Just wondering if there are any good bars for meeting mature women at in the North Syracuse area??? I’m 48 and visit north Syracuse regularly for meetings with customers and coworkers.
Would any guys be interested in a poker night? I’m a 24 year old guy and semi new to the area (bville) and have taken a new interest in poker and looking to make guy friends. Not sure where it would be, just trying to gauge interest at this point.
I’m looking for someone in the Syracuse area to mix and master an album that my friend and I recorded. The files are all in Logic Pro. It might be a hefty job. We’d do it ourselves, but we just don’t have time. If you’re up for the job, DM me and we can work something out.
I would have a contract drawn up and motorized, since I’ll be paying hundreds for this.
I'm looking to sandblast some small parts in a sandblast cabinet if anyone knows of someone that has one or a company that provides the service. plastic keyboard keycaps to be specific.
Desperately looking for a presale code for Mamma Mia at landmark theatre in Syracuse for March 14th. I want to bring my 14 year old daughter who's had a horrible year so far due to bullying at school and then her dad suddenly leaving her step mother 😭 Mamma Mia is her favourite musical and we'd be travelling from Montreal Canada to see it. She's a musical theatre kid and she's sooo wonderfully talented but with everything going on, she's lost her motivation and passion for the school play this year. This mamma's hope is to be able to give the tix to her for Christmas, hoping to give her something fun to look forward to and maybe renew her passion for theatre. Very afraid I won't be able to get tix and we can't afford to travel anywhere else, Syracuse is at least viable driving distance for us. Anyway, if anyone can help I would be forever grateful!! Xo
My partner and I would love to pack up the car with holiday cookies and hot cocoa and drive around looking at holiday lights in Syracuse (not the suburbs). Any neighborhood suggestions or specific houses we should see?
After SU’s big win over Miami yesterday I was looking forward to reading some articles about the game in today’s Post-Standard. I couldn’t find one article about the game. No mention of it at all. Granted I didn’t read every word in the paper but I did look through each section. Nothing! What am I missing?
Hi I'm a 20-year-old female student who's struggling with a pile of bills right now. However, I don't really know what's in the area. Does anyone have knowledge of odd jobs in the city for people without secure transportation? Or anyone looking for an employee to do literally anything, I'm desperate lmao
We’ve officially reached the part of the year where I’m miserable thanks to cold, dark, damp days.
For the last 10 years, I’ve considered taking a leap and leaving, in search of brighter weather and opportunities.
We haven’t even officially had snow yet, and I’m ready to nope my way out of here. Honestly, I think the cloudy days are the real soul suck. Almost no sun for months on ends really drains any life from me. Would it be worth pulling the trigger? Has anyone ever moved away from Syracuse because of the winter weather? Did you stay gone or come back?
I need an excuse to visit Syracuse in December - on a weekday preferably.
What events/festivals/shows would you recommend? Fun holiday markets? Handmade popups?
I see I will be missing this today (can’t make it in such short notice) but it looks like it would be amazing.

I'm looking for an AA meeting around Syracuse that has a bit of a younger group (20s and 30s). I tried a meeting and found it hard to relate to everyone there as they were significantly older.
Would be great if it was also a larger group as the one I tried just had a handful of people and felt kind of uncomfortable as a newcomer.
Thanks
Hi everyone! Has anyone here been to the romance book club at Golden Bee Bookshop? I’m super curious about what it’s like! How’s the vibe, and what’s the age range of the group? I’m (23F) and hoping to make some new friends around my age. Would love to hear your experiences!
I’m early 30s and most if not all of my football memories for Syracuse have been absolutely terrible to be honest.
This game and season were tons of fun and it feels great to see the team do well after a lifelong let down .
Well done cuse football, can’t wait for next year already!!! 🍊🍊🍊🏈🏈
This is off Mertensia Rd in Farmington, which is just outside Canandaigua. They even broadcast Christmas music on a low FM station. Does anyone know if there are any streets that are lit up like this in the Syracuse area?
Looking to send some Xmas bouqets and some birthday floral arrangements for a few. Looking for good recs. Only used Wescott Florist before and they did a pretty good job.
My partner and I are thinking of moving to Syracuse next year. We’re only about an hour and half away now and enjoy the city. But recently I’ve seen a few articles on extremely high lead levels in the water. I’ve also seen some articles that the original high levels were exaggerated. Either way what is everyone’s feeling on this? It’s kinda freaked me out.
Hey Syracuse! Tonight we're doing a live recreation of the Allman Brothers album Eat a Peach at Funk 'n Waffles! Admission is free, we're just looking to find other local folks with similar musical taste to us! We start at 8pm sharp, hope to see you there 🙂
Last year I went to an open studio fair at the Gear Factory around this time of year. A bunch of artists and creators were hawking their stuff. It was an awesome spot to buy cool, local stuff, and just a fun event.
Got me wondering: what other kinds of events are out there like this in Syracuse or the burbs? I'd love to find more local people selling wares and unique gifts this year.
Westcott?
Looking for the best bloody in town. Company welcome!
I've gone to the Vault, they kicked me out for being autistic because it creeped out the girls there. Seeing as I only ever hit on a guy there, I have no clue how I creeped out any women.
I also was kicked out of another group because "Role Play is not acceptable behavior in Adventure League". I can only assume being autistic I may have assumed a role playing game accepts role play. I don't know how these things work.
I grew up in a mental ward where I had little to no contact with my peers. Thus I lack all the prerequisite social skills to properly engage with my fellow man. Many women are bigots and assume I'm a rapist or something and treat me like a serious danger to their well-being. They assume bad things then they go to their guy friends and get me kicked out.
So I need a dnd group that is accepting of highly autistic "creepy" men.
I thought this was the hobby for socially isolated Autistic men who don't like trains. Am I wrong?
I am hosting about 12 people for Christmas this year and want to try purchasing the meal to ease some stress. Aside from Wegmans, where are some places you’d recommend? (Love Wegmans but we already eat from there a lot and wanted a different option.) Thanks!
First of all, this is only a question. I'm NOT complaining about the new recycling bins or schedule!
In the mailer that I just received, it says to not put recycling into bags, even paper bags. Obviously I know enough not to put plastic bags in the bin, but why is it bad to throw a paper bag full of recycling into the bin? Wouldn't its contents get dumped at some point between the dumping into the truck or the dumping of the truck at the recycling center?
Howdy everyone,
Hope folks have been enjoying a wonderful thanksgiving week so far~
Wished to share an invitation to join tabletop roleplaying game sessions for Mausritter—like D&D but youre playing small mice 🙂. Sessions can flex between inperson and online play.
If this sounds interesting and/or if youre keen on giving tabletop roleplaying a shot, please send me a message! I love running sessions for new and veteran players! 🙌🏽
Really odd request, does anyone know where I can get hot jalapeno pineapple jam or something similar? Are there any farmer's markets still going on? I'm new to the area so any recommendations are welcome, thanks!
Did you already known OCSD bought a Sherp? Nevermind how impracticablly expensive it was to buy, the maintenance is going KiLL us if we don't get the think bobbing down and up in the aquarium here, sometimes soon. GiggidyGiddy UP!!
