It's a shame that they have just embarked on the FANTASIAN promotion but, I believe that Sakaguchi Hasn't forgotten this game so, maybe, after launch Date to next October 8th, We will be able to see our dream come true.

as the title says has anyone seen any games on ios that have art similar to terra battles. The art was one of my favorite parts of the game and i've been missing it.

Hello guys, former Terra Battle player here. I really had a nostalgia hit from this game and I was looking to read its story again, however I can't find any Youtube list that has all the story recorded... Do you guys have any source I can read the whole story? Plain text is okay but i'd rather use a whole youtube playlist if someone has one. Thanks in advance

Is there anything new ? Anything that would allow us to play this game again ?

Terra Battle is one of the very few games I really liked on phone and I keep thinking about it's atmosphere too often. I want to play it again.

Did someone managed, as it happens in the retrogaming / console community, to find a way to play it again ?

I got the apk, just to learn about all the server side stuff. No reverse engenering ? No community server so far ? Do you know if someone is working on it ? Trying to emulate a server side, or whatsoever ?

Should it be like Honkai/Persona/Fire Emblem.. so you explore the world like those games but when you get into a battle it turns into a Terra Battle etc etc?

Why hasnt anyone made a clone of this game i see so many other games getting clones but fuu i love this game wanna play it again

TB1 was so fuckin good man. The grind and gotcha features didin't feel tedious, all the art was captivating, everything, from the writing, the atmosphere, the characters... and the gameplay. I felt like a genius making strats.

I need THIS game back. I don't want a clone, I just want to go through TB1 again, and finish it.

The idea behind TB2 was great, but I didin't play it enough time to fall in love with it.

Man... I don't know if it's the nostalgia, but everytime I see some content about this game, it hurts in my heart that I can't play it anymore.

I was on a really dark place back in the day, and this game helped me went through it.

Is there even a way to play it now and progress in a reasonable way?

Next step is improving the board/fixing issues 👍

The game friends and dragons has been advertised to me. It seems to the terra battle mechanics. But with a different art style and more “mobile free to play” ish

I think that was one of my fav character designs. Damn, I miss this game still.

Hi Reddit !

As a huge Terra Battle enjoyer, i was, like you, very sad to see it shut down years ago. I kept telling myself that someone would put an offline version somewhere, or just copy the gameplay and do another game. But since it didn't happen in years, i though to myself, as a few creators who tried, it's my time to try.

A few important things that i need to say beforehand :
-I am not aiming at redoing Terra Battle. I'm trying to recreate a similar game with 95% exact same gameplay, with 100% new story, arts, music, and a few improvements.

-There is no promess that we're going to make it happen, but right now, we're doing well and it's very nice to see each talent put a stone on this project. Just don't keep your hopes too high, as we're going to try until we get grow tired of this project (i hope it won't happen at all).

-Currently, there's me directing a volunteering team, writing story and stuff, a developer, working on the code, and an artist who has started drawing a first character. We're doing this for free and as a side-project to our daily life.

There are a few reason why i posted here today, we are currently looking for 2 things :

1. A place where i could post polls on some gameplay, because i want to know the inputs of players that did like and miss the OG TerraBattle. I thought of the TerraBattle discord, but maybe you could help me think of other places for this ?

2. Artists. There is a huge, huge amount of characters, weapons and background to draw. Feel free to dm me if you would like to help, but keep in mind that we cannot pay you in any way, and we have a pretty good idea of the art, drawing style, and lore.

So a friend sent me this. The translation (from japanese to spanish and from there to english) is: Oh~ Is it Terra Battle's ninth anniversary? Has it been so long already? Next year will be the tenth anniversary. Will you make a PC version too? Hahaha

Here's to hoping for some more news about. If it does happen, oh lord, yes! If it's just a joke, I'll just have to cry lol

If anyone's still looking for a Terra Battle replacement, you might want to check out Friends and Dragons. It's another gatcha with a more generic-fantasy setting, but it has similar movement/placement mechanics in battle; you've got a collection of gatcha characters placed on the grid, and you can grab them and push them around like you used to with Terra Battle units, and after every turn each of your characters attacks or heals in a specific pattern based on their type.

For me, the otherworldly Terra Battle setting and presentation was big part of the experience, but F&D might scratch the itch if you're looking for something with similar gameplay.
