Just got a new A5 and after testing it out (200 rounds or so) the trigger started not resetting all the way, which caused misfires. It can be tapped or pushed back into place, but that’s a hassle especially under fire. Any thoughts?
I won a tippmann TPX thru an eBay auction with all the original internals. I contacted Tippmann and they told me to send it in to get the upgraded parts swapped out for free. It has a low serial number below 2000. I sent it out and will update what happens. Thru emails tippmann said it would be no cost to upgrade the original parts
Hello all, I work at Texas Paintball which still uses FT12s as their rentals. Over time the grip panels got worn down from use and needed to be replaced often. Turns out Tippmann stopped manufacturing those grip panels so I took it upon myself to 3D print replacements for our rental fleet. Over the couple years we've been doing this, they've been holding up perfectly. If anyone has a similar shortage at their field, send me a direct message through Reddit and I'll see about making some for your field.
So I have a Tipx with the bolt from TechT, im possibly looking into upgrading the Tipx to FSR obviously changing the breech in the process, but my question is can i use the regular TechT bolt just fine or do i absolutely need to get the long range one.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been out of the game for at least 15 years. I have an old 98 Custom that I want to find a rebuild kit and replacement single trigger for. In my brief search I see there is a new version of the 98 Custom. I was wondering if the parts were compatible with the original 98 Custom parts or where I could find said parts. I haven’t purchased paintball gear in forever so I don’t even know what websites are out there and are legit. I don’t want to end up ordering from an opticsplanet type website…
I dare not venture back over to PBNation. 😂
I have an E-Grip on my A5 and it clicks when you pull the trigger but once I install it and have it aired up it doesn’t. I figure either the tension on my striker is too high or the E-Grip is going out. It is an old Egrip. Any help or advice would be very appreciated.
I’m going to a field later today and they only do hpa refills
So I have an A5 that I have had forever, I know alot of A5 runners say to leave the front bolt stock which is fine by me. A fellow a5 user bought the super bolt from techt put it in and it ran fine no issues, he tells me to try it in mine and see how i like it. So I pop it in and first shot it wont blow back to catch on the sear, so i rip it out and go back to stock front bolt and voila works beautifully, now im not wanting to figure this out so I can get that bolt im just trying to figure out what is going on, as a note i do have the techt vortex mods installed and the drive spring kit.
Did it finally die?
I am about to but elite model in .22 cal and I am wondering what are practical differences between 11, 12,5 an 16 barrel? Is there noticable difference in accuracy, bullet speed etc...?
I know that it can use HPA and Co2 but can it also use green gas/propane?
It may be a stupid question but I am curious.
Thanks in advance.
What I mean is what is the thread as if you were going to tap/cut that thread? Like how a maching screw can be 1/4"-20.
Thanks in advance!ac
I own a Tippmann a5 with the response trigger. In a few weeks I am playing at a field that does not allow any firing modes other than semi auto. I have been looking for standard trigger frames or e grips for the a5 and they are hard to come by. But would the marker still function if I detach the gas line to the response trigger (and cap the port that feeds it)? Basically can I disable the response piston and use the marker as is?
Does a tippman magazine fit in all tippman airsoft rifles or does each gun have a different mag for that gun?
Does anyone know which Tippmann models are still currently manufactured or at least largely assembled at the Fort Wayne, IN plant?
I know that some models are being built fully or largely overseas and it seems to be most of the models offered in the current lineup except what seems to be the 98 Custom Platinum, the A5, and the TiPX.
I have seen Amazon listings automatically post "Tippmann products are made in USA" which is not entirely true since there are clearly some Tippmann products made overseas, as many pictures and testimonies by purchasers have shown (i.e. Alpha Black, Cronus).
I also saw a 2015 promo video on YouTube of the plant and they appear to be assembling TCRs along with 98s and A5s (along with .22 LR stuff that I'm not interested in, but looks neat nonetheless). Does the Fort Wayne plant just test and assemble or do they also still manufacture paintball marker parts in 2023?
While cleaning my tippmann A5 I lost the drive nail that goes with the spring, does anyone e have any suggesti9ns on how to fix or replace it in a jiffy?
Hi just bought the stormer tactical and am notching some barrel wobble how can this be fixed also is there a way to convert it to mag fed by buying an extra part
