Can you guys tell me what the best toaster oven out there. I used to have the big Breville one and loved it, till it was stolen. Now I donāt have that type of money to spend on a toaster oven. I used it for daily toasting and also to cook/bake covered dishes. Please help. TIA
I am looking for alternatives to my defunct Breville BOV900, especially in terms of capacity. I do not need air fryer, but I like baking bread in it sometimes, so it should go to 475F if possible.
The interior dimensions for the bov900 are about 16" x 13.5" x 7" based on some googling, since I already trashed mine.
Everything I found so far is smaller, has poor heat insulation on top, or has weird controls like not going from preheating to baking automatically.
I know that people have posted about this issue before, but I have yet to find a toaster oven that has a "mute" option or a way to silence the EXTREMELY LOUD "ready beep" when it is done cooking. I have scoured the internet, Reddit posts, and various user manuals for different types of toaster ovens to no avail. I am usually pretty easygoing, but I have bought and returned three ovens at this point, and it appears this might be the hill I die on.
Can someone PLEASE recommend a toaster oven that has the option to mute or silence the loud beeps that the buttons make? I do not want to disassemble or take anything apart.
I recently bought a Toshiba oven that lets out an aggressive screeching beep with every adjustment to the settings and as someone who is super sensitive to loud noises and lives in a very small house with older people who sleep at different times of the day, it is honestly a bit offensive to me that there isn't even an OPTION to turn the sound off or even down a bit!!! Thank you for your help and any suggestions you may have.
I have a Cuisinart TOB-260N1 and one of the glass rods on the bottom is broken, is there any way to repair it?
so i possess a toaster oven and no bakeware or much of any type of dishes for it. im looking for recipes aside from baked potato and frozen pizza that are cheap and filling again without the need of pots and pans. also nothing stove top related as i dont have a stove top
Please be kindš¬ I was just given a Wolf Gang Puck toaster/Rotisserie oven BUT I have no idea how to heat up or cook with it and yes, I feel silly asking...
Any ideas or tips on stuff to use it for? Would be mostly things for my 7yr old... Frozen pizza, toast, chicken nuggets, hash browns, grilled cheese or hot sandwiches/melts for myself...? Or any other ideas ?!? Again, yes I feel silly asking but help/ideas would be appreciatedš
Bernville air fryer. When i make toast with plain white bread, it sticks to the wire rack. What do yāall do to prevent that?
Hello everyone, my family just got an Emeril Lagasse French door air fryer 360. It looks very nice and the French doors are a nice touch however it takes 4:00 to make 1 slice of toast. What is regarded as the fastest toaster oven/ air fryer combo.
My new stove has a double oven, and one of the ovens has an air fryer setting. Should I keep or downsize my toaster oven? (Also recently given to me)
Hello, i am looking for a convection or air fry oven.
I cant find one without a non stick coated interior, do they exist?
I'm looking for a toaster/tabletop oven that is big enough to cook a 14 inch pizza. I looked at the Oster Extra Large, which I read could take an 16" pizza, but couldn't find one in the UK.
Any recommendations for the best toaster enough to cook a large pizza that I can actually buy in the UK?
Hi! I have a 3 year old Breville toaster oven.
Whenever I bake something, thereās a really bad smell coming out of it: almost like plastic burning smell. I already empty and clean the trays and the inside.
This smells started a couple of years ago, when I tried to clean the inside of the toaster oven with some baking soda and oven cleaner.
Now the smell makes me scared of using it.
Should I be worried? Do I need to toss it because maybe the nonstick coating on the inside is damaged?
So our toaster oven (DeLonghi 6 Slice Convection Toaster Oven with Rotisserie) only occasionally works now. Sometimes if we close the door hard or move it around a bit it will work but usually it doesnāt anymore. It turns on but doesnāt get hot - does anyone know whatās wrong?
We have opened it up, and only thing we can see is this element seems a bit worn.
Ideally, I would like the tray to be 9" x 11", and if possible, 2" deep. I know the deeper pans will be fewer and farther between so I can be flexible on that but it would be ideal.
