sometimes it works. but everytime i click on the comment button it makes a new thread instead of replying
also the bug report is not working
I joined threads a few days ago and I’m enjoying it so far and I don’t mind the 0 likes. But I do want to see the statistics so I can see who’s watching. Please send help 🙏🏼
Can we follow each other? Especially girlies
It's probably a post-election reaction but I see a lot of newcomers from X on Threads since Wednesday as well as people coming back to Threads after briefly trying it.
That's all, I wanted to report about this ^_^
I can't unpin what I have pinned either. Anyone else?
Having a challenging time finding that tribe on threads so reckoned I should ask here and find out if the idea is a non-starter from the git go?
Tia!
Activated my bonus this month and I have almost a dozen qualified posts and none of them are showing as reached. It’s been 6 days, is anyone else having this issue? And if you have is there anything I can do to fix it?
Yesterday I saw an icon(where i indicated )that Showed me all my Posts from Instagram in threads , and that enabled me to post my Old Posts Directly from IG , today that Button is not there , anyone have any idea?
Some time ago I deactivated my profile. Now, when i try to log back in, i can't. It appears this: You deleted your Threads profile on August 29, 2024. You'll need to wait some time before rejoining Threads with this account. Please try again later.
That's it, that's the Tweet. ;-)
Sorry I searched unsuccessfully for this question/answer.
On one of my accounts, I have the “for you | following “ option appear when I click the threads icon. But my other account does not. And I can’t figure out how to enable it.
Any help is appreciated.
I finally deleted my twitter “X” account today. Much too late and that is my own regret. I stopped using it after Musk bought it, but would still read tweets, articles, etc. Well I’m done after today because I refuse to support that man in any way shape or form. I joined threads and after looking up ‘Musk’ in the search bar, I am flooded with fake spam accounts praising him. I have been reporting as spam and blocking for the better part of an hour and it is STILL popping up every other thread or so. Screen recorded it to share bc what is this????? I’m about to just swear off all social media, it is a cancer
Note: I am fully aware my account is public, I do not mind the person found me, I am just genuinely confused by it.
Someone who must be good friends with my mother sent her screenshots of my posts *and* comments going back 2 months. I am 22, I am confused by why they would've done this in the first place. But the main reason I'm asking is I went through my Instagram followers, Threads followers, and people I follow on Threads. No one is someone who knows my mother well enough to have sent her the posts. How would you have found someone without knowing they have a different name on Threads then you know them as and don't follow them? I'm genuinely confused, and mildly freaked out.
I open the app and it’s just a bombardment of dramatic, crying democrat and liberal posts. Why am I seeing this crap? Why does Threads think I want to see this crap?
Hey all, I've been using Threads for a while now to promote my business and give people advice in the industry I work. I got to a point where I wanted to hire someone to work alongside me and so I posted a job advert directly to Threads (and Facebook). Admittedly, the wording could have been better, as it did include phrases like 'The work is 100% online' and 'you only need a laptop' which in retrospect was probably the thing that flagged the automatic bot detection. About 4 hours after my posts, when I was asleep all three accounts - Facebook, Instagram and Threads were all suspended. Facebook I was able to get back with a quick verification, but the other two took a couple of days to get perma banned for "human exploitation"!?. I intentionally advertised prices which are double the market rates where I'm living..
I did do some research into whether or not it was against TOS to post job adverts, and I can't find any clauses in the TOS themselves. Would anyone be able to shed some light? I my account, its following and all of its contents have been permanently deleted with no way to appeal - so this has been a pretty big hit to a way I often find clients.
Cheers.
I’ve read that it makes suggestions based off who you interact with the most on IG but we have no liked photos or comments and have never sent a message. I’ve gotten well over a dozen notifications for this 1 person since January.
I have a theory on why it’s this particular person but has anyone else experienced this? Is it just a bug and coincidence it picked them?
Also, neither of us post or comment on Threads.
I've been on threads for a month or two and don't use it much. Only had a few posts, nothing wild, just the occational picture/mundane stuff and short reflections. Overall nothing offensive in my posts or comments that I'm aware of, and I don't follow a load of people, so what gives?
I just moved over from Twitter. I would like to read the Vison, Mission, Product statements for Threads. do they exist? Where? Anything similar?
Threads still has a chance to learn from Twitter by clarifying its truly human values.
If Threads has no values other than corporate profits, I predict Threads will be out-competed by a platform which explicitly voices truly human values.
I just came over from Twitter. I use face expression emojis to brighten up and humanize my posts.
What is the point of no emojis at all? Is there a discussion or Threads comment on the absence of emojis? The GIFs available I've seen are all DEhumanizing images.
I just moved over from Twitter. I notice Threads UI is THREE TIMES slower when I click the like and up to four times slower when I click repost. Is Meta surveillance of me making all system responses slower? The clunky UI makes Threads vulnerable to competitors.
We all know it's coming don't get upset by this question. No one makes social network to not make money. I'm hoping once ads start appearing maybe organizations will stop ignoring it.
Is there a quick and easy way to take all of the different accounts I follow on Twitter/X and follow them on Threads? Elon’s rampant misinformation & ad campaign has finally chased me off the platform. I see someone had a tool for this that is now defunct. Anyone replace it? To be clear, I don’t care about people who follow me; I want to transfer over the people who I follow on X so I can try to replicate X without Musk’s interference.
Thanks in advance!
Is there a way to see people who follow you but are hidden? When I click on my list of followers, there are ten that do not show up. I'd like to know who's viewing my content!
What is the name of the phenomenon when people are drawn to bad things? I don't mean simple curiosity or guilty pleasure, but when a person can really dislike something and can feel disgusted by it, but at the same time he can be drawn to it (for example, watching videos where someone died or suffered, etc.) or is it still gulty pleasure? I couldn't find a term on the Internet that denotes this phenomenon, maybe someone knows?
I started writing medium articles and wanted to cross post these as threads. Was wondering if anyone else does this and what tools you guys use.
I want to reference one of my own posts on Threads as a reply in someone else’s thread. Is there an option to directly quote it or a workaround to link to it in the reply? I’m looking to make it clear and easy for others to follow without copying everything manually!
I’ve never seen a profile that has an age restriction of 25+. Why is this a thing?
thinking of becoming a member on threads, is it worth making money on threads.
wish you could create an account on threads without having an Instagram account
can you ignore the Instagram account and just use threads? 🧵
