I was given a link to "promotool" on the website so that I can check which promos are in my account. Problem is, every time I attempt to access it, it gives me an error message...."Access denied Error 15 promotool.t-mobile.com 2024-11-09 13:00:16 UTC What happened? This request was blocked by our security service". Am I doing something wrong, or is the website address he gave me wrong, or what?
So long story short I had a device i needed to return to assurant.i ended up out at a job for 2 weeks out of town. When I got back I misplaced the return shipping. I contacted them at least 5 different occasions for an email I never got that they sent. Finally spoke to someone higher up and they were able to get it taken care of. A week later I have a 800 charge for the device. I call assurant and they told me to reach out to tmobile. Tmobile told me it would take 7 to 21 days to reflect. When it was time to pay my phone bill I still had the charge and was asked to pay so much or my account would be suspended. I called t mobile and the representative told me they had gotten the device. Well I pay the part thats my phone bill and the next day my services are off while im at work where its a necessity to have a way of communication. Because i had no service the tank over flowed with pressure and now im on suspension without pay while they investigate .. and they still hit me with a $20 charged 20 per line to turn back on 3*20=60. Is there anything I can do about this.
One representative told me this had been an ongoing issue with others.
I will be paying $10 per month for the lowest plan. Do I still keep my phone number if I am not using it? I left the U.S. and want to keep my number. It’s connected to my eSIM.
Just got Iphone 14 with Tmobile with the monthly pay off & 50$ plan, I get on my phone and I need to scan a QR code for the eSim yet I never recieved a QR code, site says they should email it but I never got any email. Contacted customer support & they tell me to go to the store yet (not a problem if I really need to) I bought it online so obviously I didn't wanna go to the store to begin with, but looking around I see all this abut customer service sending you in circles so I don't even wanna get into that, now I'm wondering if there's anyway of getting my eSim without going to the store? - I selected New Customer when purchasing & it said I didn't need to make an account until I got the phone so I didn't, THEN they're saying I need my number on the tmobile app BUT I don't even have a number on the phone or I can't see it because I can't et up the cellular lmao, this is my first time buying a phone online and I'm lost as shit & never doing it again after, thanks for anyhelp.
Support told me I could port out my voice line and keep my watch line to keep my account and EIPs active. They also told me they setup a no service EIP. Well as soon as the port completed my whole account is gone?
I have an old TMobile one plan & an IPhone 12 to trade in. I’m assuming Costco is my best option? Should I wait until Black Friday or will it be the same promotion now?
Please help lol I’m so confused and is it “free” lol
Will the Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate or 5S Pro get support to run on the network? Would love to get one as a gaming phone because of the big screen and huge battery.. looking for an back-up to my daily driver and i definitely want to own one.....So what's the call on the ROG Phone? does it work with wifi-calling?
I’m trying to order the 16 pro max, they have it in stock by me but I can’t order it online for in store pick up, is there any way around this ?
Hello. I have variously seen T-Mobile's Home Internet Backup plan for $20/mo., if you're also a T-Mobile cellular customer. Would this also apply to MintSIM customers, which is a T-Mobile company? Thank you.
Apparently, I have to buy accessories in order to walk out with an upgrade. How is this even allowed? Wait, it isn’t.
Has anyone bought a pixel 8 or 8a 256gb at Tmobile recently?
They don’t have them online. They told me to call the stores, but none in my area have.
I just don’t want to waste my time calling stores if it’s discontinued. And if they’re truly not selling it anymore then I’ll just get the 128gb.
TIA!
I’m a 20 year longtime customer, currently grandfathered into the One plan. I have 2 lines, plus 4 free additional lines, plus 1 data line for a mi-fi internet device…. and receive the autopay discount. Customer service reps frequently encourage me to update my plan to a current one (right now Go5G) but when they plug it in to look up what the price will be, they end up telling me I’m better off sticking. Here is my main question….after all these years on T-Mobile I’ve missed out on receiving an Insider Code….is there anyway to get one if I update to the current rate plan?
Hi, all.
I have been a Metro customer for the past four years. Overall, they have been pretty good and the price for three lines of unlimited is pretty sweet. Overall, very few complaints with them.
