I feel like I don't know many people who think Faith is the best Cure album, I love Disintegration as a very close second but Faith just can't be beaten. The foggy forest and rain imagery is just perfection and the album is incredibly consistent. Seventeen Seconds tends to get a little more attention too, because of the amazing song A Forest, and Pornography gets a lot of attention for obvious reasons and I adore that album too (close third favorite). Then their poppier albums, like The Head on the Door (another INCREDIBLE flawless album), Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me (Amazing but a little too long), and Wish tend to get a lot more attention for their hits. But it's Faith, the album that a lot of people tend to not know, that always will hold the strongest place in my heart. The best songs are the perfect single Primary, the melancholic All Cats Are Grey, and one of the greatest songs of all time, The Funeral Party. As well as everything else too. I hope I'm not alone on this one.
When you listen to the title song, do you remember when the vocals start? Perhaps there’s some subtle cue? :)
Made a playlist of all album opening tracks just for fun :)

This song is so fulfilling to play.
Mine is The Walk. I don’t really get that song. Let’s Go to Bed was fun, but The Walk feels like a patchwork dress made of LGtB ripped apart for the lack of better ideas. I guess it might be an utterly unpopular opinion, but I’ve just spoken what I had on my mind for years.

A very happy birthday to Boris Williams!!
My favourite drummer from the Cure, no disrespect to Lol or Jason.
He doesn't say much but when he does, it's a gem!
robert sounds so in love and the lyrics are so cute like tell me how you dont melt when he says “dressed up to the eyes its a wonderful surprise to see your shoes and your spirits rise” and a couple of lines after that ITS ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE I LOVE THE CURE GUYS
Let the "This Is The Cure" playlist on Spotify play. Favorite songs are Lullaby, Fascination Street, Burn, Why Can't I Be You, and Let's Go to Bed. Listened to each on repeat! I'm excited to keep listening.
The band Mad Season has a song, “November Hotel,” that has a guitar riff that sounds really similar if not exactly the same to a riff in “Cut” or “From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea.” It’s from 5:46-5:52.
Am I crazy? It sounds like a total reference or homage to The Cure! Maybe you all know the exact Cure song I’m thinking of and can’t place!

Hey everyone! You might remember me talking about the book Stills by Paul Cox in the big long post I made about books about The Cure a couple months ago. It was originally a limited run of 1313 and was out of print. Thanks to Reddit user pahaprinsessa for letting me know it is going to receive a second publishing! I just pre-ordered it on Amazon. It's $45 and arrives on September 25th. Paul Cox took many iconic photos of the band, on par with Andy Vella and Tom Sheehan. The book spans 1980-1999. I'm so excited and wanted to share for anyone else who might be interested.
Personally I am excited about it and am so ready to try and 100% it :P
It's the last days of summer for me
This may be blasphemy to say, but the present day guitar duo of Reeves Gabrels & Robert Smith is the best in The Cure’s history. Pearl was absolutely a beast in the studio and songwriting duties, but having seen every tour since Disintegration (plus festivals), this past tour of the US was my favorite as far as the band lineup goes.

I’m recovering from a surgery and listening to Disintegration. It’s soothing my soul and is exactly what I need right now. What records ( The Cure or non Cure) soothe you when you’re in mental or physical pain?
Another day, another Cureiversary.... A couple actually!
Happy 28th birthday to The 13th! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Not liked by many Cure fans and I admit when I first heard it, I wasn't keen but it became an earworm and I would find myself singing it randomly (no you're not having evidence....) and now I love it 💜
Nice little interview with Robert... what a lovely smile 😊.
The video was filmed at Bow Street Studios in London.
And it feels GOOD!
Just heard this song for the first time tonight and I can’t even explain how much I love it.
