The Beatles were an English rock group from 1960-1970. Their influence on the world and today's music is incredible. This subreddit is for discussion, news, memorabilia, and/ or anything else relating to the group. :)

Outside of the Sgt Pepper outfits, this was a pretty accurate recreation!
I also have the real love and free as a bird singles on CD coming
I remember when I was little my brother and sisters had Nintendo ds with flip notes and there was one on it that had a beatles song i think. I've tried searching for it but can't remember it, all I remember about it is there was a harmonica(?) Them saying "ooo" and I think the lyrics "I feel fine." I would love to find the song and close the memory that's been gnawing at the back of my mind for a few years now lol
Professor Paul DuBay engaged my services a few years ago to perform testing on pre-1966 and post-1966. Here are the songs I used and a link to the story.
Hi I’m a 13 year old Beatles fan in Italy and I was wondering since here is the 31 October and I can’t find Midas man on Amazon prime video and I was wondering is it going to come out in Italy? Please tell me, I want to see it with my girlfriend that I made a Beatles fan too
What’s your favourite spooky thing related to the Beatles?
For me, it’s the Paul is dead rumour. I don’t believe it personally, but I can’t help but scare myself listening to the “clues” and watching iamaphoneys the winged Beatle around this time.
I remember hearing Real Love reversed for the first time; nearly crapped myself hearing “Paul we used to sing with you.” and it had ten year old me convinced the rumour was true 😆
Wondering if anyone can help me, someone is offering £50 for the Beatles box vinyl unused but idk much about it. Are any of the songs different mixes or sound different to the other versions?
It took me so fuckin long to do this 😭
Nowhere Boy (2009) Covers John Lennon’s early days in Liverpool and meeting Paul etc. messy family life, and figuring out music. Basically, Lennon before he got famous, ends with John departing to Germany with a small mention of Stu Sutcliffe at the end.
Backbeat (1994) Covers The Beatles’ Hamburg days and picks up right from when Nowhere Boy ends as the band is about to go to Hamburg to try and make it big. focusing on the band’s pre-fame lineup with Stu and Pete, ends with Stu’s death and even has a scene where they hang out with a young pre fame Ringo while on a break from a performance, albeit he doesn’t even have a speaking role.
Midas Man (2024)
Just came out, focuses on Brian Epstein as he meets the Beatles and makes the careers, a lot of the movie takes place right after the end of Backbeat, after Germany as their careers start to pick up and lasts up until the one world broadcast, albeit it, if glosses over too much imo.
Midas is probably the weakest of these
Rain is superior, Paperback Writer has some amazing guitars by Paul but Rain is just Rain, is the first show off on what Revolver will be all about and the lyrics are just a trippy experience, if these songs were featured on Revolver, The John Vs Paul battle on who composed the best track would be even sharper, like, Revólver is truly the album those two are tied on who writed the best track, John has: Tomorrow Never Knows/I'm Only Sleeping/She Said She Said & Paul has: Eleanor Rigby/Here, There And Everywhere/For No One, but I guess if those songs were put, John would have won the battle(in previous battles of these, She Said She Said lost to For No One and Here, There And Everywhere lost to I'm Only Sleeping, Tomorrow Never Knows and Eleanor Rigby would probably be an even tougher competition, but would probably be a Tie), now between Rain and Paperback Writer, idk man, John maybe was lazier at the time, but his Revolver Era was showing what we're gonna have of him on White, if in Rubber Soul his lyrics were something else to be worried on how tf he was doing internally, the world couldn't wait to see to what more darker and grim territories he would cross with his lyrics.
Is I Am Sam a Beatles film? If not, what's with the associations with the band?
If you've never read it, the story of the Beatles' second album on Capitol in the U.S. by one of the era's great writers is a fascinating tale. It was my second Beatles album (Introducing the Beatles on VeeJay was my first) but it immediately became my favorite. It was years later that I became aware of the differences between British and American releases and decades later that I came across this wild account of how this gem of an LP emerged from tensions between Capitol and EMI. Highly recommended if you haven't come across it. If you have read it, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Imagine a world where The Beatles released one album per year. Their albums usually contained 14 songs. What would their albums have looked like if they only released 1 album per year?
I have curated a Yearly Beatles Fan Album for each year The Beatles were active. These albums will contain 14 songs that were released in that given year.
The albums will all have 2 George songs and one Ringo song as that was the tradition on most Beatles albums. I will add two bonus tracks or “wild card” tracks to each album. Many times, these will be singles, B sides, outtakes or unreleased songs.
I am not stating that these are the 14 “best” songs. I avoid that at all costs. These are albums that I would like to hear containing songs I would enjoy, given the frame I created for the albums. They worked for me, I hope they do for you. Maybe you’ll be inspired to create your own albums. If you do, share them here!
My goal is to, in some way, reproduce the experience of listening to an album in the “old school” way…drop the needle and play!
The Beatles recorded 33 songs in 1964.

I had it on KCT when I was a kid around 88, 89 but I lost it, I didn't know it was a Mexican-made album and I think it's hard to find, the audio isn't very good, they're live recordings, but I've been looking for it for a long time and I haven't been able to find it, does anyone have it and can share it or know if it can be downloaded somewhere? Thank you very much.
Hello, do you know any place where I can download audio and bootleg albums?
