Wanted to try my battle belt out and put real miles on it. Just missing my IFAK on the back. So far my only impression is that I have a light hot spot from the holster where the Safarilands bottom screw is near the plastic lip. Weight distribution is phenomenal with the 2 layered setup of the belt and I actually feel like even at this state I could wear the belt all day. Im rocking: ●Glock 20 10mm in a Safariland Mid Ride Holster ●1x2 Esstac Double stack mag with 2 Glock 20 10mm oem mags ●BFG TQ Holder w CAT TQ ●custom dump pouch ●Krydex Quick Release Belt ●Haley Strategic Velcro gear hanger
Glad I found the hot spot so I can fix the problem and not be a basement larper all of the time. Was fun to finally have a gun belt not feel like it was falling off of me.
Got a weird one fellas, and it’s probably an impossible one.
I have an FCS V60 repro, and a genuine pair of AMPs. I bought the AMPs second hand, but they were brand new. Unfortunately, the seller excluded the downlead cable, so now I’m on the hunt for a downlead cable—hopefully, one that’ll work with my chinesium V60.
To my knowledge, I’d need a Fisher to Amphenol cable, but I’m not 100% on that and I don’t want to spend $300+ on a maybe.
Anyone happen to have any experience with this?
I'll be attending a series of protests in a security capacity starting this summer. Basically, I just follow a camera crew around and if the protest turns into a riot, we leave ASAP.
I'm not live laugh loving the "non-zero chance" someone takes pot shots at the camera crew. I'm not the camera man so I'm worried that I lack the plot armor to go without plates.
We would almost always be in a city with quick access to medical care, so almost everyone else is going without any armor. However, honesty hour, I have an irrational fear of getting shot in the heart. You know how simmunitions are like homing missiles to the groin? I feel like that but for bullets to my heart. There is no reason for this. It's just a nagging thought in the back of my head that keeps me up at night.
Counter points to the plate carrier is if we [the team on the ground] have to run, we have to SPRINT. Being mobile is critical. I'm confident I can keep my plates and carrier set up under 10lbs of additional weight, but that's nothing to sneeze at either when we have to be on our feet all day and break into a sprint at a moments notice. I'm not a particularly fast runner (I'm second to last on my team for every sprint we do) and I don't want to be the slowest person.
Since sprinting is critical and getting shot is possible but unlikely, logical brain says to not get a plate carrier. But lizard brain has the controls right now and lizard brain is scared. Lizard brain probably needs therapy.
So, beloved internet strangers, should I buy a plate carrier or therapy?
shellback rampage 2.0 on the left
agilite k19 model on the right
i got one in a trade and the other i got for cheap second hand
the shellback feels better and its what i wanted when i started looking at entry level carriers. but now that i have both im wondering, should i keep one and sell the other? keep both and have one for back up or built out for another purpose? or should i sell/trade both for a carrier next level up?
Yeah, I knew from the jump that this was overpriced bro clothes, but I just really liked the hoodie.
What I ordered was the tigerstripe black, and what I got is a very saturated green tigerstripe fabric. The photos don't even really capture just how deeply hunter green the jacket is.
To their credit, FPC Coven has accepted that I can return the item.... as long as I cover the shipping, international and about half the cost of the jacket. As far as the marketing photos vs what I actually got, they say it's not a mistake and just a discrepancy in the monitor I used to view their product photos.
This is the hoodie i ordered. is that thing green on anyone's screen?
Payed with paypal. Do I have any options outside of just paying the shipping?

Are there any reputable companies that make a conversion kit to add a downlead for use with a radio?
Thanks in advance!
Won a LEAP Carrier from Midwest Armor for tacmas and got it ready to go run some drills with. I am really liking it so far for a slick carrier setup.
Hey u/midwestarmor I thinks it's coming together nicely
Currently running a pretty budget Teton sports ruck with Mt kit and I'm looking for an affordable upgrade because after about a year some of the stitching on my mouches is unraveling and any retention straps are dry rotted. I want to upgrade to something a little more traditional. Maybe some sort of green with molle on the sides for sustaining pouches but still 65 liters or more with a comfortable frame
I remember a pic of ,I believe Chris Hemsworth, in Crye pants leaving a bakery or deli?
Anybody have that pic by chance?
TIA
so I've got a standard issued army belt, no crazy gimmick like any of those battle belts, just a standard belt, I've got an Agilite MD2 IFAK on the back of the belt and I need a fast and easy solution to completely take off the IFAK without having to struggle with taking off my belt and squeezing my belt outta the IFAK.
I cannot replace my belt for another I am willing to gst a new IFAK.
This is for airsoft, btw... I didn't know where else to ask, sorry
I'm thinking of buying one, but I would like black straps with a tan plate... The question is, can I replace the straps with regular, ordinary side release straps? Or does it have to be a specific type of strap?
Talking about the zero shift thingy there in front of the Eotech
Hi everyone. I’m looking for a solid phone mount that ships internationally and won’t break the bank. Place for a full flag patch a bonus.
Any suggestions?
Does anyone know what belt this operator is running on the left? I’ve seen it before.
