I have a challenge for you. What would it take for you to get up tomorrow morning and take a picture of your local sunrise? Bonus points if you use your bike to get to a more strategic location. More bonus points if you do it in a thunderstorm.
Check out /r/sun, /r/sunrisesunset, and /r/sunset too.
This subreddit is about taking life by the balls and starting off each day early, with purpose, and by doing something beautiful. We only have a finite number of sunrises left before we're gone for good. Might as well make them count.
My personal sunrise project is at http://aultparksunrise.com and this subreddit is a dump of my favorite sunrise pictures from Cincinnati, OH USA. Misery loves company; I'd love to see yours on here, too. I'll be here during the work week, and when I can on the weekends.
All that matters is that the picture you submit was taken by you in an honest effort to get up at sunrise to document it. It could be the sky, a freshly bloomed flower, your vacant street in the morning mist, whatever. Please post your location in the title.
