I think 7am arivu, 24 are amazing movies ahead of their time but failed abruptly in cinemas ...will Kanguva match the time, croud and break this curse coz I'm seeing the creative posters and patterns coming back for this movie (I also feel maatran is a decent movie although mass is below average)
My brother is a huge fan of Gnanavel and said he will make his movies gross better and is a great director but when I saw this movie( few mins ago) i felt the screenplay was very lacking many minor mistakes. For ex: police suprising enter into the accused house and we see media waiting outside like it's pre planned. Then how could the family inmates couldn't hear anything. I felt very bad for the screenplay. Some parts were good like force shadowing the making of horlicks and the fight scene. Also fafa was 🔥. But totally it was disappointing. But reviews say it's good.
I understand family audiences don't note these minor mistakes but this makes the film lacking. It's a film it's not for family audience alone right? After watching Hollywood movies and then watching this feel like the industry is several fold behind. If it's the 1st or sophomore of the direction then it's fine. But he's a experienced guy but even he does this💔. I feel disappointed guys.
I am a big Ritika Singh fan and I am so curious and whether she will play a crucial role in the soon to be released Vettaiyan movie..anybody has any predictions?
I plan to work on my dissertation on Kollywood cinema and how it perpetuates colourism. I want to specifically look into movies that do this to the female main lead. For example, movies like Sundaram Travels, Shivaji, and movies of Raghava Lawrence. The colourism doesn't even have to be blatant, even if it's subtle, I'd like to know about it. Also, let me know about your thoughts on this phenomenon of Colourism in Kollywood. Is this because of Casteism, colourism, colonialism or a dirty combination of all of this? If there is some interesting article or research paper on this that I should read, please add the link.
Thank you in advance :)

So , I vaguely remember that as a kid I watched a goundamani sentil comedy clip from Siripoli. They stand in front of Kamala Theatre in Vadapalani in a car or auto I think. But I don't know which movie it is. Can someone find which movie it is?
I think that Yaazhini’s character played by Hansika has Down syndrome as it seems to me like an intellectual disability but my friend thinks she could be in the autistic spectrum as she shows tendency to repeat the same few expressions and repeatedly makes the same few sounds through out the film. Would like to know what y’all think about it.
This song with headphones 🤌
A bit of an unpopular opinion
I recently got into a debate with some of my friends for comparison of Bahubali and PS, Ik there are some people out there who ask us to appreciate both but I truly want to know would Ponniyan Selvan get the same love if it had the same music and direction but someone else, putting all the actors aside; just cgi direction and music imo Bahubali has beat by far
