Does anyone know what the chords for Hell Hotel are? They aren't listed on the wiki, although I believe the song is in the key of Bm.
It's a really interesting song so it's sad that there's no tabs to cover it with.
I had recently heard a song called Country Song by the band Seether. At the 1:45 mark of the song, there a part that sounds eerily similar to TMBG, does anyone know if this is actually them or just a coincidence? I couldn’t attach a video so I’ll put a link in the comments.
i bought the book BOOK at a concert recently but managed to lose the page in it that contains the code for the download, is there another way i can download all of the digital goodies it comes with? I DID infact buy it and can provide photo proof; im not trying to get the download for free
I want to attend a show at the Orange Peel in Asheville in March, it will likely be the only chance I will get to see the Giants due to circumstances. The only problem- the orange peel has a 16 and up policy. At the time of the concert, I will be less than a month away from turning 16. Is there any hope? Will they check IDs?
My sister invited me to see them in London as she had a spare ticket so i went (only knowing istanbul, birdhouse in your soul, and doctor worm) and absolutely LOVED them. Ive now listened to the rest of flood and a few other random songs but i was wondering if anyone had any recs?? Id love to get into them more but their discography is so huge i dont know where to start
Do they play the kids stuff on tours? (the Disney albums) that’s how I was introduced to the band as a kid.
Hey yall so I’m going to my first TMBG show on this tour, anything I should know?

A few thoughts about this round...
This and the the next discussion are gonna be the trickiest to talk about because these are the albums I "avoid" most, but there's still lots of gold to be found.
"The Neck Rolls Aren't Working" took the top spot which surprises me slightly. It's not one I often return to, but it has loads of charm. Almost like Linnell's shot at a Flans style rocker. Second place was my top spot shoe-in, "The Communists Have The Music". If "Neck Rolls" was Linnell's Flans pastiche, this is the most Linnelliest Linnell song he could've written. Other sweet favorites like "This Is Only Going To Go One Way" and "Tractor" rose the ranks, and their fantastic cover of "Starry Eyes" found a solid place in the list.
Glad to see some love for "Best Regrets", honestly one of my favorite TMBG closers, and "Ampersand" a very sweet and lyrically interesting love song from Flans. Even surprised to see how high "Whole Lot Of Glean" came in, though it's a favorite of mine!
Not too many thoughts on the lower half of the ranking, except I thought that "Rock Club" got severely underrated. I love the sarcastic nature of the song and the laid back feel. Guess it just didn't click for some people.
One thing that did shock me however is the average song ranking for the main album was really high! Even above albums like "Join Us" and "Apollo 18"! I guess this just makes me appreciate the Johns' ability to pick the best tracks to make up an album, especially with the Dial-A-Song revivals. Makes me wonder what stuff gets left on the cutting room floor when they make their regular albums.
Like I previously mentioned, there's not a lot for me to bring up here, as this album does not envoke a lot of big emotions for me. But that's not to discredit it at all! Though its I Like Fun lookalike cover and compilation energy can make it feel like an unnecessary extra, it's a true gem that I think any fan can enjoy.
But that's it! Join me next Friday, December 27 to discuss the final album of the 2018 Dial-A-Song series! Everybody's coming along! Jackie The Clipper! Chip the CHiP! Dr. Sy Fly! The Poisonousness! Let's band together and discuss The Escape Team!
See y'all! 🩷💙💛🖤💚🧡❤️🩵🤎🤍💜💙🩷💙🩶🩶

Example: What if Flans made State Songs and Linnell created Mono Puff?
Was ready at 10am PT per email instructions but getting 'code invalid' for both Seattle and Portland shows.
Ticketmaster shows local presale started at 9am?
Super confused/saaaaaaad. Anyone else have this problem (or success?)
(Edit: Emailed Monqui and they sent an updated code! Great customer support!)
how did they do it. if i could watch a 10 hour dissection of this song alone I would
