The Night Feeling is the thoughtful nostalgic emotion you feel when you drive alone at night, or see a city skyline at dusk with the wind in your face.
It's a subreddit for the feeling you get when you're feeling lonely but at peace, thoughtful but melancholy, and homesick for something you can't quite remember.

Not my photo but I love the atmosphere.
My son was in the hospital and I took a late night walk to clear my head. At the corner there was the steam plant for the complex, just quietly doing its work. I spent quite a while just watching this little vent and admiring the workmanship of the pipes. I felt a lot more ordered and calm when I finally stepped away.
Life has been pretty hectic right now, but sometimes it’s good to step back and be grateful for the little things. Love the views when I get out of the office, so I figured I’d share them with everyone else!
The title of the post is inspired by one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite bands ever - Lostmyhead by The 1975. I definitely recommend checking it out!
