I know services like dlvr.it, ifttt and others can auto-post to reddit, facebook, etc, but I haven't seen any that can autopost rss feeds to threads? Anyone know if there are any available yet?

Meta is apparently giving raffle tactics a go to get creators posting more on Threads, according to The Information:

Creators have to post at least once a day on Threads for 10 straight days to be eligible, and Instagram encouraged them to use the hashtag #GoodVibesonThreads to make it easier for staff to “find and share” their posts.

Then, creators are entered into a drawing for 10 prizes, which are worth up to $500 each.

Anyone else used to get likes and comments on Threads and all of the sudden barely get 1 or 2 likes? I was doing the womensupportingwomen trend but the # dont seem to help anymore. I feel like I should get more since I have 1k followers. I also tried posting without the hashtag but it didn't make a difference?

Anybody knows why or is experiencing the same thing?

Everytime I log on. I either see countless thrist traps by women or anti men rhetoric by women. Either one of the two. Most of the men I had on my timeline. I rarely see making posts. It's like they're gone. The feed is cluttered with women. Who seem to thrive on the app. Inb4 the generic algorithm answer.

Something strange is going on with the app. I was with it since the beginning. Before I saw nothing but genuine conversations and good vibes. Now....It seems like like a "softer" Twitter. But with mostly progressive and Liberal users.

And dont get me started when it gets dark. Seems like people just get ridiculous sexual at a certain hour. Nothing but thirst traps from almost every post.

My Brother's has Instagram @abi_tutorials account.So He Said me to remove all the people's he following so I used a app called followers tracker inspire or something. 1 logged his account and now he can't login into his account they sent a 0TP to his phone number and it's not in service help Mee guyssss

Does Threads have a desktop version (a full version)?

Almost every time I reply to someone, I then have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the thread to see my comment. Replies both before and after mine are routinely above where mine shows up, even when my reply has more engagement than the others.

When my posts are actually seen they do quite well in terms of engagement and reposts and stuff. I don’t get it. Shadow ban?

I can’t be the only one who experiences this. I’ve tried asking a couple times and the post doesn’t appear to get seen here.

When I log in on my laptop, any images, including most of the profile pictures, aren't loading, the only profile picture showing is my own, at the top of the feed (next to "start a thread"), although my profile picture doesn't show when I actually click though to my profile. All I can see is the alt-text. It seems to be working fine on my mobile!

Anyone else having the same issue or know how to fix it? I'm guessing a good first step might be clearing the cache, but just thought I'd check here in case anyone has better ideas or knows why it might be happening.

On Bluesky when you block someone who replied to your post, it removes their reply so no one can see it

If I block someone on Threads who left a hateful reply, does that remove their reply to my post for other people as well?

I tried to go to the threads website today (From the Instagram site) and it started telling me I need to 'install the app to create a profile.' When did this happen? Anyway I tried to do that and it started telling me I had a failed logon attempt and demanding that I change my password, even after I clicked the 'Yeah that was me ' button. This is BS, Instagram.

UPDATE: Oddly enough, it just started working again. Go figure.

"A test Meta is running on some accounts puts a messaging button on the profile page with an in-app messaging box.

As Meta told Engadget, this is still using Instagram’s DM system and there are currently no plans to build a standalone messaging experience on Threads. Even still, a step in the right direction."

Does anybody know what may be the cause behind why i am unable to quote repost/retweet a specific person? He doesn’t have me blocked as his profile is still visible and I’m able to interact with the post I’m trying to quote in other ways. Every time I try to post the quote it starts uploading and than just gets stuck in an upload cycle. The only way to stop the post from uploading is to sign out of the my account.

Does my Instagram account need to be active to use threads? I was using both but deactivated my insta.

Haven’t been able to post either since yesterday.

They just keep buffering and saying “Uploading..”

I have uninstalled the app multiple times and reset my phone
