Hello Fellow Texans! I’m located in north Texas, just shy of the red river! Looking for some insight/help on the venture of a startup of a small business. I know Texas economics have proven that obviously we are the best state to start a business. That is what led me to Recycling. We have no place local(within 100+ miles) to recycle, process, sort materials so it goes to the landfield. I’ve been in the waste disposal since 2016 so I see it first hand! Seeing all this recyclables go to landfields is gut wrenching. In hopes to see a greener future , this is the step i want to take. Any volunteers?
Super Dave Quinn sits down with Amy Story in Boerne, TX to discuss what a local Economic Developer does and how they help business owners connect to resources.
What has been your experience obtaining the SBA flood assistance? Do you need help still and what is the current status? Furthermore, who helps you with funding and are you able to cope with business costs?
I don't believe im required to do this for 2024 but just looking for confirmation. I filed a Texas LLC on January 5, 2024. Do I need to do anything for franchise tax this year?
I’m filling out an assumed name form and it’s asking for the period of use. Should I apply for the full ten years and does the length affect the price to file?
I'm sick and tired of Facebook group Nazi admins. Also sick of getting my listings removed from Facebook market place. I found an alternative called https://haggletexas.com was wondering if anyone else has seen this yet or used it?

Hi, is it okay if I introduce myself? I'm a USAF Veteran. I served 6 years. I was a cryptologic linguist Chinese Mandarin. I lived in Japan with my real live Japanese samurai princess for a couple years. Recently funded a startup from $0 to exit at almost $1bb in 18 months. Just funded a startup oilfield company with one customer $500k a month to start and now over $2.5mm a month because I introduced him to a huge new customer to help him grow. Our family's small family office has funded thousands of companies and billions of dollars in the last 33 years. Know any B2B startups who need the right funds at the right time no equity off balance sheet? I'm buying privately held tightly held off-market B2B companies in Tx. Know anyone selling? We are buying B2B companies like oilfield services companies and IT companies and staffing companies and manufacturing companies. We like 5 million to 75 million dollar revenue privately held tightly held companies where the seller is older than 55 and wants to retire. We don't like anything from California nor New York . And we're not interested in anything outside of the USA.
● Business-to-business - not consumer ● Privately-held, tightly-held ● Little or no debt ● No hair (law suits, liens, etc.) ● 100% purchase ● Downpayment and Earnout ● Typically older sellers who want to retire and understand the current market ● No California nor New York (High regulation/tax states hard) ● USA Only ● IT services, Staffing services, Oilfield services, and manufacturing, etc. ● $5MM to $75MM in revenue ● OFF-MARKET
Does anyone/has anyone used an energy broker to get them set up with an energy contract? What has been your experience? What qualifications do you look for? And where can you find a good one?
I’ve had an ein in the past and it was free. I’m trying to start my baking business back up and they’re charging $279. Why is that? They’ve always been free.
