Berbers or Imazighen are an ethnic group native to North Africa and West Africa, specifically Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Mauritania,

northern Mali, northern Niger and the Canary Islands. Smaller Berber populations are also found in Burkina Faso and Egypt's Siwa Oasis.