So what am I thinking of switching? In short, I moved to a different part of the state and Metro doesn't work as well up here in the mountains. I have a very long commute to work and struggle with driving through some pretty substantially large dead zones that knock my cell service offline for upwards of thirty minutes at a time. It's becoming tough to deal with.
I'm looking at my options right now and am mainly considering Verizon or AT&T. I have nothing against T-Mobile but my reasoning for not considering them is that Metro uses the T-Mobile network, and therefore I reasoned that if I find myself driving through pretty substantial dead zones with Metro, I would probably find myself driving through those same dead zones with T-Mobile.
Is there any reason why this WOULDN'T be the case?
I currently have 3 lines on Magenta Max: me, my husband, and the free third line is my great aunt’s flip phone that she does not want to upgrade. However, my husband and I both have 13 Pro Maxes that aren’t running great and we want to upgrade to 15 or 16 Pro Maxes. Thanks to this sub, I learned we could purchase a certain Samsung phone for about $50 to use for the trade ins.
From chatting with T Life and reading online, it looks like I need to upgrade my plan to at least Go Plus to get any kind of substantial value for a trade in. The Go 5G Plus would be a little more per month but I am a government employee so according to what I’ve read I can get a 15% discount.
I’m not currently a Costco member. I have read about new customers getting great deals and Visa/Costco gift cards and only see an offer for new customers on Costco’s T-Mobile page. Not sure if anything else exists. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to manage this? Am I better off doing everything online? Any guidance would be much appreciated!
I had a very bad experience at a mall Location that cost me a LOT of money and headaches trying to fix a trade in error that never got resolved, so I’m extra cautious now and trying to prepare better.
I have a Google Pixel Watch, paired to my Samsung Galaxy S24+, both purchased from T-Mo. I am considering picking up a Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra this month, bought elsewhere. I have found directions from T-Mo that pretty much makes it seem like switching the esim from the Pixel Watch to the Ultra will be a piece of cake. (Hoping that's true.)
My question is this: will I be able to do this back and forth depending on which watch I'd like to be "active" on my watch plan any given day? Or, is there a reason that I'd be better off NOT doing that? I went to a corporate store and even the two CSR's didn't necessarily agree with each other on this one.
Hi everyone, I'm planning on travelling to the USA sometime in 2025 and would like to use T-Mobile's prepaid service while I'm there to avoid the roaming fees of my home carrier. When I checked on T-Mo's website for compatibility, my Euro/Asian market Samsung S24 (SM-S921B/DS) came up as "partially compatible" which I guess is because of no band 71 support on my phone (as only North American variants support B71).
My question is: will there be any major service/coverage issues without band 71? I understand B71 is used for coverage in rural areas although I'll only be staying in major cities (NYC, Washington DC area and Los Angeles to be exact).
Currently I have five lines on Go5G Plus with Insider discount. I took advantage of getting 4 new iPhone 16 Pros with Trade in ID 240405.
I want to add my parents to my account and get them new iPhone 16 Pros.
Is the best way to do this by adding the BOGO lines at Costco and having them port in the Verizon numbers while at Costco? How much would my line charge increase by? After the port in I assume I can take advantage of trade in ID 240636? I’ll get the phones from Apple as I want them unlocked.
Thanks for the help
Currently on ONE Plan with 5 lines (2 of which are free).
With Autopay, I get billed 155 dollars. This was after the June price hikes which added 5 dollars per line. Up to June, the oneplan was 140 dollars with the 2 free lines.
I called in to check how much going on the Go5GPlus and it seems it will be 180 dollars with the auto pay. However, I do qualify for 15 percent discount. Strangely, I see on the main t-mobile page that Go5g is selectable but on my account page, the only choices are go5gplus and go5g next.
However, with the corporate perk of 15 percent off per line (for go5g Plus OR next but not the Go5G, the 180 dollars gives back almost 23 dollars back. With the option for better trade in deals (tho who knows when they will change go5g to something else) and Apple+ tv.
If even grandfathered plans are getting price hikes, then there seems to be little reason to hang on to them.
