i just realized something funny about alador and darius, alador and darius both clearly know how to teleport using abominations, like alador teleporting to bones bawl to catch amity skipping her trial at emperors coven, darius can teleport the BAT rebel allies like katya, amber and derwin to prison. so i wonder why when darius captures willow, gus and the other kids, why doesn't darius just teleport them one by one to their homes to speed things up or teleport them to hexside school so the kids can go home by themselves, if darius' intention is not to actually want the kids to join the coven, then why sit on the airship to take them away and wait for hunter to stop them? or why doesn't alador teleport himself and the kids away from where there are abominations and into an area closer to the castle instead of using the airship? (willow apparently knows how to teleport herself through plant magic but i can't remember which episode?). but that's just my funny thought, because if that was the case then nothing would happen to make a dramatic episode. but maybe the writers break the magic rules of the world itself to develop the characters, showing the rather weak writing in the way the owl house's magic system is built.
