I have a few full size pistols, like my HK VP9. I can carry them concealed, especially with the weather getting colder, but I think it’s time for a smaller one.
I’m hearing a lot of really good things about the G3C, and I can get it for low $200s right now. I like that. A lot. There’s no reason why I should consider paying twice that or more (3x!) for a Shield Plus or P365 (Hellcat, whatever), right?
I’m the guy that accidentally posted a pic of my revolver with some personal mail in the background. Here’s a video of me shooting it to make up for it. Model 669
This is the 3rd Taurus I've gotten. First the G2C, then the TX22, now this. Haven't went out to the range with it yet, anyone have experience with this and the G2C and is there any performance/accuracy differences?
Just installed the Veloce thumb rest by Tec-WeRX. Aluminum design, textured mount, fold and lock up seem super secure. Fit perfectly in my competition and IWB holsters. For the value, seems pretty dang awesome.
Looking forward to getting some rounds down range with it!
I just bought a GX4 at a gun show today and there's a problem.
Every other handgun I've ever handled, the slide is easy to pull back, lock into place, etc.
With this gx4 though, it goes back about 3.5/4 ways back, then stops in place, then I have to pull back extra hard and there's a click and then I'm able to lock the slide in place.
Im not really sure what the issue is, but who should I contact in order to fix this?
I have a Taurus circuit judge rifle chambered in 410/45. The front fiber optic iron sight got bumped and broke off the fiber optic. I’ve looked everywhere for a new one, but with no luck. Anyone know where to find one?
So I bought this model about a month ago or so… I made the mistake not to shoot it first. I thought It was the right model for me. I went to range a few days ago and I realized it’s just too much for me .. didn’t do my homework and I should have gone with the 942
What are my options? I guess if I decide to sell I’m gonna lose money on it. Gun is pretty much brand new.
Any inputs ?
So earlier this year my wife bought me a TX22 competition, and an optic to mount on it. Problem is, it’s a Romeo1 (not the pro) and I can’t find an adapter plate to mount it. Anyone know where to look?
I need your advice:
I want to purchase a TX22 that is both optics ready and full size but, because I live in NY, I cannot have a threaded barrel.
Any way I can make that happen? I'd appreciate any serious advice, but I'm kindly asking that you please hold the "move to a free State" comments.
Thank you!
Edit: To be clear, my question regards either being pointed out to an optics ready .22 Taurus that's both full size and not threaded or an after market barrel I can purchase separately
Are amazon flashlights/ Lasers Good?
I got some hornady critical defense ammo because I know it has a solid reputation. However my G3C is having issues feeding when I have a full mag. Is this because of the shape of the ammo? The first 3 bullets don’t want to get in the barrel unless I tap and rack, after those the ammo feeds fine. I remember seeing a similar post about this but I don’t remember what the issue was, any input would be useful. Also let me know what y’all use in your G3C, I’ve been using Remington HP but id like something with a more reliable expansion.
Back in mid September, I bought a new Taurus TX22 gen2 TORO from an online retailer. The gun arrived to my FFL in 4 days. When I opened the sealed box and plastic....the frame had a small gouge / chunk missing out of it near the slide.
I contacted Taurus. They wanted a picture of the damage. I sent the pictures to them and they said to said they would send me a label to send the gun to them. Which I did. They received the gun on 10/01. They called and offered me a new replacement which I accepted. I asked how long it would take to receive it and they said 6 to 8 weeks! I just spoke to a supervisor today and she said they were waiting on some paperwork from the FFL to fulfill my return....and the time is stilll.....6 to 8 weeks!! I can get on numerous websites and buy one and have it in a few days....but from Taurus the turn around time to get a replacement of a damaged new gun is up to 3 months in total?
Is this outrageous or am I being unreasonable?
Good afternoon Reddit. I wanted to ask if Taurus is still making model 942 in .22 LR both steel and ultra light? Have not seen they in the local shop in over a year.
My daughter’s ex is being a knucklehead, plus I just want to get her something for home protection and concealed carry. The thing with the ex came on suddenly so she’s got my 605 loaded with 38 specials and seems comfortable with it although she hasn’t shot it in a while, I’m looking at getting her an 856 with no hammer or concealed hammer or whatever Taurus calls it. She’s 24, 5’2” 120 lbs, petite frame, smallish hands. Any ladies out there have thoughts on carrying one or anyone have any thoughts about them in general. TIA
If it’s black and neochrome, I like it. I switched to a neochrome barrel a few years back
