This might be a dumb question, but bands like First Fragment or Archspire who release albums like every 5 years could do a Kickstarter of like $100,000 for a new album and people would probably donate, right?
fairly new tech death band, don't sleep on these guys.
According to wiki and metallum they aren’t, but they give me tech death vibes

Hey doods, I've started to learn guitar about a year or two ago. I can play a good bit of death metal like Death, Obituary, Bloodbath, Carcass... I think the hardest song I can play is Spheres Of Madness from Decapitated. For now I've been playing mainly rhythm but now I'm getting into easy solos like Soul Evisceration from Bloodbath. I'm wanting to find some technical death metal bands that are a little easier to start learning so I can progress my skill at playing technical guitar. Any input is welcome. Thanks guys.
Not that new I know but this band seems slept on imo
New stuff from our Band From Grace. Hope you enjoy 😎🤘
I only started to _really_ get into death metal in the last three or four years, so I am still catching up on a lot of back catalog stuff. For instance, I still haven't listened to all of Morbid Angel's albums, and only checked them out for the first time like a year or so ago. There's just a lot to catch up on, and so much good new music coming out too.. I mean, I could probably spend six months just listening to Overwrought by Neurectomy and the new Blood Incantation album, they're so musically dense. But I digress...
Anyway, Gorguts had been on my list for a long time but somehow I just never got around to pulling em up, evn tho the name was very familiar to me at this point. I just put on Obscura for the first time ever. My fiance was on the phone with her mom and meanwhile I was just pacing around the house saying "oh wow... oh WOW!" What a treat. This is amazing.
Hey guys, our second single dropped yesterday. Jam it at this link, on your preferred streaming platform 🤘🏻
FFO: First Fragment, Demon King, Alterbeast
Do you guys think that if breeding the spawn didn’t have such shitty production, it would’ve been more highly regarded than effigy or pierced? I was able to download a fan made remaster of the album on YouTube and the riffing, drumming and bass lines are so top notch. Especially for 1993s standards regarding tech death metal or anything of that sort. Also.. I’ve even noticed a lack of covers of songs from the album on the internet which is a bummer because all the songs on the album have been tabbed so I wonder why is that. Also, I’ve also been listening to it way more than their other albums recently, I seriously can’t get enough of it. Lemme know your thoughts on the album.
What guitar brand do you think he will be using next ? I figured it would happen eventually tbh. Plenty of guitarists go through different brands over the years.
This banger went unnoticed in 2012.
Prob my fav tech death album ever, but know literally no one else that knows them and never hear them talked about.
There's been some amazing releases this year namely the zenith passage, cognizance, krosis from the top of my head. I usually get my recommendations from this sub and angrymetalguy but would love to hear if I've missed out on any. Also what's due next year? Would love to hear some more archspire
