Elrond when Isildur fled

Current mood.

I was inspired by this: https://www.reddit.com/r/lordoftherings/comments/1gl07l4/i_offer_no_context/

I didn't want to take credit for it by myself.

Other characters and that First Contact...

I just had a stray thought about the Tamarian First Contact. How would it have gone with other characters in charge (not just from Trek)?

What prompted me to ask is that reading a Tenagra thread my mind wandered to Farscape. John Crichton annoyed me because almost seemed to talk exclusively in Pop Culture references to begin with... so I wondered... how would that contact go? Probably better than the one he had with the "crew" of Moya

Edit:

"Karno, his mind was fogged"

"Yeah, buddy, Scooby asking what here too..."

"Shaka, when the walls fell"

"I agree, some days you're Dick Dastardly, but cheer up, other days you're the pigeon."

"Brian on the cross"

"Hey, well done buddy, good one, guess I am..."

Cavill, on the Witcher set

Alternatively, "Ortega, on the Wednesday set".

When the showrunners are adapting a literary series or character for film or TV, but are deviating from the source material so strongly that it prompts the lead actors to force rewrites on the fly or else quit the production in a very public way.
