Jamaica from 2021 ISOTto 1000 BC.

To avoid a mass death scenario, ASB gives Jamaica a large number of grain silos filled with enough food to both feed the island for one uear and to also have enough to sow for the next year. ASB also guides the islanders so that the first 10 harvests are very bountiful. Consequently the death toll during the first 10 years is negligible.

The first 10-20 years of life post ISOT are going to be spent on getting used to the new life. Cities are going to be depopulated and their inhabitants are going to live in the countryside. Old skills like blacksmithing, shoemaking or tailoring are going to be rediscovered and put to mass use. Cars are going to be abandoned and their bodies reused as scrap as fuel and spare parts run out. Electricity is going to disappear from majority of the country as the powerplants run out of fuel. After 15-20 years a new lifestyle roughly comparable to early 20th century is going to emerge although a lot of more advanced knowledge in form of books is going to survive and be put to use.

Questions:. Can Jamaica remain a single state or will it split into several countries.

How long until enough shipbuilding experience is gained so that long distance travel can begin? Will the Jamaicans colonize the Americas?

How long until contact with Europe is established and what will be the nature of that contact?

How long until Jamaica industrializes?

January 2001 Florida ISOT to January 3500 BC

EDIT: January 2000 to 3500 BC

Aside from ensuring Gore becomes President in the old timeline and Florida dominating the new timeline I'm wondering what the cultural, societal, demographical, political and tech development changes are

Florida is surprisingly food sufficient but has an incompetent government and no longer gets 6 BILLION dollars from Disney in this scenario

The nearest civilization is the Norte Chico off the coast of Peru early in this Bronze Age

Would Floridians commit to mass vaccinations of Native Americans? Respecting their cultures and religions?

Would Florida be imperialist and takeover the world?

Dec 12, 1941. Army Group North & Center teleported to Feb 21, 2014

The entirety of both Axis German armies are sent forward in time. Hundreds of thousands of armed soldiers with support from Panzers, Luftwaffe planes and artillery

No Finnish soldier is ISOT but any non-German Axis soldier does count. Including Spanish volunteers

Biggest question is if Putin still invades Crimea and the rest of Ukraine as well as how it would progress differently this time around

What would happen if you travel to a few seconds after the Big Bang?

Would absolutely everything change like would the earth disappear and so would? If it would would you disappear and if you will would it still be broken?

The Grandfather Paradox

What if you try to kill your grandfather in the distant past, but no matter what you do, he will not die, maintaining causality. You put him in a wood chipper, but the forces of nature or even the supernatural prevents it. Or he gets shredded in the machine, but I makes a miraculous recovery.

August 3, 1941. German-occupied Poland ISOT to January 194

All of German-occupied Poland along with everyone and everything in it goes back in time to January 1st, 194

I don't know how many Axis troops are in Poland at this point with Operation Barbarossa causing the battlelines to shift

What if someone showed up to steven hawking's time traveler's party and stephen then decided not to send out the invitations?

Stephen hawking hosted a party, to which noone showed up, because he only sent out invitations after it was over, to see if any time travelers from the future wanted to attend and prove time travel was possible. If someone had showed up, though, he would still have been able to decide not to send out invitations, which would theoretically break the system because the time traveler couldn't have come without the invitation. Unless he was stripped of his free will/freedom of thought on a line of predetermined events.

June 1997 Macau and Hong Kong go back to 110 BCE

Since both are in the same location (HK's bridges come with it) they are within Han Dynasty territory and will make contact with their ancestors immediately

Both cities need a big constant food supply which Han China can provide for in trade

Would Macau and Hong Kong be assimilated into to the Han Dynasty?

What would be the biggest and quickest changes in Asia?

Jan 2022 Belarus and all of Ukraine go back to 1327

This includes Crimea and the Donbas. Wondering how screwed Lukashenko, the few Russians soldiers, the Pro-Russian Donbas militias and the Mongols are

I know the Ukrainians now have the best military in this scenario and would crush the Mongols, Lukashenko and the very few Russian occupiers easily. Just curious what would be the best and most likely short term and long term plans the Ukranians take

The religious, cultural and other impacts on the medieval world would be interesting. The Black Death hasn't reached the Middle-east yet. In a few moths the Principality of Tver would rebel against the Mongols and their vassals, Moscow being one of them

Would Atheism and pro-LGBT views eventually become the majority in this other Earth in like a century or so? How bad would Spotlight 2.0 be for the Vatican, Caliph, Dalai Lama and Synagogues?

i want to go back to my childhood home

so i’ve had this thought ever since i was a little kid. i could easily sneak into my house in like 2009. i know my parents work schedule and when past me would be at school, so i know nobody would be home. i know where the spare keys are and always have been (i also remember every place we’ve moved it to), i know the alarm code. my neighbor is used to be drug dealers so they wouldn’t care if some random person found the key and got in.

i mainly want to see my old pets again, sit on my old couch, watch tv, see my old room and toys, probably steal some food from the kitchen but it’s my house so i think it’s okay.

i also had $30 go missing when i was like 7(i had been saving for a LONG time) and i tore my room apart and have never found it so if i don’t travel back in time at some point and take that $30 from my younger self, i’m gonna be pissed.

