Welcome,
This sub is dedicated to organizing roundtable discussions (perhaps over Google+) after each upcoming presidential debate with Gary Johnson, Dennis Kucinich, Jill Stein, Ron Paul, Russ Feingold and others where Romney and Obama's comments are analyzed & critiqued.
It is our hope that discussions featuring influential figures of various political leanings will help amplify a variety of viewpoints that otherwise might not gain exposure through traditional media outlets.
If you share the belief that our two-party system is in dire need of reform, join us as we attempt to convene intelligent discussions about the critical issues that face our country.

Honest question, and I am open to being educated and having my mind potentially changed.
A lot of the people around me (I’m a college student) are adamant about voting for a third party in the upcoming presidential election. I completely understand the disillusionment with both candidates. That being said, though, I vote in every local election in my state, and I have never seen anyone other than a Democrat or Republican on the ballot.
Why do people think voting third party at a federal level will have any impact when they can’t even do it at a local level?
You could win house and senate seats by running in areas where 2/3 of the vote go to a certain party the vast majority of times, and point out the fact that if the dominant party’s votes get cut in half they or you would still win. Therefore making people vote for you instead of the dominant party out of fear of the non-dominant party winning.
Hi, I just found this subreddit and was wondering who is active here as far as third parties go. So what party/ies do you support?
all the threads in this reddit are locked and no activity exists. let me guess some partisan mod decided to nuke the reddit?
