Probably asked before but curious. This upcoming tour will be #6 for me
Have always loved this song thanks to GH3, definitely playing more TFOT in the future!
Doppelganger East Coast Tour just announced! Who's going? I'll be in Florida either House of Blues or the Orpheum. Would love to connect with some other TFOT and hardcore fans down here!
Any TFOT fan musicians here in my state of FL? I can play just about anything, love TFOT as well as plenty of other hardcore and metalcore bands. I've also got a studio space, recording equipment, the whole nine. Would love to make some jams or even just cover some stuff locally. I'm in Jupiter FL, can travel.
Now that there's a playthrough he's posted, I can see a lot of where the tabs were all wrong so I'm gonna do a little recreation of what I can based on what he plays in the YouTube playthrough. It's mostly just the chorus riff everyone is all over the place on when it's actually pretty simple. Plus the intro, he's playing much further down the neck than everyone has tabbed it out as, not that that's wrong, they sound the same, notes are the same, just played differently on the neck at the nuances are different. More to come. Thanks for the positive reactions to my previous stuff, I'm just a hobbiest that loves super creative music, especially from "untrained" self taught musicians like myself.
I saw a few people talking about the tab books and being disappointed with Craig inaccuracies and I'm kinda wondering what exactly they're talking about? I own Manipulatot and Doppelganger and both seem plenty accurate to me, also considering there's many ways to play the same thing on the fret board. Maybe a note here or there sounds outta place because their timing is so wonky but I've been able to discern pretty much all of it with both books and they seem fine to me š¤·
