Im really tempted to get it especially to really even it out against my marine rifle company starter set

I saw someone post a link to I believe was a Polish company, who made a Danish tokens & objective markers set for someone & I can’t find the post that had the link in it. Any help appreciated.

So, I got the Soviet starter set. I says it includes bonus weapons teams plastic sprue.

As far as I figure it is the 4 bigger bases marked with red.

Problem is I only got the ”regular infantry sprues” in the box, no special weapons or nothing. What soldiers do I mount on the big bases?

Between me and my friends I've got some Germans, Americans, British and Soviets. Which have been great armies and I've gained a lot of experience from, but I'm looking for something more unique. Any recommendations? (When I say minor I mean doesn't have it's own book, like French or Swedish)

I played 2 games of the 1st and 2nd scenario in the ty rulebook the us had 7 m60s 5 with era 2 in their own squad and then 2 Bradley's and the soviets having 3 t64 4 t80s and 2 bmp 3s now I was gonna use my lav 25 instead of Bradley's but why I opted out as the lavs only have a 1 for side front and top armor this seems low am I wrong? I mean it gets one spotted basically to any tank

Currently reading Team Yankee, big fan of WARNO, and huge fan of the science, history, and aesthetic offered by Team Yankee. I also (seemingly controversially) really like the scale.

However, my local stores don’t have big scenes for TY, my best friend who plays wargames lives a few states away, and my sweetheart isn’t quite as keen on wargaming as I am. So, I’m looking at it solo. I’m no stranger to solo wargaming, but TY is different from solo Napoleonics, or even solo Bolt Action or Warhammer.

I wanted to know if anyone here has had any luck playing solo, and if they’ve had any luck playing a sort of Team Yankee campaign.

Anyone try to get in on the launch sale for the new Battlefront Miniatures online shop and have problems? I loaded up my cart and when I attempted to checkout, I got an error after confirming payment that stated: "There are no source items with the in stock status." No specific product identified. Everything was listed as in stock. Anyone else have but solved a similar problems or had success?

Hello comrades and capitalist pigs. Just picked up this starter army. Any other recs for units in addition to this box set? This is my 1st foray into this game.

Hi all! New to the game at this point and before I assemble and paint my first models I'm wondering if there exists printable armour kits out there somewhere designed to fit the various Battlefront models? More modern up-armour would be fine. I know that they released up-armoured T-72s semi-recently, but I've got a bunch of the older kits.

I know that you can download entire tank STLs as well, but I've got the BF models and so I'd like to get these built and painted before printing entirely new ones.

I posted asked for some advice for a first time player a few days ago. I just wanted to thank every one that replied welcoming me to the hobby and for the awesome advice. I managed to win my first game in part due to the advice I received and due to my opponent rolling just all the ones and twos. He was getting quite frustrated towards the end of the game, Understandably I think.

My big blob of T72s that you advised me to take dashed a decent way into the board turn one and then spent the rest of the game camping an objective. By some miracle they only took one casualty as they were shot at by M1a1s all game that just couldn't seem to land a hit. My T80s came in from reserves part way though the game and managed to grab the second objective the turn after they arrived, destroying a unit of Bradleys in the process. One T80 was knocked out by a HMMWV with a TOW-2 in the side that was then destroyed in kind my following turn by my BMP-2s. My Infantry didn't really contribute to the battle but I think that was mostly down to me not really knowing what to do with them. I just dumped them out of the BMP-2's into a building on the flank and left them there. I guess they would have had something to do if my opponents reserves had come on from that side. It just didn't pan out that way. All in I killed 3 M1IPs, 2 M1a1s, both of the HMMWVs and all 4 of the Bradleys.

I'm excited to play again, I think I'm going to add a unit of Carnation artillery to my list for next time. I think having smoke to cover my advancing forces would be handy. Unfortunately I didn't think to take any photos at the time. I think my opponent did though so if I can get the pictures off of him I will share them later.

We just started playing and the rules say a tank can fire all of its ma hine gunes OR one other gun. However, you can build a unit for additional costs that go into the MAIN GUN grey area, along with the standard main gun.

If you purchasr that optional (usually anti tank missiles) during a shoot phase can that tank NOW FIRE BOTH ITS MAIN GUN AND THE OPTIONAL MISSILES at the same time or is is still "1 main gun" and you get to choose between them? Thanks in advance for the answer, we have been looking for a week lol

I’m painting up soviets at the moment, never played a game so far.

Playing around in the list builder and I think I’ve read in the rules that you can’t take a unit in the force AND in the formation.

Say 4 + 4 units of SA-9 Gaskin. Are you always limited to 4 gaskins in one Force? The list builder doesn’t give me a warning(it does when taking both storm and spandrel(because they are OR options)

Just finished the Soviet side of the starter set. First time painting at this scale. It was really fun!

Now unto the americans!

Hey guys, I’m on the fence trying to decide between this and FoW. I’m going Soviets and quite interested in the new starter set with the plastic infantry. I have heard that TY has poor balance and is a bit of a parking lot shooting gallery, wanted to get the Reddit’s completely unbiased opinions xD
