Me and my fiance have been looking for a lap dog preferably a chihuahua that wont get bigger then 5 pounds but any small dog would do :)
Are there any hair stylists in Texarkana or surrounding area that specialize in men’s haircuts and beard trims?
Hello there I am a 51 S/W/M looking for a female to have great conversation with on a deep level... and possibly go further... Nothing perverted. I did start a group of singles on reddit... Maybe share some good stories... (Texarkana singles)
I'm visiting Texarkana/Genoa AR community from Florida the middle of December to meet my partner's family. Anything I should be made aware of?
Batten down the hatches. They're here.
I plan on opening a new game store here in Texarkana but Meeple city and Excalibur have a good hold on that part of tk where would be best spot for a new game store
Hi! For anyone unaware: This is a part of Texas that was originally one of the rat capitals (and not in the good way) so I'm struggling to find a pet sitter. This is the first time I'll be leaving for more than a day out of state due to surgical complications that I need long term care for (1 month recovery for severe carpel tunnel). I am unable to take my rats on the plane nor does my caretaker have the ability to care for the rats (2) because he has 2 pet kittens.
I can't drop them off at a pet store for relocation/rehoming because I cannot drive the 2 hours to Dallas to my friend who does own rats. I do not own a car and it is illegal for me to drive plus the amtrak already said no rats even if they're in a carrier & I pay the cat fee sad face.
Rats, even domestic, are not considered pets here. I moved with them from NY via friends car and uh, I didn't expect them to live 4 years as they were feeders I got while on a bender 😅 (Ever woken up with no memory and suddenly animals in your hive? I'm recovered now but geez- that was Insane. Shout out to my rats for forcing me to stay clean!)
I mainly just need someone to feed / clean them as their cage is rated for 4 rats according the calculator. I was planning on budgeting around $70 a week but I'm not sure if that's enough for the following: 1x daily check in for food / water (15m-30m) 2x a week cleanings (30m each so 1 h a week)
Living wage here is $15.50 per hour but standard wage is $8-$10.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Made a private community, if anyone is interested . . .
Hello? My husband is starting up his new company in TXK. We created a Fb page called TXK Pro Carpentry & Construction. How many people in the area do you know that's needing some work done on their house? He can do electrical, plumbing, paint, remodel and more.
Looking for a good therapist in the area. It's probably past time to talk to someone about some stuff but I'm really hesitant to try. Who have you had success with?
Hi! I just moved from Japan to here! Trying to find someone who’s willing to study the Japanese language even mandarin, I made a fb group called Texarkana Japanese study feel free to join! I’m thinking about holding study corner too!
I’ve inherited my father’s coin collection and am somewhat lost. I have questions and looking for someone with the answers. I mean about the coins and not my Dad’s death.
As the title says. My husband is retiring next year in June after 21 years in the Air Force and he keeps saying Texarkana is on his mind as a possibility. We're looking for a small to mid size town. He's worked logistics his entire career and has a Master's degree. Is the job market okay? How is crime there? Are the schools decent? We have a high schooler and a middle schooler. Any areas around Texarkana that are good? We don't mind commutes up to like 30 mins or so.
I read previous posts, but they are all older and I was hoping for anything updated. So sorry for the excessive questions. We've just always lived where the military told us to and we kind of just adapted to it. Everywhere we've lived the schools were abysmal (like Las Vegas, and Clovis NM were just AWFUL) Now, we have a choice and it's so stressful. TIA for any info!!
I’m in town for a bit working so wanted to ask the locals where all the good restaurants are. I literally love anything. Bbq to Indian to breakfast cafes. Lay em on me. Just got to town and I’m starving.
Hey reddit, I'm heading to texarkana to work at the Red River Army base in 2 weeks. I'll be there for quite a while. 1.5 years minimum. Probably longer because there's tons of USACE jobs in that base going out for bid in the near future.
I'll be living in my travel trailer. I see that there are a pretty good number of campgrounds in the area....
Which one(s) have you been to? Which ones do you like? Which ones did you hate?
Also, who has the best BBQ in town?
Thanks!
I live outside of Texarkana and work as a custodian at a high school. It's no good and its time to change.Did y'all physically go to an establishment or is the Internet the way to find work these days? Also anyone know who is hiring? Thanks for any tips.
Does anybody have verizon home internet and if so how is it?? Getting rid of kinetic because the service is awful and I can bundle verizon with my phone service. Kinetic goes on and off too much and lags terribly. Is verizon any better???
If I pay someone what Lyft quoted can someone come pick me and my fiance up and take us to smackover AR, Lyft quoted $160.50.
Is there someone in Texarkana that can accept my Lyft I've been waiting for damn near an hour now.
I am 19M coming from Perth Australia and I am going to visit family for a month in Texarkana with my dad who is going to let me do whatever I want. What is there to do I will obviously be visiting the city centre or downtown as it is called for it is the soul of every city.
I'll be in Texarkana for work in a few weeks and have a love for karaoke but have never been able to find a place to sing!!!! Haha
We are considering a move to the area and the education environment is highly important for us. We have a 10-year-old high functioning autistic child (level 2). Would be interested in hearing from other parents with special needs students how their experience with the schools have been.
Are there any good spots where a mid-30's guy can go Swimming for an afternoon and not seem weird. Preferably outside. I can't afford a pool.
Mechanics and Personal trainers please DM me.