My major concern is that when I read reviews of toaster oven baking trays around that size on Amazon, for example, they either have reviews claiming they "warp around 400 degrees" or the item lists a maximum baking temperature of 445 degrees. I have a few things I make that bake at 450, and I occasionally like to use the broil function on my Cuisinart toaster oven, which I believe is a standard 500 degrees. So I now am in a predicament and can't seem to find a good tray that size able to withstand 500 degree oven heat.
Can anyone offer any suggestions in those parameters?
This is obviously too much to ask for since the reviews for all toaster ovens basically suck. Iāve had an amazing Cuisinart toaster oven for 17 years and itās starting to have some problems so now Iām on the search for a replacement. It seems that all the new models from all manufacturers (esp. brands where quality products come to mind) in all price ranges have issues regarding fires, glass explosions, doors not opening and closing properly, shoddy materials especially the thin aluminum that surrounds the body of the product, LED issues, the lettering that surrounds the control knobs wearing off, and more! It almost appears that all toaster ovens today come out of the same factories. So what is one to do? Any suggestions?
Despite my toaster oven advertising "fits a 12 inch pizza", it will not fit a whole round pizza pan. If it was a thinner crust like a Red Baron, I'd be ok with putting it directly on the rack. But I've seen some scary looking pics of pizzas oozing down through the racks. So with a thicker, more doughy pizza like DiGiorno or Freschetta, I'd rather not take the risk. I'm thinking about taking the pizza cutter and cutting one of the rising crust pizzas in half while it's raw, and putting that half in the little baking pan. If that's even feasible. Wondering how/if I should adjust the cooking times. And should the middle rack be ok or should I move it to the bottom (it has 3 racks). This is a 6-slice, I guess medium size model toaster oven.
First time user: Breville toaster oven w convection feature. Made corn muffins but the underside was crispier than usual. Not in a good way. Any advice about how to avoid over cooking the underside? I used the same muffin tins that I used in my old oven, but the results were different.TIA
Iāve had a great Cuisinart toaster oven for 15+ years. The lettering and number graphics for the settings have become sensitive to touch and are deteriorating. I canāt even wipe it gently with a damp cloth or it will smear it away. In searching for a replacement online, Iāve read a number of comments by people who have experienced this with their new toaster ovens. Even new Breville ovens are experiencing this. Does anyone else have this problem? I hate to fork out $179 for a new toaster oven to experience this again.
My beloved Black and Decker toaster oven of many decades has finally gone to the big countertop in the sky (with a bang-- big electrical arc and all). I bought a replacement but it ticks-- it seems like every single new model does. I hate this. Is there any way to disable it? Barring that, can anyone reccomend a model that DOESN'T tick (or ding) It's like having a bomb on the my counter, NOT conductive to early morning breakfast zen. I just can't imagine who dreamed this up and thought it was a must-have feature. Any help appreciated.
Hi everyone,
Iām looking to get my very first toaster oven but through my search I have come to find that some of the ones I have thought were very promising are either not easy to clean or the glass explodes. So now Iām beginning my search again and was wondering if anyone in this community had any suggestions for good toaster ovens that are easy to clean and wonāt have the glass exploding. Iām also mainly looking for one in which I will be able to cook lasagna or cupcakes or fries. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you :)
I finally had it with my Breville BOV900BSS. Replaced it with this beauty.
Highlights:
- better toast
- 8 heating elements
- quiet
- microcomputer temperature control
- extra temperature sensor at the bottom of unit for safety and to prevent overheating
- PTFE, PFAS, and PFOAS free
ā
Things I miss:
- Volume control. The Zoji is not annoyingly loud, but it would be nice to be able to change the volume or turn it off altogether, like the Breville.
- The easier user interface of the Breville due to the number of dedicated controls. The Zoji requires going through a series of button presses when you need to change settings.

I'm looking for a toaster oven that doesn't ding or beep when the food is ready, or has a setting in which it can be switched off. I have extremely sensitive ears due to a medical condition, and I always have to leave the room when using my current Kitchen Aid toaster because the bell is too loud for me. Any recommendations would be appreciated!
