I tried signing up for internships but is it only for the business school?
Howdy Red Raiders (and anyone else who snuck in).
Trying to form a new group, Reformed Baptist Fellowship. This one has informal meeting times (we meet whenever, really) but have well defined beliefs (hence the name). This group is basically a traditional church group but without the mandatory buildings and Sunday services. This group is catered to those finding it hard to make time for fellowship or are skeptical / distrustful of the church situation.
Everyone's welcome of course, but all will be challenged to conform to the Bible.
If you got questions, I'll try to answer them promptly and truthfully (I'm Mechanical Engineering, so it may take a bit of time...)
The group's on GroupMe: https://groupme.com/join_group/102417643/P80GyxRt
Other social media outlets will be made in over time, depending on outreach needs and group size and prominence.
Welcome to the group!
So I just got an email from The Bloc saying they changed the lease and I agree to it??(I didn't) They reduced the utility cap, meaning we have to pay more now. I never agreed to anything. I thought once you signed the lease no one can change it. Is this allowed?
(Ps. My lease says utility cap is $30)
I know there's some hoopla about Microsoft stuff not working for a lot of people. Anyone else having problems even getting to the webworks site?
...at least not without a good Texas Tech version also existing. I'm looking for a fellow Red Raider to create an image (a meme, if you will), in which the Masked Rider is thundering down the field on Moo Deng. I am an ancient alumnus who is not technologically inclined enough to do so myself. You can even watermark it with your username (or whatever) to give credit where it's due.
I’m a freshman engineering major and after struggling with some personal issues I wasn’t able to go to class for about 2 weeks. I feel like I’m incredibly behind and demotivated to do work and get ahead of my own personal issues, I just wanted to know if it’s still possible for me to pass this year because I’m really worried I won’t make it and I’m just trying my hardest since I’ve come here. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated

I’m locked out of all school Microsoft stuff. I assume it’s related to the UMC/TTUHSC ransomware attack, but I’m not affiliated with either of those. Anybody else having issues?
I heard there was a fire in Murdoch last night, does anybody have and info about it?
BACKGROUND YAP:
I am willing to apply for TTU for fall 2025. I have few reasons to go there so the major is not my priority. That being said majors are also important and I believe it does carve a path for us in our career and occupation. Now , if i think about what I wanna go for as a career I still don't have answers. But, I feel pretty comfortable about anything related with Maths and Computer science. I do have good command on Python and know how Java and C++ works. I am currently trying to learn how R works too. Knowing my comfort zone I was willing to major in Computer Science. As I know even after the huge traffic going for CS the career options for it is vast and I am willing to go for it whatever it takes. But, the problem is I also wanna go for Maths. It has been my comfort zone even before I knew any programming language. So I was researching if there was a dual program for Maths and CS in TTU and I found it does have it. One more thing to add I am very new to states (6 months)
SKIP TO THIS IF Y'ALL DON'T WANT THE YAP:
I found that under the College of Arts and Sciences TTU offers a dual program for Mathematics and Computer Science. I have seen mix reviews about the Computer Science program. But all of them are from couple of years ago. And I am kind of worried about what actually is going on there. I have heard people saying that I have to work out of school and learn a lot by myself. I am willing to do it, as long as the Maths program is good enough. All I want to know now is what I may go through. Also any other advice will also be great.
I do not have concerns about moving there or anything else other than the major. Also sorry my English isn't good yet.
Thanks in advance.
How do you get to the Atrium in the Humanities Building?

Heyaaa y’all!! I need some guidance of how to apply for as transfer student?? All the university are not in common app so what should i do and how long will it take?
Hello, I’ve been looking to transfer but I had some issues with other colleges looking at my transcript for nursing. I don’t know if Texas tech’s nursing program has a limit on retake policy because tbh I’m coming from Baylor that transferred to a community college this fall semester. I had an issue with A&P 2401 back at Baylor and they only had one professor which was very unfortunate and he really wasn’t that great. I have 3 total attempts on A&P 2401 and it went like this, first at Baylor, second during the summer at community college (passed with a B), than had to take it again back at Baylor which didn’t go well again with that professor. That is like 3 total attempts. After transferring out I’ve completed Microbio and A&P 2402 with an A in both. As for most other pre reqs I’ve had no issues with those and passed. But I just don’t know if I have the chance to transfer in with my transcripts looking like I’ve took A&P 2401 three times despite having passed with a B in between the two Baylor attempts.
Any one got any idea about this?? I mean my friends are planning to go by car and it's costing around 150$ per person is it worth going to it??
in graduating this December and am looking to take my pics asap, if you’re a photographer send me your info like pricing, if you have a website, any outfit change specifics i’m flexible!! i’m also open to any level if you have a camera and are just getting started i’m happy to be your test dummy!
Freshmen, first semester currently, taking chem + lab, calc 3, bio design, seminar, and gov. Should’ve taken one more class but advisors prevented me but it is what it is. Looking for advice for next semesters schedule. I’m definitely taking ethics and computational thinking, both prolly online, math 3350 (high engr math), and thermo cause it seems fun and I wanna get ahead. So that’s 12 hours so I need a lil more. Choices are:
ME 2301 (statics)
ECE (gen electrical engr)
ME 2207 (design graphics)
Not sure if they would let me do ME 3311 (material science) or math 3342 (stats) since they’re both junior level classes and I technically will still be in the foundational engineering thing.
Let me know what you think about this schedule, which class/classes should I add to my current plan, any criticism or tips. I appreciate all feedback.
Wondering if there is a casual volleyball scene on campus. Haven't played very much in the past but always enjoyed it. no preference between sand or indoor.
How has Red Raider Outfitter or anybody haven't made a Frisbee tortilla themed.
I’m just trying to get out more but I dont really know what’s out there so give me some ideas! I’m open to anything!
Hi everyone! I’m an international student, and I recently got an offer from both txst and ttu for cs. At txst I got a full tuition scholarship whereas I only got a 4k scholarship from ttu which means I need to pay 8k on tuition alone. Money is scarce but if I take on a job it is manageable. So now I’m at a crossroad where idk if I should join txst or ttu. Please help me. It would be really helpful if you could mention about internships, research opportunities, and the courses at both unis. Where should I go???
Hi everyone, I have a midterm for this class coming up, and I'm a bit concerned about the exam since Rasty doesn’t have the best reputation when it comes to his test format (at least from what I’ve heard). If anyone has taken Solids with Rasty before, could you let me know how his exams are and if they’re really as tough as other students say? Thanks!
TTUHSC student here. Anyone else still unable to access literally everything for their classes? I’m getting texts about it but I can’t even contact people in my classes or my profs. ):
Got a parking citation for parking in my resident parking space. Permit is paid and everything so… how likely will my appeal pass? Also does the citation show up on my background check for jobs?
I am planning on visiting uncle in Los Angeles for a month during holidays between December and January.
Does anyone know any tips or tricks to book cheap flight tickets??
hey all! I was wondering if anyone had this issue, or could point me in the right direction in solving it. When i try and connect my computer to the school wifi it doesnt work and gives a bad DNS error. Is the school wifi not working for anyone else?
If so, how did you do it? I'm confused. I got to talk about how I met the three objectives below.
1, Demonstrate advanced critical thinking skills when analyzing sport management issues and the ability to make applications of sport management knowledge.
Critically analyze sport management scholarship and case studies and demonstrate practical conclusions in sport management settings.
Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to apply sport leadership and management theories and practices in sport-based projects and understand their application in sport management settings.
i know we get into home games for free but do we have to buy tickets for away games? i’m going to the tcu one
Hello, do you have any suggestion for a dental visit when I have no dental insurance?
