Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Asaad Al-Shaibani:

• There will be strategic partnerships between us and Ukraine on political, economic, and social levels. We also have scientific collaborations that we will initiate anew with #Ukraine.
• The Syrian and Ukrainian peoples share similar experiences and suffering over the past 14 years. Today, we warmly welcome the official Ukrainian delegation.
• We affirm that #NewSyria welcomes all Arab and foreign delegations. Today marks the beginning of a new history representing fresh relations that connect Syria's past to its present.
• Strategic partnerships between us and Ukraine will be established on political, economic, and social fronts, alongside renewed scientific collaborations.

Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs:

• More than 20 trucks carrying 500 tons of Ukrainian flour will arrive in Syria tomorrow.
• While Russia exported barrel bombs to Syria, Ukraine is offering food aid.
• We are ready to assist Syria in gathering evidence and investigating the crimes of the former regime and Russia.
• If you can expel the Russians from your land, you will ensure your security and the security of neighboring countries.
• We offer the Syrian administration assistance in collecting evidence, investigating, and prosecuting crimes.
• We seek cooperation with the Syrian administration in various fields.
• I conveyed a message of support from President Zelensky to Ahmed Al-Shara.
• We will provide 500 tons of flour as aid to Syria.
• We will send additional food aid shipments to Syria.
• Russia and the Assad regime are jointly responsible for atrocities in Syria.

The toppling of the barbaric Bashar regime has been the happiest day of many of the Syrians and one of the heaviest blows to Russias influence in the Middle East. We both share the same enemy, the enemy who’s bombed, starved and tortured our people, the enemy that has caused millions of deaths and bloodshed. I pray that one day just like Syria, Ukraine will be fully liberated from Putins satanic army. When the Russian invasion of Ukraine started , I took to the streets in Trafalgar Square to join my follow Ukrainians in solidarity in what was happening, and with that the Chants that came out of mouth were “Glory to a Free Syria, Glory to a Free Ukraine”, now I no longer need to say “ Free Syria” and I hope that time for Ukraine will come shorty. Stay strong, and I hope we can all celebrate when that time will come. Thank you to Ukraine and the Ukrainian people for their solidarity with the Syrian people, a gesture in which Syria nor the Syrian people will forget for generations. Glory to Syria!
