What Makes The Hangar Different?
The Hangar is not your typical aircraft listing site, and we're not trying to replace them. Unlike other listing sites, the community here can upvote aircraft for sale they find to be an awesome deal, even if not exactly what they're looking for, helping to highlight the gems that are out there for others.
Further, The Hangar is the only listing site where prospective buyers and other interested pilots can talk directly and openly about the aircraft and with the seller. It's really all about community!
RULES:
- No Brokers - This community is for and by pilot-owners.
- Maximum Listing Price $500,000 - We're pilot owners, while we dream of owning that TBM or Cessna Mustang, sadly posting those here will just taunt at our dreams.
- Partnership/Share posts are allowed, but must be flaired "Partnership/Share" instead of other flairs.
- "Wanted" posts must include the "Looking to Buy" flair, and be specific about what the buyer is looking for. For instance, a specific make and model, production year, price for performance, etc.
- Follow the title formatting rules, violating posts will be removed.
- No repeat posts, unless the most recent post has been auto-archived by the system and is not editable.

Please be sure to properly flair your posts, and add your listing to the wiki. Keeping the titles consistent aids in search, and using the Wiki makes your listing available at a glance.

Remote switch
hello all! I just got a sump heater put on my Cessna 150. I’m looking for a way to remotely turn it on and off. It is hanging about 15 miles from where I live. I would like to be able to turn it on a couple of hours before I arrive , is there any recommendations on remote switches Bluetooth switches or any other good ideas any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Full Flight Simulator set up for Student Pilot, set up for Cessna 172
Hello.
Due to difficulty in obtaining a medical certification I'm giving up my dream of getting a pilot license and I'm selling the flight simulator I built to practice flying on. It's set up to train for a Cessna 172.

I’m selling a collection of pilot gear that I purchased about a year ago. At the time, I was preparing to enroll in pilot school and had gathered all the equipment I needed just a few weeks before starting. However, shortly after, I received the devastating news that my father was diagnosed with cancer, and I made the difficult decision to put my aviation journey on hold to focus on my family.

Partnership: Bucks County PA
Hi all! I am a ~700hr commercial pilot/CFI looking to form or buy into an existing partnership at KDYL, KTTN or similar local fields.
I've been part of several partnerships over my 10+ year flying career and owned 3 planes myself - all ranging from Cherokee's to 172's to Mooney's. Ideally I'd like to get into something fairly basic (Warrior/172) but open to a pretty wide range of options, honestly I'm more concerned about finding the right people and I believe the plane will be easy after that.

Bought this brand new from Bose in 2021 when I was flight training casually as a hobby. It went on maybe four flights before I had to take a pause, and have yet to resume. I’m an aspiring pilot currently studying for my ultralight pilot’s license, and I’m curious: if you were in the position to buy or sell an aircraft, what would be your first steps? Which platforms would you turn to? And what are the best markets (both physical and online) for these kinds of transactions?
I’d love to hear about your personal experiences, tips, or even success stories. Also, what are the most important factors to consider to avoid any surprises? And when it comes to valuations, how do you ensure you’re getting or paying the right price?

Lightspeed Zulu 3 Headsets (2)- Brand New in Boxes
I recently bought several pairs of Lightspeed Zulu 3 headsets for my airplane a few months ago. After I got them, I realized I didn’t need as many and kept two- one for me, one for my wife, and two for my kids. So I am selling two other brand new headsets that I just don’t need. I never even opened the boxes.
I paid $899 each for them. My loss is your gain. $750 each or $725 each if you take them both. Call it an even $25 for shipping. If it’s more, I’ll cover it.
Like I said- I never even opened the boxes so they are as new as you could get from Lightspeed.
