Hello all, I’ve been browsing this subreddit for a bit, debating what army to start out with and I was wondering if I could have some advice/tips. I currently run a Wargaming club at my local university, and I am in the midst of working on a Canadian and East German force for a larger campaign, and I was wondering which army to pick for my personal one. I have been eyeing either the Finns or the Swedes, but I’m stuck between them, but I am open to other ideas or options, thank you.
So, I'm quite new to the hobby, and I have seen people throw around the idea that Team Yankee is going to, at some point expand into a Pacific Theatre but the most evidence of this I could find was basically just "trust me bro". I'm looking for clarification, is this something that could happen in the near future say, 2 or 3 years from now or is this something that's like, vaguely possible but is never going to happen? If this is something that will happen at some point who are the factions that will be involved, North Korea, Vietnam, China, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan? I really couldn't find any answers online.
A friend and I were playing Dust Up in the book and we both had one unit each deployed. I think by turn two he wiped out my T72 platoon and it wasn't until turn 4 I was able to deploy units from reserve. In the time I had no units on the table, should I have lost?
About 2 years worth of work. This is a good excuse to start another army right ?
Hello!
At the moment I'm having some problems with painting US infantry. Woodland camouflage is actually very simple, but somehow it always looks a bit weird to me.
Could it be that Vallejo Reflective Green is too dark?
Does anyone have any good advice?

Hello! A little confused on some rules about infantry assaulting tanks. Some context - British mec infantry assaulting M1A1HC As far as I can tell, there is nothing those troops can do to that tank whatsoever, as their AT weapon can’t get through the side (66mm anti tank AT12 HEAT vs 16 side due to chobam) and for grenades it’s AT2 against top 2. Is this wrong? If that’s right, that doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. If the tanks hatches are ripped open and grenades are thrown in, that tank crew are done for, no matter what!
Someone gave me some tanks and I need the backs to the cards but I can't find them anywhere online?
I didn't get the card with them.
Does anyone use the team yankee models for other wargames? I love the models, but i find the game is not really for me so i am looking for inspiration.
Hello,
I am quite interested in TY, but honestly, i have been absolutely unable to find any players in the above area, i am not even sure if a Single german exists who actively plays TY, any hinter or ideas ?
Building a group would be an Option, if any interest would be there, but most are happy with pure FoW and CoS
I was looking at unit cards and I noticed that two machine guns were in the same "block" (12.7mm AA MG and 7.62mm MG). Does this mean I can fire them both at the same time?