Feb 19, 2014. Ukraine is sent back in time to 3650 BCE

The entire nation of Ukraine is sent back to the Early Bronze Age. They no longer have to deal with Russia.

Ukraine has a lot of food and energy sources, being a self-sufficient

Corruption is still an issue with the military and government. Not that there would be any serious threat so they can downscale the military

Wondering how long until Slavery becomes obselete (EDIT: worldwide). Ukraine becomes a beacon of immigration.

What if 2020 Taiwan went back in time to 184

To the start of the Yellow Turban Rebellion and the formation of the Three Kingdoms period in Ancient China

Not sure if Covid was in Taiwan on Jan 2020. Also not sure what modern Taiwanese would do to Korea, Japan and the Americas

What if people saved hitler

Im not a fan of hitler. Many people think if they could go back in time they would kill hitler before he could start ww2. The thought never crossed my mind that people would go back in time to save hitler. What if that happened? It would be like a weird episode of continuum or something. Idk

9/11 Time travel question

Imagine if you somehow managed to travel back in time and you found yourself in New York City on the morning of September 11th 2001 an hour before the first tower was hit. How would you try to let people know what was about to happen? Would you actually mention that you were from the future?

How would time travel change your life?

I started thinking about that a while ago and it is driving me crazy, maybe somebody has ideas, especially if you are 50+:

Imagine Time Travel in a way, that you can only go back once.

But not as a "new" entity. Instead you travel back in time in your own body. So if you go back right after your birth, you could live your whole life again, but retain your memory.

In this scenario, you went back to the year 1970 and are a newborn or small child again.

With all your knowledge of the future, how would it change your life?

  • How would you make money right from the start using this knowledge? (If you happen to know lottery numbers, sports results or something like that by heart, this does NOT count.)
  • What kind of profession would you chose later?
  • As time goes by, how would you use your knowledge of disasters like 9/11? Would you try to prevent or change it?

Any ideas are welcome.

What if you travelled back in time, in a time slip- and did not realise you had?

Time Slips

I watch this video, and it really got me thinking. There is some examples on here, like a Mum that took her children for dinner in a restaurant and but after they realised it was closed years ago. It is time travel with no awareness that you have been in a time slip.

Hear me out for a minute

Let's say you time traveled back to the 1800s. And let's say you were there for about a month and you met a whole bunch of people and you made friends. Let's say in that time you started saying things like, what's up bro, and giving people high fives. Now let's say that that actually caught on and people thought it was pretty cool or whatever. Do you think something like that would make a significant change when you got back to your own time. I know it's kind of silly but I was just thinking.

What if

Before I tell you what if I just want to point something out time travel is not possible because if you where to travel to a Pacific time and place within a fraction of a nanosecond another you would be place exactly where you are in that exact time so my question is what would happen would a black hole form or something else also if it was possible but only for 6 months what would you do

What would it feel like to be stuck in a time warp?

Hi, this question is for a fictional story that I'm writing. In your opinion what would it feel like to be stuck in a time warp. Here's the story for some context - https://ideaparticles.com/the-timeless-anniversary/

Time travel theory

Ik that Time is a linear concept but if you think about it just like a graph has a negative correlation. People say that if u go faster than the speed of light that they believe that that can time travel. But what if they are thinking about it I’m the wrong concept of traveling back in time. Just how there is a positive there is also a negative just like atoms. So theoretically could you go the negative of light speed and travel back in the past? Which instead of have a butter fly effect it would technically cause your body to also to degrade into the young version of you and could technically replace your younger self as an effect of time travel. Causing a new time line. If you have any theories on this I would be happy to debate about it. Thank you for reading my theory.

Just hear me out: Time travel theory

What if time travel does exist and the people of the future made the best world they could make with what they had. For example Hitler, what if the people of the future had to let this happen so the world would be as good as it could be today. So trying to explain it more what if they didn't change anything the world might be close to being dead right now but for some reason because of the events they let occur they happened to save us all. The most common time travel question is would you kill baby Hitler, but what if we did and some how from that event it ends up making the world worse and that is why the future people let all these things happen and stopped all these other people so that the world could be better today.

Lets imagine we travel back time to fix some things as a kids

So lets imagine we have a time machine but we can go only back in time and we come up with the idea of going back in time as a kids to change some things but it goes wrong and instead of being a kid again we are still the same but in the past, what will you do, will you try to aprouch yourself(present) kid(past) to make his life better knowing the future or you wouldnt do nothing knowing that helping your kid self wouldnt change your actual life. My english is not that good and im sorry if its confusing, if you have questions about the setting please feel free to ask in the comments.
