Anyone else wish some of the songs off Fingertips had full length versions? I feel like Everything is catching on fire and Something grabbed ahold of my hand could be great full length songs. I love Apollo and Fingertips but I wish it were longer

What does everyone think about 'the communists have the music'? And how popular is the song in the Fandom? Personally it's one of my favorites! My boyfriend and I are going to see them next month and I really hope they play ittt!:)

Personally I prefer the Severe Tire Damage cut of She's Actual Size. And despite not being a fan of the Factory Showroom version of Metal Detector I love the live version from Cast Your Pod to the Wind.

I need some advice on how to listen to They Might Be Giants entire discography, cause I’ve found myself liking some of the popular songs off their first two albums but just can’t feel myself going through all the effort of going through their entire discography, but also I do want to go through their discography to see what this band has in store for me.

Any advice on how I can go through discography?

I have a soft spot for Flansburgh’s straight ahead pop rock stuff. I love his singing voice and think it really suits this style. What are his best songs like this? Here’s a few of my favorites to get us started:

I’m bringing my kid to the show in Minneapolis. I’m a casual fan, but she’s pretty thrilled and also a minor. This is her first real grownup concert experience and I want to make it fun. I went to lots of punk-rock house shows in the early aughts and loved spending time getting my hair and makeup just right, layering all my tees and camis, etc.

That said, I can’t really catch the vibe of what to expect? I’ve read “jeans and tshirts” for what to wear, but I guess I’m looking for more practical advice. For example: I saw an iridescent alien-shaped vinyl cross-body bag on poshmark and thought that would be fun, but not sure it’s the right thing. We both love to go thrifting for funky accessories.

Everyone seems chill and I’m probably really worried for nothing, but she’s barely old enough to get into the show and she’ll notice if we stand out or don’t fit in, and I only want her focused on having a great time.
