I found out about (news to me!) the $5 meal in the US, which is:
- 1 Junior Chicken Burger
- 4 Nuggets
- 1 Small Fries
- 1 Small Drink
Does anyone know what's the Canadian equivalent of this?
By the way, this does not appear on any of the US menus, but you can ask for it.
Currently in my app. one of my offers is $2.49+tax for a Cheeseburger my friend's app has it for$1.75+tax! Why?
Hello everyone. Today, I have learned that the McDonald's I work for, together with its four other branches, make it mandatory for any member of the management to leave behind at least two 10/10 / 5 star google review per day. I find this absurd and unethical. Is there anything I can do and have other heard something similar? Thank you for your answers.
Local McDonalds doesn't have the option. Use to be able to, not now. Can do it when out of town. Son has Celiacs and loves Mickey Ds. We can do it at the drive thru/inside but its much easier with the app and deals. Thanks for any input.
I've been using the McDonald's app for years now and never had this error happen. Now every time I try to add my payment method I get this error: "Unable to process your card. Please contact your payment card provider." There is nothing wrong with my card and I can pay just fine in person and more importantly on other fast food apps. Why is this happening for?? If I can't figure this out and fix this then I can easily just go to another fast food establishment where the app works instead of this nonsense
Was flatly told "were not allowed to sell breakfast sauce." Anyone else ran into this?
Very disappointed. Waited all this time to get it back when bagels came back only to be told I can't buy it.

I hope you can help me understand the proper procedure for using rewards on the app (inside the restuarant). We love McDonalds and go often. I usually order 2 meals and use the 20% off if over $5 deal. I racked up a lot of rewards and decided yesterday to use the rewards for a Big Mac. I went up to the counter and ordered 2 Big Mac (meals) and I scanned the Big Mac reward and paid.
The woman who waited on me said "ok, you'll get a third Big Mac". I responded, no no, that's not what I want..I don't need three Big Macs. I want the cost of one Big Mac to be taken off of the order. (This led to an actual shouting match with her, which I regret, but she was hostile from the start).
I kept telling her I didn't want 3 Big Macs and she was like "too bad". I asked to cancel the order and start again. Then, of course, it showed that I had already used one deal and couldn't use another. Eventually, because the argument was so heated a Manager did come over and rang it up the way I had expected.
Can you tell me if I try to use rewards again in the future....is there some specific thing I should have done differently to make the transaction go smoothly? I guess I assumed I'd get credit for one Big Mac when I ordered two and I scanned the reward. What should I have done instead? And thanks for helping me. I appreciate it.
I would like to buy a gallon and couldn’t find it on googlee.
I went to McDonald's for a quick lunch in between appointments and they screwed the order badly. But I didn't notice it until a few minutes after driving through I had been munching on fries. When I went to take a bite of the sandwich, I noticed it had no beef but had fish instead. The receipt said I ordered Quarter Pounder meal, I got 2 Fillet of Fish sandwiches and 2 large fries instead. I had to turn around and go back.
When I showed them the receipt and the bag, they asked other employee if someone turned in my lunch. They ended up making me fresh meal instead since I guess they didn't find my missing lunch.
I hope they threw away the food I bought back because I had been eating fries and took one bite of the fish sandwich before I noticed the mistake. It's going to really suck if someone else came back looking for missing fish sandwiches and got my bag only to find it's missing a bite out of one sandwich! I would have demanded a new one anyway since I'd have no way of knowing if someone touched my food or even slipped in something nasty like razor blade or cyanide.
Serious question for the employee, if customer returns the food due to mixed up order, what are the proper procedure? Throw it out and make new one for customers?

This last week at the store i work at they have brought in a new store manager. Normally this wouldnt be a problem, I worked at BK for 7 years and i worked under 12 different store managers. The problem is this new store manager got hired in from the outside, not promoted from within, and hasn't worked fast food in the last twenty years. I'm getting paid $0.25 over minimum wage to train my store manager how to work grill and registers while she is getting paid at least $25,000 a year salary. My assistant store managers get paid $12 an hour and one of them has been there since the late 80's.
I'm an assistant store manager trying to plan a fun people week, and I was hoping to get some ideas from crew. I obviously don't have a big budget, but if the idea rocks, I have no problem going put of pocket. I really want to celebrate my crew, and hope everyone will have a good time. Thanks for all the help!
