A place for conservative Texans.
Come to discuss local, state, and federal politics of interest to Texans.
Feel free to post links, stories, questions, discussions, etc that are of interest to those on the right.
Code of Conduct:
Keep it civil. Enthusiastic debate is encouraged, and this is a trigger-warning/SJW free zone, but please do not stoop to name-calling and other boorish behavior.
Posts should be related to the great State of Texas or discuss conservative politics that impact conservative Texans in some way.
This is a site by and for conservatives, libertarians, republicans, and anyone else that is more on the right side of the political spectrum.
While we're not an SJW haven, please do not engage in racism, misogyny, anti-semitism or identitarian politics.

WTF is going on with the “Texas” Reddit thread? Why is it filled with liberals?! had me feeling like pre-elon twitter 🤢
https://www.yahoo.com/news/sanctuary-city-sending-thousands-migrants-220406997.html
"New York City is buying tickets for thousands of migrants to travel to Texas via bus or plane, from where many of them originally traveled to the sanctuary city in the first place, amid an ongoing battle between officials over how to handle the migrant crisis."
Sounds to me like the State Troopers and Texas State Guard need to be on hand to stop the buses at the border, or the illegals at the airport and refuse their entry into Texas.
It seems like 90% of the time when someone says "go vote" they really mean "vote Democrat." I'm in Texas. Go to the Texas sub (which is really "Texas communist" sub) or any of the major city pages and they're all excited about "go vote." It's like "go vote" is a dog whistle to remind them to do it because otherwise they'll get high and forget. But tell them you voted red and they will eviscerate you.
That said, go vote... How you feel is right (and I hope we agree on that.)
And remember, no candidate gear is allowed in polling locations. You'll hafta cover or remove it.
I love this commercial and I think if Hillary hadn't done this.. Kamala would have her "Why aren't I 50 points ahead" moment
A day ago Harris made a campaign stop in Texas and it packed around 30k people just to see Beyoncé. After she left people in the background started to leave and some stayed to chant “Donald Trump!, Donald Trump! Donald Trump!” And with the dumbest response she could come up with she only says “well you can go to the rally down the street”
They claim that this was posted in San Marcos. Frankly how closely it follows the lefts narrative on how Republicans wanted to do this. There is no way this is real
Come out and vote
Today I voted for the first time (28M) and I voted for Trump/Vance, Ted Cruz and all republican candidates in Harris County (sadly because I know there’s mostly brainwashed libbys living here) But I did my part of early voting. Anyone else here voted?? #KeepTexasRed!
Holy crap it’s a cesspool
Is anyone watching the debate?
Cruz is doing great. Does well actually referring the bills he's talking about.
I’ve noticed an influx of people complaining about, leaving, and getting banned from r/texas. I would like to invite y’all to r/actuallytexas ! I created the sub after I was banned from r/Texas for saying it was too political and left leaning, I aim for r/actuallytexas to be an inclusive community where we actually discuss Texas and not just leftist politics! Please feel free to join us. 😁(btw MODs I messaged y’all about this and never heard a response back, if you aren’t okay with the promo feel free to take this down!)
I wondered why it got so bad but mods basically perma ban anything conservative. It was bad before but they’ve gone off the deep end
