Hey people! I just moved to Tbilisi and staying in Vake for now. I start studying on march 10th and I’ve been looking around for a place to live that’s reasonably close to the university and with access to public transport or close enough to take a bolt if I’m late or something.
I checked out Dighomi and it is the most depressing looking part of Tbilisi and I really don’t want to live there. Although it is very close to the university. I don’t drive so that’s not an option.
Vake is gorgeous I love it here but it’s unreasonably far.
I haven’t seen Saburtalo yet.
I need a place with cafes/restaurants. English speakers
I don’t want to have to resort to speaking Russian at any point (I’m not Russian I just speak the language)
Any ideas ?

Hey Tbilisi locals! I’m in urgent need of a Spen nib replacement and wondering where I can pick one up in the city. If you know any shops or tech stores that carry replacements, I’d really appreciate the help. Thanks in advance!

Hi!! I’ll be applying to a university in Tbilisi soon to study medicine. DTMU is one of my top choices but I still have a few questions. Is it better than TSMU considering the fact that I have plans on doing my residency in the US? Is it harder compared to the other universities in Tbilisi? Are the dropout/failure rates high? Extra information about the university would also be highly appreciated.
Hey all, is anybody studying or have studied in UG in BBA stream has notes of previous years and versions or any group I can join to ask people about it? 🥰

How would rate TSMU as a medical university? What advantages does it have over other universities? How is the student life there? How are the opportunities?
I was to pursue medicine in US, but USMD at TSMU is too costly. I am taking the standard program and determined to self study like many in the Usmle journey. Is the standard md program inclined towards us standards?
Also, are the teachers helpful towards international students?
Also, how is Tblisi in general for international students? Are the people welcoming?
Also, kindly add anything you want to advise a new international student coming to Tblisi, Georgia! I want to spend the next 6 years of my life in Georgia happily, therefore any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.
Hiii!! I’m an A level student who wants to apply to a medical college in Tbilisi. I’ve been doing research on the universities there and have been asking around but I’m still very confused and honestly terrified about what’s to come. I really don’t want to regret my university choices later on, so could I please get some assistance?
General questions:
I’ve mostly been looking at UoG and TSMU but if there are better options, please let me know so I can consider them as well. Thank you :)
