Anyone noticed a higher than normal number of seals washed up this year? Obviously after the heavy weather these last few days the beach was covered in the normal dog fish, bits and bobs. But the adolescent seal at Dumpton Gap this morning was in a proper sorry state. Head gone, fins and flippers all ripped off. Real sad.

FFS... WFH and Virgin down all night and still off now.

It's not like it's just for me either as I would accept it taking a bit of time but an entire area down you would hope would be a priority!

I’m (f24) super super fucking lonely, and it makes me so miserable. I have a great life pretty much otherwise. I’ve managed to get onto the property ladder, I have a loving boyfriend and family, a great job, but fuck me if I’m not the loneliest person ever.

I literally only have one friend who lives in Brighton. I see her maybe once a year. Other than that the only people I talk to are my boyfriend, colleagues, and family. I wish so badly that I had a friend who I could just chill with, play chess or Mario kart with or some shit like that. I pretty much never leave my place and my boyfriend works nights so every night I’m just lonely as fuck with my cat.

I just get so in my head about things as well, like I’m overweight af also and can never seem to do anything about that no matter how hard I try, and that also makes me feel like no one would want to be my friend anyway because I’m so gross. Then there’s the fact that my bf probably wouldn’t be over the moon if I got a new male friend so that limits me to just making friends with girls which I have always found difficult (again probably due to my own body image issues).

Bf has a group of friends he gets on PS4 with some evenings and they invite him out to spoons for lads nights and I just get so jealous. I don’t want to invite myself or make him feel bad for going, but what I would give for a friend or even some friends to go out to spoons with or do some sort of hobby with and just to feel included. Fuck sake.

Be careful if your elderly loved one is being “looked after” by a woman in her 40s/50s named Janice. Blonde hair and slim. She is a predator and robbed so many of my late grandmothers belongings in her last few years. She earns trust to the point she gets left money in wills. She is a home helper. I hope this post is consistent with the rules of the subreddit.

Gaming is a social activity.  Something you do to relax, unwind and take your mind off the real world.  This activity is always made better when you can do it with like-minded individuals. 

We are local gamers, based in Kent in the south east of England.  After graduating University and entering the "real world", we noticed it became very difficult to co-ordinate and find times to play games with our friends.  So, we decided to do something about it.

Introducing our new discord server, Memin' and Dreamin'.  We created this for a place for local gamers to play together, have fun and potentially organise Local LAN parties and social events.  We're looking for gamers based in the UK to bolster our numbers and have fun with us.
