The way he was always helping John made me believe he was going to be a regular
Is there a rookie discord server? If so please send the link greatly appreciated
I’m so hooked to this show I just can’t drop it. Soooo, I finally reached season 3 and I just find it so upsetting that despite Nolan’s efforts to uncover a dirty cop, he got a letter of reprimand that ruined his bright future in this career. He is just way ahead of his peers and he was really meant for this so it is hard to imagine that he will be stuck at the bottom of the ladder as a patrol officer forever. I just can’t stand the idea of imagining his peers he went to police school with like chen occupying detective positions and he will just still be a patrol officer just because of that “mistake” of trusting his instincts about armstrong and listening to his TO about not telling anyone about it. He has suffered enough and has put his soul into this career that gave him hope. Look idk what is gonna happen in the future about the characters in this show but it is just upsetting and annoying that this is how grey and the department rewards him.
I think Nolan should stop being a TO after wefinish Celina's training because he is kinda the main character and I want to see him out on patrol with someone other than a character we just met and have to deal with.
No spoilers, just here to say me and the wife just finnished the jerry episode, and were at tears. We love jerry and everythings hes done for the force. He went out the same way he came in, that got me.
I just watched the show for the first time and I honestly couldn’t stand Jackson most of the time. I don’t even know what it is about him or any moment in particular that I didn’t like but for some reason every time there was some scene or conversation involving him I just got weirdly annoyed. Does anybody else feel like this or am I just weird?
Out of all of John Nolan's girlfriends, Bailey truly my favorite partner for him! Which one's yours? Also this image is really funny
I just finished binging all 6 seasons of the rookie in like 9 days so I'm new here. I don't know if this has been asked a lot but I'm curious; who do you think fell for the other first, and who realized they had feelings first, and who accepted their feelings first??
Season 1 Spoilers (possibly)
Idk about Angela but I see a lot of hate for Talia and I don’t know why. Talia and Angela make me laugh more than any other character, ik we don’t get extra scenes with them (at least till episode 12 where i’m currently at) but I love every scene they’re in (Though Jackson is a little annoying imo) and I don’t think I’ll ever understand why people don’t like/don’t care about Talia (everyone is entitled to their own opinion I’m not judging I’m just confused)
I recently finished the sixth season and have fallen in love with this show and characters, and has become my comfort show, but is it accurate?
So for Season 3, Episode 13, 15:55. Naila is training Lucy to be an undercover cop. When talking about rules, Lucy says "I always have to be aware of the law and the proper procedure. There are certain actions I can take as a UC- I can be the lookout for a burglary, I can drive the getaway car".
Does this mean that she can actively partake in the robbery as long as she doesn't harm someone? I.E, If this were to be a bank robbery, she can take the diamonds from the vault and take it to the car?
Am I crazy or does Lopez refer to La Fiera’s gift of a red ribbon bracelet to ward off evil spirits as, “a gift from a Colombian drug lord”
But isn’t La Fiera Guatemalan? The wiki says she is, and that is where she takes Lopez when she is kidnapped (literally “kid”napped since they were trying to steal unborn Jackson)
Is La Fiera a Colombian drug lord because she operates her narcotic operations out of Colombia, or is she just Colombian? Or both? Or it was a mistake in the writing/retcon?
Considering how expensive Los Angeles is how can everyone, including drug addicts and criminals, live in houses that would go for a million or apartments that would be thousands a month?
No one lives in run down apartments or abandoned buildings which is where a lot of drug users live because , face it, all their money goes to drugs, not accommodations.
What you guys think of Ellroy Basso aka nell's boyfriend and crime scene cleaner. I genuinely like his character and I want to see his much more cameos with Nell and a whole ep around him.
!I was frustrated with Lucy in the relationship in season 6. I don't think it was fair to accuse Tim of sabotaging her like she did. And if the audience is supposed to view it that way, it was terribly done. Also just generally she should have been more open and kind about going towards UC work given her boyfriend's issues. She doesn't have to give up her dreams. But the empathy was just way off. And when Tim's evil army comrade shows up, I get why she kicks Tim out for not looping her in. But then sitting at home calling herself a "good girlfriend" for NOT reaching made no sense. The only part that felt right was her reaction when Tim broke up with her. If Chenford is endgame, I hope the writers do a lot better by them next time around!!! Pretty please.!<
Okay so I just finished the episode and ik that Rosalind gets shot by a sniper, people said to go watch The Rookie Feds but I haven’t finished The Rookie yet so I don’t want to watch anything yet but does it ever explain who or why someone shot Rosalind?
Ik it’s Rosalind and it was bound to happen but I want to know the backstory on that.
Rest in Peace Annie Wersching 🕊️
Oh my god I’m so annoyed! They introduced this evil character Dr. London and theres only 2 more episodes? There is so much going on and so much to reveal.
I always knew she was bad vibes! Especially her interactions with Aaron and cutting off the recording to capture the opposite of what happened, she clearly showed interest but wanted it to reflect differently on tape.
Remember the situation? If not, a quick recap is, there was this guy that was a scam artist, he'd set up dates with women in expensive restaurants and then dip leaving the women with the bill, one time the restaurant caught him and called the cops, Lopez and West (still a boot) responded, the bill was first 680 dollars, Lopez told the woman to bump up the bill because if it was more than 700 the guy would be charged with a felony, if not it wouldn't be as bad. West went all high and mighty saying that Lopez pursuing the woman to charge up the bill was wrong. I think she was in the right, this man had done the same thing multiple times, just wasn't caught for a lot of them, but I'm curious what you guys think, was she in the wrong or in the right?
Found it on rewatch
Just want to here rants, opinions, and predictions on the up coming season seven. Just to see everyone's thought process
Especially in the netherlands. I have been waiting for almost half a year now, i know it exists. (I dont know how vpn works)
I'm just re-watching an old Alan Tudyk episode (2x08 Clean Cut) and aside from the blatant Toy Yoda truck product placement at the opening, Nolan asked the sergeant if he should put out an APB (All Points Bulletin) and I realized that I hadn't heard that for a while on many a show because they all switched to BOLO (Be On Look-Out).
And I was wondering if that coincides with changing terminology in the real world as well or how the change came about.
So I've just started watching the show, I'm half through Season 2, why is Armstrong giving me such bad vibes? It's probably just me, but he came of as extremely friendly in the beginning?
I’m on episode 19 of season 4 and I swear to everything if these two don’t kiss soon I’m gonna lose my mind
