unfortunately, i realized that they were selling this a bit too late, and my size was already sold out :[. does anyone know if there will ever be a restock?
Any TDH songs the moms and dads on here sing to their children? I like to sing “His hand matched his tongue” to my daughter before I put her to bed. It’s one of my favorite songs. Looking for other ideas for lullaby songs for her
So this may be a hyper specific post, but it's one I'm genuinely curious about. I found out that while writing the story for the Indigo Child, Casey wrote about 260 pages. Obviously I don't want to see the story for the indigo child, since it's not released, so it'd just be spoilers, but it brought a question to my mind.
There has to be original documents or pages for the acts, right? Does anyone know if Casey has ever shared excerpts of these?
I ask because I'm writing my own story with the scope of the acts (huge inspiration from them too) and would love to see what Casey's process looked like if that's something he shared at some point. If that's never happened, that's alright, I'm just curious and had no idea where else to go to ask something like this :P
So I was listening to Migrant Returned today and I noticed something in the main guitar that sounded really familiar and I realized that Casey might be sampling the keys from Band on the Run from The Wings with the lead guitar in this song. If you listen to the intros of both songs back to back you can hear the keys from Band on the Run sound like the same progression as the lead on Shouting at the Rain even down to the oscillating notes at the end of the progression.

For the longest time it seemed like they refused to play Red Hands, but I saw the Halloween show in NYC and they played it!
It’s one of my favorite songs but I was really surprised to hear it. I guess I’m out of the loop…
What's the lore on this guy?
Hello, everyone! In light of recent events where some members of our community got scammed by a poster claiming to sell TDH merch, the mod team has decided to implement some new rules around merch sale posting.
In short, you will still be allowed to post merch sales, you will just need to follow a few steps:
We're very saddened that people in this wonderful community got taken advantage of by scammers. We hope that this new procedure will help make sure people can stay safe and feel confident that they are reaching out to a legitimate buyer whenever there are merch sales here from now on!
He's posted here four times today and it keeps getting deleted but it seems a few people fell for his scam already.
Here are a couple of the scam posts from today, for posterity
There were at least two others but I don't have the links now.
He's just reposting the images from the post below:
I’m a vocal/piano instructor and I’ve given one of my rehearsal groups But There’s Wolves and I was wondering if anyone had any tips for my male vocalist for those high notes during the verse, on the word “burn”. I’m a female vocalist and I’ve learned that there are some different ways that male and female vocalists approach certain techniques. So any tips would helpful. Thanks in advance!!
Edit: the way he’s approaching it now is belting but he’s tensing quite a bit when getting up to that note, so I guess I’m just wondering how to get him open up a little more and relax on those high notes
Jim here from opening band Redwood, back in freezing cold Blighty, reflecting on what an absolute whirlwind tour was.
Just wanted to hop on to say a huge thankyou to everyone that came down early for the shows over the past month and watched/listened to us play our music!
To everyone who then proceeded to help a little British band out by buying merch and talking to us after the shows, we could not be more grateful for the kindness and love you showed!
It meant the absolute world to us that TDH, once again, chose us to be their support band and took us on the road through America.
Both them and you (the most incredible music fans in the world) treated us with a love and appreciation that we have never felt before. Our hearts are so full.
I could go on (and I might at some point) but just know that you made us lads from the other side of the world incredibly happy and we can't wait to do it again soon.
All the love in the world.
Redwood x
No doubt this has been asked but - is there a release date for the live Act 3 from Pillar to be released as an album on Apple Music? And are there plans to do the same for Acts 4 and 5?
Here’s part 4 to my Dear Hunter explained series where I cover the stories and references hidden in each album. Act IV is what introduced me to TDH so this video was a ton of fun to make. Also, this one is feature length lol. Please check it out and thank you for all of the support!
Been seeing this trend going around with different bands and came over here surprised to see nobodies made a TDH one yet! So what are your picks?
I saw this in the Streetlight Manifesto sub and thought it was so fun.
Recorded the new song at the Portland show this last weekend ! Killer show, they picked some deep cuts too that I loved.
When you own the restaurant you get to be overriding DJ 😂
Just want to check because it’s been a couple weeks now and I haven’t received mine.
Pretty sure the singer(?) of this band was at the SF show. Reminded me of the album from back in the day.

i was the 16 year old that called out my mom in the bar haha, but on a more serious note i want to thank Casey and the band and all the crew for making a once in a life time experience come true i love this band with all my heart and cant wait to go see you guys more and everyone in the audience thank you for being there with me such a fun crowd! see you guys soon
Casey was saying last night in Seattle that if you hadn’t heard of Gatsbys American Dream before now, definitely listen to them. I hadn’t heard of them before this tour announcement and I jumped in to listen as soon as the openers were announced and I did indeed have gotten HOOKED on them, so shoutout to him for that. Volcano is one my favorite albums ever.
Portland & Seattle people, what did we think? They had a super energetic and fun set, the lead’s energy in particular was contagious, absolute hype time.
So, I was the one with the kids. My wife, and kids 5+8, the only kids in attendance except for backstage/family members. I just wanted to say thank you to Casey for pointing us out in the audience. My kids and my wife and I love you guys, and there was nothing that could stop us from seeing this show. We live on the olympic peninsula and we support our local bands. I've been listening since TREOS. I wanted to let you guys know that, we heard your message about tensions being high, and having a rough voice. I want to let you know that it's entirely NORMAL to hate your band-mates at the end of a tour, and for many people to be in rough shape. Also, your voice was impeccable and you totally rallied for a miracle show in Seattle that my kids, god willing, will remember forever. I personally view your music and live shows as a literal "church" for my children that shows them the depth of the universe and what IS possible with this world. Not only that, I am also a believer and I personally believe there IS a heaven above and you do NOT need to be afraid of it. GOD is with all of you, and whatever is going on, he will get you through it because HE, loves what you are doing, and loves each of you, no matter what happens. I hope and pray that we can see you again in the summer. Rock it guys! Keep up the incredible work!

I can't go, so have at it folks, two Seattle tickets here
I’ll be at the Seattle show tonight and I’m hoping to get there with time to snag a couple shirts to wear on gigs. Just wondering if the likelihood of a cleared out table is, thanks so much!
Finally a bucket list show I can check off (:
But boy it feels weird to get to plan to go to a show for fun instead of for work! (Video wall tech in live events)
If you see the green-haired girl crying in the crowd, no you didn’t 😂
Anytime else?
I was really happy with the sound mix. Vocals were front and clear.
I was about three people back from the rail; while initially bummed, I realized this gave me a fantastic view of facial features (versus being at the rail and essentially looking up their noses).
I have some great picks and video, but was demure about it as people were really great about NOT being on their phones the whole time.
Great crowd.
It’s near the end of the tour, and they sounded great.
While Casey was very thankful to the crowd, I’m so thankful for them, for sharing their talent and hard work with us. I’ve been a fan for something like 14+ years, ever since iTunes presented me with a “you might like” of Battesimo Del Fuoco. A few of those a capella notes in, and that voice had me hooked.
Can’t wait until next time.
