I was never quite sure in I like fun wether ya man was taking drugs to float away or to stop himself floating away?
I really would like 'direct from Brooklyn' and 'gigantic: a tale of two johns' but I am unsure where to buy them, and is it possible to get them in Australia?
Hopefully will make more!!!!
In my latest deep dive, I explored why this chaotic minute, thirty three second-long track is as hilarious as it is frighteningly in tune with hopeless romantics like teenage me.
What’s your take? Is there a TMBG song that captures heartbreak in fewer words better than this? Let’s discuss!

Yeah, what's the least silly sounding one? was gonna show them to some older people I know. Was thinking of using either Apollo 18 or The Spine Surfs Alone (oddities and rarities version, not just the ep)
Looks like this 1956 pic taken at the Radiochemical Centre, a pharmaceutical company, is the origin of the Long Tall Weekends colorful album cover.
Hey, can I please have the track list for the vinyl pressing of Mink Car? Is it the US or EU version, and are the bonus tracks in the streaming version there? Thanks
dont mind the different whites lmao i was in bad light
I know it's ridiculous and that it doesn't exist because a shoehorn with teeth would not be effective; but WHY don't they have a shoehorn with teeth on the TMBG store?!? I mean, how hard would it be for them to get one designed and 3D printed? As a fan since the 80s, I would LOVE to own one, just for bragging rights, alone. If anyone knows where to find one, let me know!
I don't often see this one mentioned. I freaking LOVE the Lady and the Tiger. It's just so damn good. That is all!
I swear Pet Name sounds just like a Ben Folds song. Flans sounds just like him!
I'd just like to get to know everyone's taste a bit.
My favorite TMBG album: Flood
My favorite non-TMBG album: OK Computer or The Aeroplane Over the Sea
I just got this when it went on free digital download and stuck it into my main playlist with 700 or so songs yesterday, but just heard "The Velvet Ape" and it jams. I love Flans doing spoken word like he did on MonoPuff.
Not a big fan of "The Power of Dial-A-Song" though.
What are you enjoying most from it? I haven't heard many people talking about it.
Here are some of mine:
THANK YOU (from Absolutely Bill’s Mood)
Conrad Spectacle! (from House of Mayors)
When I… was 39… years old (from John Lee Supertaster)
Whatever it is it’s not a letter (from Letter/Not A Letter)
But my question to you is, W (from Can You Find It?)
Also the entirety of Untitled and the Frank O’ Toole show.
There I said it. Come at me bruh!
PS. Have listened to every single TMBG album countless of times, and BOOK still connected with me the most. 10/10 album!
