Weird Vibration [SOLVED(?)ish]

I posted a little over a month ago asking for advice about a strange vibration I was getting when accelerating when reaching certain speeds. Long story short after replacing every single suspension component and the CV Axles, it turned out the passenger side CV Axle was the culprit. Even tho I drove on it for a few months (since November of 2023), the inner joint had some slight play that I think was causing the vibration. The reason I figured this out was because I went back to autozone and exchanged the CV Axle under their warranty and after replacing it again (about a month ago, shortly after my original post) it was completely smooth….for like a week. It’s now vibrating just as bad and it’s awful.

I am now wondering, does it make sense to go back to autozone for a third time? I’ve been considering either the GSP or the Cardone CV axles from Rockauto (which also have lifetime warranties), does anyone have any experience or recommendations with those?

Another question is, why would it wear out so fast? After I replaced it and it was smooth and I did my alignment, the car was still pulling right. This doesn’t make sense as everything suspension wise is new….I am lowered a bit (not slammed but lowered) and have -2 degrees of camber. Is this just the nature of driving a lowered fwd car? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Finally hit 40,000 miles in my ‘08!

It’s been driven more in the last couple years because it’s pretty much become my car. It was originally bought by my dad back in 2009 as a second car for his commute to work.

Help withtexhaust system

I currently own a 2007 hyundai tiburon 2.0 i4 with about 141k miles on it and is in pretty good condition , and being a young car enthusiast with not much money for full cat backs and header i wanted it louder , so I got the mufflers and resonator removed , doesn't sound horrible but I want it to crackle and pop . I don't know about how I would do it. Does anyone know how to make one pop? I was thinking about removing the catalytic converter , (NOT the one attached to the manifold) and I was hoping that make it do what I want , I need more educated insight though.

Looking For Insight

Hey everyone, just recently got a 04 GT V6 (Auto) been in the family since my childhood. Has 138k miles on it, no warning lights, drives good. Some serious paint oxidation across hood, roof and rear. My Chevy Colorado had some issues so I asked to swap vehicles for more reliability. I am hoping more knowledgeable owners can advise me what I should be on the lookout for, like known issues, required maintenance considering the heavy miles on it and just anything else that would be helpful to keep her in tip top shape for as long as possible. Thanks for your time.

What should be done before mounting a turbo on a 2004 2.0 dohc tibby?

Just to give you an idea of the shape of my car, just repaired a leak in the valve head gasket, bit of rust here and there, everything stock (for now), overall in good shape. Is it a good idea to even add the turbo? What should I replace, fix and improve before I do it?

Help with door handles

Hey everyone, first time posting on here.

I have a 2003 Tiburon in Australia and having an awful time dealing with fixing broken door handles. My driver side exterior one broke first, followed by the interior handle, i then fixed the interior handle and was waiting on my exterior handle to arrive. Now my interior handle isn’t working and has no tension, so I assume the cable is broken. Issue is I can’t get the door open to disassemble the car and look properly + fix it.

So here are my questions if anyone is able to help:

  1. How do I open my door with both handles broken (my exterior handle is out of the door so there’s a hole into the car that I can reach through)

  2. Where do I get a replacement door lock/cable

Thanks.

A 2004 Tiburon has a front collision that made the radiator core support bend into the radiator and break the radiator. How easy is it to replace the radiator core support?

2003 tiburon 50k miles only $2400

Hi guys so im looking to buy my first car and ive seen a Hyundai Tiburon 2003 automatic trans. with only 50k miles on it for 2400$! The owner is a woman of around 40 y/o that seems to take care of her car she had it for 3 years and the first owner before was a woman of 60 y/o

The car looks really clean and in good condition ive checked the carfax everything is okay except a police accident report in september 2004 and only one service reported in 2010 by hyundai (next report after the incident)

side note i noticed on the pics that she sent me that there was some rust under the car and under the hood but not on the body, i dont know to which extent and i live in Canada so im a bit scared

Im hoping this car will last me 3-5 years with good care, i know about the clutch and transmission problems should i be worried ? I know 2003 isnt the best year either

Opinions ? Im i crazy ? THANK YOU

EDIT: Thank you everyone for reassuring me ! I'll go check the car this friday i'll lift it up to check the rust level and if its good i'll take it TYSM EVERYONE !

I sold my Tiburon today after 18 years together

My 2006 Tibs was my first and only car up until now. I drove it to high school tennis matches. It went with me to college in upstate NY and bore the brunt of winter like a champ.

It helped me move into my first apartment and my first house. I drove it when I adopted my now 11 year old dog and on my first date with the man I'm spending my life with.

I treated it well and it truly returned the favor. It's not saying goodbye to the car that that's hard...It's saying goodbye to my youth.

Car stalls out at low rpm’s

I have a 04 v6 tibby that has treated me well for the past two years but now I’m having some issues. Anytime I fill the tank with gas it has trouble starting (fuel rail issue?) and I have to give it gas for it to not stall. That used to only happen when filling the tank but now if I drive more than an hour it will start stalling when I come to a stop, if I don’t bounce the rpms it will die in the middle of traffic. Any ideas so I know where to look??

Aftermarket radio power help

Hey guys, my radio just randomly went out the other day and it’s not powering on. The clock and stuff still works…I tried unhooking the negative terminal to reset everything and also replacing the audio 10a fuse inside the car, still not working. Any solutions? Could it be that I need to replace the radio fuses in the engine bay?🤔 Thanks for any help in advance 🙏

Need some help

So I’ve been helping my friend look for some cars since money is tight for him but something that’s could still be pretty fun to drive hence the stick shift. I’m speaking the the guy on marketplace and he says it has a misfire and a CEL since there’s a test pipe in place of a catalytic converter. I was just wondering if this sounds like just misfire or maybe something more since he said that’s he’s replaced the plugs and coils as well as some other stuff. Thanks in advance
