I just recently buyed TLOB and my bones and teeth only deal 1 dmg while my spells are just resisted. I have to deal ATLEAST 1 dmg EACH TURN while also defending myself. How the fuck am i supposed to beat this? i just restarted after dealing with this shithead for 30 minutes

I've been trying to unlock the next character for a while now, but I really HATE Bumbo the Nimble. I don't know how to use him and it's so frustrating. Can I have some tips on how to beat Chapter 1-2 so I can finally move on to the next character?

Anyone else have/had this issue? I’ll just be sitting here playing the game and then after maybe 10-30 minutes my whole pc will turn off. It has to be the game because this doesn’t happen with anything else. I’ve tried turn up my fans in case of heating issues, I’ve uninstalled/re-installed and turned down graphics settings. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I read it was an issue in the past and got fixed, but i just got the jackpot ending and the unlockables but no steam achivements. Is there a solution to this?

ETA: Using the Windfall mod fixes issues with the achievement manager object, and I was able to get this achievement thanks to the great help of /u/Shpim. To anyone who may see this thread in the future looking for answers on why their achievement(s) won't unlock: if you have been starting new runs by exiting old runs from the pause menu AND haven't been fully closing and relaunching the game between runs - try that! An alternate (and even better!) solution is to play the awesome Windfall mod by /u/Shpim. It adds a lot of QoL features, such as: a fix that properly allows achievements to be unlocked, a more clearly-defined enemy grid system, detailed tooltips, and also balance changes, the ability to watch cutscenes from the main menu, and more!

TL;DR: I have made the 7+ curse tile combo multiple times in trying to get the Mega Cursed! achievement, with and without achievement-bug-fixing mods, with and without enough HP to tank the curse damage, and I still can't get this stupid achievement. 10.8% of players have it according to Steam, and I can't get it despite meeting the criterion at least 4 times - what gives? I can provide a video of my most recent attempt if necessary, and/or a screenshot of the missing Steam achievement. Anyone know how to get this achievement in a way that won't put my Steam account at risk?

I picked this awesome game back up a few weeks ago, and I'm so close to 100% completing it. I have all of the achievements unlocked except for Mega Cursed! (Make a 7+ curse tile combo.), and what I've tried hasn't worked and it's really starting to get on my nerves.

To start, I have tried using the Achievement Resync mod during most of my attempts because I read that one of the updates to this game broke the achievement unlock system in some way or something like that. At one point, I tried to use the Windfall mod because I read that it fixed achievement unlock issues, but once I'm in a game in Windfall I can neither move any tiles around nor can I even exit to the main menu; I may later try Windfall again because it's possible that I installed it wrong or something.

My attempts have all been with Bum-bo the Empty.

I began restarting until I began with a spell that generated curses. On one of my attempts, I started with less than 2.5 HP, I got the 7-tile combo, and so it killed me. No achievement. Confused, I figured maybe you had to survive the combo to get the achievement. So, I made another attempt where I started with more than 2.5 HP, I got the 7-tile combo, and survived. No achievement. Confused even more, I figured that maybe the curse tiles had to spawn "organically" from enemies. I tried that today against P2 of Bygone, with only 2 HP, and the 7-tile combo killed me. No achievement. Far more confused (and irritated), I tried removing the Achievement Resync mod before trying again. On another attempt, I got the 7-tile combo (I had the Black Candle trinket to prevent damage from Curse). No achievement.

At this point, I'm just really running out of patience with this because I feel like I am being cheated out of my achievement. Am I just misunderstanding what to do to unlock it? Steam's global achievement stats page says that 10.8% of this game's players have this achievement, so I wonder if I'm just doing something wrong.

LOB on sale for $3 on GOG right now, I bought it and used the windfall mod along side it.

When I get the mom ending, the game black screens before the lottery machine scene. The achievement tracks on GOG but I haven't been able to unlock Bumbo the Dead even after beating the game with Bumbo the Weird a few times now.

Does anybody know of any fixes?

IS there any actual plans for The legend of bumbo I love the game but the last update was over 2 years ago. there is no work shop/ mods or anything and it is still a buggy mess. And from what I see on Edmund McMillen's tiktok they are all focusing on issac multiplayer and the cat game they are makeing. so does anyone know is there are plans for this game?

Rule 34 Thank fuck there is no rule34 of bumbo, I am suprised but also not suprised, there's porn of guppy from binding of issac taking a dildo, but no bumbo to be seen anywhere, i dont know why i am pointing this out, but my sanity is probably too low to explain it anymore, but thank fuck there is none I search out of curiosity but i beleive i have to take a while off the internet for a bit. fare well for approximately 1 and a half hours until i get curious about how nerf guns work

So I have unlocked the empty boi. Got an achievement and all, two coins in every character yet the guy is still locked as the closet. Has someone encountered this? Any ideas?
