I’ve been working here for 3 years~ I know every store is different. But my discount card was last seen in another purse of mine that I can’t find anywhere around the house! My mom still has hers but I haven’t found mine for over a month. Will I get in trouble for this?

So I have this CEC can be a complete pain sometimes, and it’s not just me either. When she is scheduled as a cashier she’s kind, but once she’s a CEC she becomes sassy, rude, and comes with an attitude, she’s like a new person. Any CECs are like this in your store too??

It will not let me into the app 😔 like it won’t let me sign in. I’m not really sure who to contact to fix this cause I asked the manager and she couldn’t do anything 😭

does anyone else's managers shame them for calling in? i have vertigo and it doesn't flare up a ton but i woke up this morning feeling awful and so dizzy. i called in for my shift and i haven't called in for over three months now. they act like it's a habitual thing when i called. i understand it's the weekend close to the holidays but i cannot stand much less drive to the store and work a 6 hour shift. my manager kept trying to pressure me into coming in and i don't get why they always have to make us feel bad for not being able to work. it's so frustrating

It been about a month process since I have applied, interviewed, and submitted a background check.

Today I received an email saying that I got a Seasonal Retail Associate Position at Winners! I have never worked in retail, so I do not know what to expect... I've heard nightmare stories and such, but I am hoping that someone could share a story or advice to someone starting new!

I don't have much previous job experience (about 4 months total), so...

I was wondering what is starting out like? How many hours on average are given during holidays? and also, how soon do they have an orientation/first day?

I have a funeral to attend and do not want to miss, I told them I had open availability and was told during my interview that I can't really adjust my schedule, and neither can I call in until after 3 months (which is as long as my contract is). So how would I go about this?

I have been in this store a few times and it’s always clean and so well organized, especially the beauty section where I always visit. All of the employees I’ve interacted with have been super nice too. Just a shout out to say great job and you’re appreciated!! 💝

I was putting a chair in the back of his SUV (Homegoods) I was helping the customer put in a chair in the back of his SUV> It barely fit and told him i dont think it will fit. He forced it in and i guess it damaged his car and he called the store to complain about me. He was a real jerk too. I explained it to the manager how the chair barely fit and he forced it. she said she understood. I guess he wants it fixed and our insurance is involved. She had a cofference call about it with the insurance company Is this going to effect me at all?

Do we get our own ear piece or do they get sanitized and we all share?

I dont do this often but now its getting really bad. My manager is so mean and rude to me when no one is around, whenever she is around others she starts acting nice she's very arrogant. If nobody is around she is so rude like wouldn't even answer my questions. Makes me do nearly everything, she always give her favorite employees the easy work. I dont mind doing stuff or working too much but IF I AM ON MY BREAK JUST GIVE ME A BREAK, I AM NOT GOING TO TAKE THE RETURNS TO THE FITTING ROOM IT IS MY BREAK. I wouldn't mind doing something else just because somebody call out BUT PLEASE STOP BEING SUCH A BITCH. Everyone is so nice except for her.

Hi everyone, I got approved for the tjx mastercard and got it in the mail about a week ago. It got declined in the state next to me, and I called customer service and it worked fine after that in the state I reside in. I used it in the same state next to me that got declined last time and it got declined AGAIN! Has this happened to anyone else?? Any ways to fix it? I'm really annoyed by this. And customer service is closed for the weekend.

Few days ago we had an issue with LP and they had came in and yelled at the SM about hanging in the fitting room. Apparently it distracts us for being vigilant and lets people steal… come onnnn. People are gonna steal if I’m doing nothing or I’m hanging from a tote. And even if they were stealing WE AS ASSOCIATES can’t do ANYTHING!! like will be FIRED if we do anything. So wtf am I supposed to be vigilant about? They know we won’t do anything if they steal THATS WHY PEOPLE DO IT!! Me hanging to take some of that load off of people in the back is not gonna change that. It’ll go back to normal in a week I bet but it still makes me angry.

I have been an ASM for 3 months. And I'm honestly ready to quit. The store is a shit show. No supervisors and many high schoolers or associates barely speak English. And I'm not a bigot, everyone needs a job. But we constantly need a translator, aka the other ASM, who has gone out on PTO since ive been here. They don't pay associates enough AT ALL. They don't want to hire more full timers because they don't want to pay our benefits. However, they want the store to be run so efficiently. It doesn't make any sense to have three trucks weekly. Turnover is a joke. The pay is decent. But 62,500 a year before taxes is not enough.

i started working at marshall’s a few weeks ago but i’ve only been paid once. today (friday) would be the second time id get a paycheck and i haven’t gotten it yet. to be fair its only 5 am lol but last week i got it a day before. is it normal for them to be late? sorry if im just paranoid

some of the returns I had to sort through in the fitting rooms last week stunk so fucking bad. the worst offender was an active wear shirt that I didn’t even have to get close to in order to smell the odor…. 🙁

I’m new to getting like the gourmet food from tjmaxx and I’m looking for a good vanilla for my overnight oats and yogurt and baking, I’m just intrigued by these two !
