Hello! I am senior photography student seeking help with my thesis project with prototyping and testing!
My thesis is on sunset prediction and photography/shooting on location. I'm creating an application that will show the forecast for the sunset in advance so that photographers and event planners can know and plan for great lighting, colors, and overall visual quality of the sky. This program would follow the example of other services like Alpenglow, SkyCandy, and SunsetWX as inspiration but with free, easy-to-use, and accurate projected forecasts.
I am in the beginning stages of creating and testing prototypes on my ideas. Therefore, I am looking for people in the community to test my ideas and service on! The process would require little to no effort on your end, besides just providing some insight on your experience.
If you can help please reply to this post and/or send me a private message so I can provide you with a Google Form that has more information.
Thank you so much! Please share this with your friends and I appreciate your time and consideration! :))
Hello, I’m hoping some of you out there know the answer to this.
I live in the Maldives about 4° north of the equator. From what I understand, days get shorter as we move towards the winter solstice.
But here the sunrise seems to be getting earlier. Yes, sunset is earlier too, but I thought it’s supposed to shorten from both ends. Why is this happening?
