to use the lamb rig from Aixa Massoni and when I open it, the eyes are not showing as more than just a black outline, I already tried checking the position in Z and the drawing substitution, but I haven't been able to figure out this simple thing to be able to start working. This is how it shows when I open it, could anyone please suggest me what can I do for these to show? Thank you!