My Internet stopped working on my cellphone today. I can make and receive calls and texts, but I have no 5G (no 5G symbol next to the signal bars icon), and no Internet. It's a prepaid account and it's paid. I restarted the cellphone, the mobile network, and nothing.
Talking to support either on the phone or via chat is very tedious because they want you to try all the logical and illogical things first, and reset and restart everything, so I have to end the call to disconnect, only to find out I still have no Internet. The last thing they made me do was reset all network settings (wifi, data, and Bluetooth), which made me lose all my saved networks...
Anyway, can I go to a T-Mobile store and have them take a look so they can see that it's not I didn't top up or that I disconnected mobile data by mistake and then they stop asking me to do the same things over and over again?
Is Go55 Plus the cheapest plan that includes deals on phones such as Samsung S24, Fold or Flip? Do you need to have more than one line?
Are "Via 24 monthly bill credits" a good deal on top phones?
I'm trying to get the best phone with the cheapest monthly cost. At least 95 percent of the time I'm using Wi-Fi.
Thank you!
I been trying to buy the magic keyboard for my iPad Pro but when I try to add to cart it doesn’t let me. It’s like they blocked it therefore I can’t purchase it. Any accessories in general.
Hi all,
Hoping someone could validate what I'm planning here, but the Work Perks thing has me really frustrated...
I was planning to do this at Costco kiosk but then I found out my discount won't work...
1 line port from Verizon, trade in S10e for iPhone 16 Pro ($830 off phone, 150 +50 GC Costco port in, no activation)
1 line port from Verizon, keep and switch ($800 to pay off vzw phone, 150+50 GC Costco port in, no activation)
1 line, NEW, trade in S10e for iPhone 16 Pro ($830 off phone, no activation)
I was going to sign up for 2 lines + 1 free line Go5GPlus at $150/mo with work perks 15% discount but then found out the plan is excluded from work perks! I get the free line is cheaper than a discount but I don't actually need the 3rd line that bad... was going to use as a home line for kids (and swap the 16Pro for the line on K&S).
Is there any better option for me here other than nicely begging folks at the kiosk for insider codes? Any help is appreciated :)
I have been on the ONE plan for a long time. 6 lines total (1 free line). My buddy at TMO just gave me an Insider Code. He said I would have to port a line over to another carrier and then port back in with a new account. Just want to confirm this will work. Will I lose my free line when I port all lines over to the new account? TIA
Line Discount ID190007
Showing on my account under promotions as an current service promo, but it's attached to a number that isn't on my account? Also, I am not actually seeing the discount on any of my bills.
Thanks
Hello Reddit family! I need some advice on how I can move forward with getting a great deal with Tmobile.
We've been with Tmobile for 8-10 years now on a family plan for 5 lines, currently. We have the ONE plan at the moment and we have 5 lines for $205.00 and another $45.00 for 2 devices we got this year. the discount you see on the bill is for the iPhone I purchased for my wife totaling $160.00 I feel like we're paying more and getting less, compared to the deals they have now.
I was taking a look at their website this morning and noticed they have an offer for the Go5G plus plan for 5 lines for $220.00
Correctly me if I'm wrong, but I'm able to upgrade our phones every 2 years at no extra cost with a whole host of other benefits just for an extra $15 month? Wouldn't that be a better deal to get? And possibly even get this notorious "insider discount", since we've been with them for almost a decade?
I just need come advice/guidance on how to proceed lol I would really appreciate it and I really do sincerely apologize for such a long read which probably could have been a lot shorter haha
Thank you!! 😊
I looking to possibly add a couple more lines to my account. I am currently maxed out on the auto-pay discount but two of the slots are being taken up by my free lines. Is there a way to reorder them so the auto pay discount will apply to the new paid lines and the free lines will get $40 vs the $35 off?
Recently was td managers cannot type in dealer codes ss it true that if it's just an ME and a manager on the floor, that the manager cannot give the ME the sale if they're busy with another customer already? I can understand not giving it to people who aren't here but it's just me and a manager, why am I getting penalized for doing a device troubleshoot and missing a sale because my manager took it?
