The Bass line at the beginning of Nota’s “Sledgehammer” comes to mind, as well as the beginning of Pentatonix’s “Born to be Wild”
He kind of just disappeared from his YouTube channel and from the group around 8 years ago. I’ve come to suspect that he might be dead? I’ve tried looking up why he left the group and there just isn’t any information on it
Edit: found he has recent posts on his Instagram so he’s not dead. Still don’t know why he left the group though. Maybe to pursue a solo career?
I really though Matt from the bubs would have had a career that took off. Anyone know if he pursued music?
I hope that if/when COVID ends. The show comes back. It was the best musical competition show out there.
Ben was always teased for using 'big words', which they reminded Patrick at the opening...and then Jewel using "amalgamation" ("Don't ask me to spell it"). What is the deal?? I get that we don't want to estrange non-musicians. But what, we can't respect those who venture into the realm of decent vocabulary? Help me here...I'm hanging onto the threads of this poor show!

There's six of here, let's do this!
Whether you think some were genuinely bad, or they were all good but some were just less good, which groups were at the bottom of it all?
Nota, Committed, PTX, and Home Free. Do you think they each deserved to win their season? What do you think of their style, etc?
Here's the tour dates. Found out about it a little too late, they are playing in my town on my birthday, and they sold out in about a day. :/
If anyone knows how to get tickets to the Feb 22nd show at the American Music Theater, I'd appreciate it.

I really like Jewel as a judge - she brings the needed female perspective, and really understands the intricacies of what these groups are attempting. I've enjoyed her all season, almost more than Sarah B.
However, WHAT IS WITH THE BOOBS? One of the main reasons I love this show is because it isn't filled with useless reality TV drama and playing up the gender stereotypes. People doing what they love, and getting constant & constructive feedback on who to improve in their craft. Why do Jewel's boobs have to be a part of that?
I'm a well-endowed lady and I am not boob-shaming here. The wardrobe choices are just putting them up AND out - sometimes you gotta choose one.
I sound like my grandmother. Get off my lawn. \endrant

Tell me what you think. I love The Sing-Off so much, I'm definitely going to watch the entire season. Haven't skipped an episode yet. However, this group of contestants didn't give me that magical warm feeling in my heart like the previous seasons did. All seasons, the intro made me know there would be at least 4 groups I really wanted here more of, but this intro didn't make me feel the same way. I'm only biased for Element, the all female group because it has Johanna from Delilah, and I loved them. Hopefully I'm wrong. What are your initial thoughts from the preview?
