Cut a long story short; my 2001 bugeye was fitted with UK300 Prodrive headlamps so the loom was modified. I replaced the headlamps with OEM ones but I'm unable to connect my cabin beam dip connection due to the aforementioned.
Essentially, would anyone here have a picture of the original female connection from their loom that I can use to send off to iWire so see if they can help me out.
I have attached all three images so it's clear as day to anyone here. The red connector is what changed my headlight angle from within the cabin and before anyone makes a smart suggestion of if it fits, why do you think I'm outsourcing to reddit?
I have a 2003 Impreza and noticed that one of the two radiator fans in not working. It that normal and do they switch independantly?
Thanks for the help!
My 2016 Subaru Impreza Base needed transmission repairs. Fortunately, it was covered by the extended warranty. They also changed the oil. For some reason, when they put in my VIN, it showed up as 2016 WRX.
When I got home, I checked the paperwork and they used 5W30 instead of 0W20 (which I'm not worried about) but they installed a WRX oil filter instead of the Impreza oil filter.
Problem? Nothing to worry about? What do y'all think?
Iβm curious if this year and model has a timing belt or a timing chain, Iβve tried researching but have found answers both ways, just looking for a point in the right direction
I'd be willing to bet that engine could take at least another 200k, sadly i've found the rust too late to save it, so we'll be parting ways after the winter.
Just bought a used 22β hatch Impreza with 71,000 miles on it. This is my second car my first car was a 08β ford fusion so this is a massive upgrade for me. I wasnβt specifically looking for this kind of car but now that I have it I feel like Iβve opened a door to a world of possibilities. Just looking for some advice / things to look out for. I want to make this thing look and feel fucking amazing!
I have a 2022 Subaru Impreza. Is there a way to turn on showing album cover (art) when playing music via Bluetooth? All I see is a music note where the art should be. I am using an iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 18 and using the latest app version of Amazon Music. Also, isnβt album cover (art) supposed to display when listening to FM radio?Β
Okay so I have a '08 2.5i and I'm trying to figure out what I'm able to do with it. From what I've heard there isn't really anything I can do for power. But is there anything I can do that will help with really anything, or is it just not really a thing? Any tips are greatly appreciated
I've got a 2015 Subaru Impreza 2.0i Limited PZEV, and the audio is just terrible when I exceed 30 volume. It's not very loud or high-quality, and I want to upgrade it. It's all still stock: 6.2" LCD Radio with 6 Speakers, the Starlink is outdated and barely loads anything.
I'm wondering a few things: Do I need to upgrade the entire stereo system, or is it just the radio causing it to be distorted? Any suggestions for how I should upgrade it? Is it even worth it?
Do you guys recommend doing always my service in the dealership? in PR theres only 1 subaru dealership with a service center. My impreza 22 is about to hit 25k miles and service should be done in a few days. Last time I choose to do the service elsewhere(hitech) because I was short on money and wasnβt aware that they didnβt change the oil back in April when I bought the car.
Other than oil & filter change, what other things do you guys recommend me to check?
I recently got a 2007 n/a impreza and was wondering if anyone knows what the other cable next to the throttle cable is? Thanks.
Have a 2008 2.0 auto with 60k miles, that developed heavy rust on the sills. Getting the car through MOT would cost me about Β£1500. Bought it for Β£800.
Car requires some brake parts and welding on inner sills and replacing outer ones. Body is pretty rough scraped and looks like it hit a pole at some point. Not sure if worth to try to sell it as is, repair and sell or part it.
What do you think is a good out-the-door price for a 2024 RS (specifically with the Harmon Kardon/power seat/moonroof package). I'll probably be buying one in December. This is my first new car purchase, and I'm a little nervous about getting suckered into a bad deal. I'd really appreciate some advice from those of you who feel like you negotiated a good deal. Thank you π
Sounds like coming from passenger side engine area 2.0 2013 impreza
Hi all. I have a '24 RS, it's about 10 months old with ~5500 miles. I've noticed a terrible rattle when I play any song with bass and it's progressively gotten worse. Anyone with similar issue or have I just been playing my music too loud?? π
Taking to the dealer this weekend π€π½
Alright boys, I think I sent her a little too hard this time. She started knocking after a bad shift and I'm still in denial that my 50k mileage engine is in need of replacement but here the absolute freak we are. Shop quoted me about $8k for the swap and for that kind of cash, I'm thinking I could just let out a few (probably a lot) cuss words and have a nice build doing the work myself at a local DIY shop. This 'ole Subarina already needs body work, so I'm honestly hoping to not go that deep into my wallet. Where have you guys found some good deals on engines aside from Car Part? Also, I'll take any ideas for killer swaps.
Recently got a 2012 sedan impreza base, and was curious what mods I should start on? it currently holds notnint but after market LED lights. I know it is quite slow but what can I do for performance and looks? Itβs a grey ish color.
Can any 2024 Subaru Impreza sport owner confirm whether this model has wired car play for iPhone and if there is a delay in audio?
I was watching a youtube review of the car and the content creator said for the sport model there's only wireless connection and there is a delay even when he connects his phone to the car with a USB-C cord (idk how that makes sense honestly but that's what he said). I care a lot about the audio quality of the car I get so it would be great if somebody can share their experience with the car. Thank you!
Show me your 01 Impreza!! I have the non turbo version n wanna see others!
Hi everyone. I am looking for some help. I am located in northern Nj. My TPMS is not reading at all and my tire pressure is fine. It started acting wonky a year ago, disappeared with warmer weather, and now they do not read at all. The light is constantly on. Iβm thinking I should just replace all 4 sensors? I have 122k miles. Except they are out of stock at all the dealerships and they want upwards of $600 for parts and labor. Any advice would be appreciated on how to remediate the problem or where to buy the sensors that will work with the car.
The car has 20k miles on it. We put a set of tires on at around 10k miles and got it aligned at the dealer because of really bad inner tire wear. 10k miles later the cords are showing AGAIN on the front left and right rear. (For context tires are rotated every 5k with oil change.) Are newer Subaru suspensions just way more finicky and fragile than the older ones? Any thoughts?
Iβve been highly considering a 17-23 Impreza 5 speed for my next car. Seem like solid cars and have heard good stuff on YouTube. Any major issues that my come up with these cars as they get into high mileage I should look out for? Or should I just stay away from them entirely.
Hey guys, does anyone have any experience with lifted 2nd gen Imprezas or outbacks? I've done the Forester suspension lift and was wondering if I could fit some all terrain 215/60/16s
I've tried the search bar, forums and Facebook but can't find any info, cheers guys
Edit I found a guy in Reddit that had my exact car and he said 215/60/16 would be ok
