1. Please leave some detail in your posts, and include all relevant links.	If your post is about the subreddit, please include `[META]` in the title.
2. Be excellent to each other.	There are plenty of legitimate reasons to call these accounts out without resorting to name-calling or other less than civil behaviors.
3. No "brigading," mainly because it's pointless.	A one day old account with a front page post consisting of a picture of someone else's puppy that they found on google is unlikely to be swayed by a few downvotes, and they'll probably just make another account tomorrow anyway.
4. Do not use the u/ or /u/ format with spam accounts in the comments.	This will send a notification to the accounts. This only pertains to comments, and no notifications are sent if there are more than 3 tags in the same comment. Using the reddit.com/user/USERNAME format is okay. Why we have this rule.
5. No witch-hunting.	We want to focus on preventing spammers from posting spam, not harassing spammers or anyone appearing to aid them. Witch-hunting will detract from this sub's purpose.
6. Provide proper evidence of accounts being suspicious when requested to do so.	This rule is in place to make sure that legitimate users are not labeled as "shills".

I've downvoted the account a couple of times according to RES but only on its most recent post realized how weird the comment was and looked through the account history, and all the posts are either restating the post titles or are takes that are obviously AI-generated, like calling Logan Webb a relief pitcher

Hey all, these look like bot accounts posting stolen content. They posted in a subreddit I mod for this morning, one after the other. All accounts were created between Jan 29 - Feb 27 2024. All posting in free karma subs and other bot karma farming subs. All appear to be established, or ex, porn performers/content creators.

If you want to call out bots, just start opening usernames posting in /r/blessedimages and google their comment in quotes.

Almost every post is a bot. The mods there apparently don't care, might even be involved with it being a bot-mill, but you can just open their accounts and google their comments to call those out instead.

I'm even suspicious of the upvotes in the sub, most posts are 99-100% upvoted with hundreds of votes, yet only 1 or 2 comments.

If you call any out, don't forget to paste their username without the /u/ into your comment so it's googlable.

Got an unsolicited invite from u/Independent_Dirt_576 an account that appears to be mass messaging people to join /r/eugenicsinamerica. Seems like something which should be investigated given the subject matter.

Link required, of course.

NeutralBluePrint had been posting weird gross boomer comics, as per the spirit of the Sub, but their post history reveals they've been posting weird gross anime naked women (and girls, especially girls) too!

So after a kind user reminded me of the dark secrets lurking within that post history, I banned them, as obviously an account that posts child porn won't fly by Reddit's terms of service.

Exactly one (re)post per day for the last 11 days resulting in 80k karma.

u/kfhdjfkj61637 is a year-old account, previously seemed to only write up long, detailed comments about games, now suddenly stopped commenting and just reposts exactly one old meme/pic per day, each getting over 10k upvotes. Seems very inorganic.

Bots that slightly reword comments

u/Expert_Access6655 is the most recent example I've seen, but it seems to be a growing issue. Or I'm out of the loop and it's been happening for a while. These bots take comments from elsewhere in the thread and just sub out every word for a synonym so it's a bit harder to spot. This particular one stood out bc it was replying to a completely unrelated comment so it made no sense. Account was created 11 days ago but just made its first comment today.

I've seen a bunch of these in the past- they post to mostly the appropriate sub in mass, they rarely comment, and they're just mass-posting stuff from legitimate publications (lpm.org is louisville public media or something which I THINK is a real publication and not just a content farm/ad revenue scam blog)

They just continually spam political and non-political subs in the UK and India with their political news articles. Might be a bot. I don't know. I have reported them multiple times but no action is taken. I have reported the user themselves on many occasions. Nothing is done.
