My husband and I are staying in Tempe for two nights (then Sedona for 2 nights) to celebrate our anniversary 😊 We are early 30s and from a small town in WI with nothing to do. We love iced lattes, dive bars, awesome food, cool people, pretty views, my husband likes golfing… what would you do all day tomorrow if you were us?! We purposely didn’t make any concrete plans for vacation so we could go off vibes, but now we have no plans and don’t want to drag our feet and waste a day of vacation 🤣
Hello I'll be voting on the 5th in person. I'm looking for recommendations on where I can do that that won't be really busy. I want to try to take as little time as possible
1BR / 1Ba 540ft^(2) available now

I already scrolled through the sub for historic references, but the last post made about this was over a year ago so checking to see if anyone has other recommendations!
Hello! I’m searching for in-home daycares. Hopefully in Tempe, south Scottsdale, east Mesa, or north chandler. I have looked through ADHS and have also asked on Nextdoor. My husband and I are newish to the valley so we don’t really know too many people/parents to ask. And leads would be greatly appreciated!
Looking into the Halloween costume party at the Skysill Rooftop Lounge. Is it 21+ or 18+ or all ages? Can't find the age limit info online.
Hey there Tempe residents!!!
I’m coming out there next week for a conference and it will be my first time in the area.
Does anyone have recommendations for food in the area that I can’t leave without trying? Can anyone also recommend lowkey bars where you can hang and chat with people?
Coming by myself so I’d love any and all recommendations!!!!
Thanks in advance.
A few months ago, I got some free beer from a buy nothing FB group, and the admins shut down the post right after I claimed it because FB doesn't let you disburse alcohol that way.
No one drank the beer (it's a local brewery, and none of my friends were familiar with it), and I don't expect anyone is going to drink this in the next year. I have a lot of cans to get rid of, but I don't know how to give away beer locally while still following rules. I don't want to post it on FB Marketplace & get my account banned. I'm on Nextdoor, too, but I assume the rules are the same there.
Does anyone know of any local resources for this kind of thing? Is there an organization I can contact that holds events that might need canned beer?
International graduate student here. I've only heard about the game but never played it before. Really would like to know how the game works and maybe play it with a group of ppl who can explain?
Any ongoing games with a couple of free spots?
I did a run today in my neighborhood in Tempe (near College/Southern). It surprised me that despite Tempe being so mature (in development), there were hardly any trees, or shaded paths on most streets.
Any runners in this community that might know any running routes with shade in Tempe.
Central Phoenix has some great ones like Murphy Bridle Path, but they are quite a drive.
Got rear ended and im hoping this company van had a dash cam because the driver that hit me drove off
I’m looking for someone to take over my lease at the Carmin, I live alone and it’s two bedrooms, I can pay 25%. If you can get the other 75 hit me up if you’re interested.
UPDATE: It was found! And the thieves apprehended! I feel so incredibly lucky because this could have gone very differently.
Unfortunately Pichu is gone. RIP. The car has no damage. It just reeks of smoke and I need to throw out the seat covers bc there was definitely nasty stuff going on in there.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to look into this!
A long shot but any sightings would be amazing.
Silver 2017 Honda CR-V
Stolen from my parking lot Priest and Broadway.

Noticeable details: had a stuffed Pichu plushie hanging over the dashboard. Bright yellow seat covers.
I’ve got two rooms I’m trying to fill in at my house. We’re located near Price/Broadway. Current residents all in our 30s and work in our various professions. We’ve got chickens, a messy container garden, and our front room is a music space.
Hit me up if you’re interested or have any questions.
Visiting this weekend and I want to take a break from five guys, In N Out, etc. Whats a good joint for burgers I should try?
Hi everyone, I have a work trip to Tempe coming up and would like some tips or recommendations for what to experience while in town. Things to do for fun, unique places to visit, or good places to eat.
I am flying into phoenix around noon and have 8 hr before work in Tempe then I'm driving to flagstaff the next day before heading home the day after that.
I saw a small striped or spotted tabby looking cat with a red collar with a star. I could not get it as it was so skittish and kept running away. Contact me if this is your cat
I live in a townhome complex here in Tempe, one that I rent from a private landlord through a management company. The complex has assigned carport parking, and for the past 2 days a vehicle has been parked in my spot. Left a note and all but it seems they ignored it. It's also not the first time they've parked there so I'm looking to have them towed away.
The carport does have towing info signage.
I know towing laws differ by city so was wondering if anyone had experience getting a vehicle towed here? Do I need the landlord's permission to tow? Or can I just call the towing company and have them pick it up?
Hi all, I'm looking for a venue somewhere in the Tempe area suitable for a "Poetry Night" type event. It will be a private event, so I'll need to be able to book out either a contained room closed from the public or the entire venue on a Sat or Sun evening or night. They should have seating for 20-30 with tables, chairs, and the ability to order coffee, drinks, and finger foods. A small stage would be nice (but not required).
The closer to ASU the better for the college crowd that will be attending.
Any ideas?
Hi Tempe, I recently realized that the City of Tempe uses the average water usage of winter months (Jan to Mar) to calculate the waste water usage for the whole year. Does anyone have any idea where that came from? I had a water leak that I fixed in April, so I am stuck paying triple on waste water for 12 months. My normal average is 3000 gallons, while the average during the leak is 9000 gallons.
Hello! A few of my friends and I will be in Tempe this weekend and would love any of your recommendations for brunch, lunch, happy hour, or dinner places (basically anything!) We’re hoping to avoid the college crowds and love patios, authentic local food, and a nice drink. TIA!
I was driving down Ash today in the neighborhood, and I saw a little golf cart looking thing, it was red and had blinking lights. It was some kind of robot, but I don't know about it. Who owns it and what is it doing?
