I want to purge a species from my planet but i can‘t. What could be the cause?
Don't want people to tell me I suck I know that just want to know stuff I don't know
I have played a dozen games, won a lot of them but i still dont know, how to survive against the onslaught of AI? They can field a fleet that is three times as big in the same time i build 1 fleet.... its just relentless, and all i can do to survive is pich xenophile and suck up to my neighbours and destroy them later, and the rest of the galaxy. But surely only one playstyle shouldnt be the only way to win against ai... Everything just takes too much time and they seem to have endless recources... like how can you effectively play against an enemy that gets everything three times as quick as you?
Ok, ive only been playing this game three days, but im loving it and 60 years in already, but I'm still learning a lot. When it comes to proposing subjugation, if it fails will I get a negative response? I want to try but my galaxy is mostly peaceful right now and I wanna try to maintain that for now. I don't quite understand either if the "acceptance" number is for my empire or theirs, because I notice when I check "Ask to be their subject" it's also a negative number. Thanks!
I've been playing for a little bit, maybe around 1,000 hours. I've been having this problem where the game seems to recognise fleets on other saves as fleets in my current game which leads to "a fleet of this name already exists" or something along those lines.
Is there a way to stop this without having to delete those other saves?
I've been playing this game for a few months now off and on and I have two questions.
My first being, I've watch quite a few videos on building fleet power but I guess there's something I'm missing. I know about espionage and about changing up weapons based on the layout of the enemy ships and all that good stuff, but how do people hit 1 mil strength or even like 500k? I have all the upgrades that I know of and the best fleet I have is only about 172k.
My second question is about economy. I've seen some YouTubers have planets based around a single resource, like a full planet for science and another planet for minerals, ect. Should I do that, or should I base the planets resources off the deficts the planet is requiring and add new resources when the defects have cleared up?
If someone has a recommended YouTube video for these questions, I'll gladly watch. I just came here because I'm still pretty much a noob and most videos I watch go into detail that I don't necessarily understand yet. Any answers are appreciated.
Whenever I start a game on Xbox it states that my game is not suitable for achievements.
Can someone confirm the game requirements for achievements to work?
Thanks.
In a game like The Sims 4 it is easy to tell if a bug/problem is with the whole game or a particular DLC, however it is trickier with Stellaris (where everything is connected)... I have heard people complain about Overlord having performance problems... but what about the other DLC?
I currently own Expansions 1, 2, 3 & 4 and wish to buy 5 & 6 (after First Contact & Galactic Paragons come out) - but I want to make sure each DLC runs smoothly before buying?
(I am on Xbox One, in case that matters)
I want to use reanimator civic to use to sky dragon in “here be dragons” as early as possible. How do I kit out my fleets and star bases to be designed. I am very new and this sounded like a very cool idea so any advise is also appreciated 😁
Basically I started playing the game on Xbox because I’m a brokie with no PC and just wondering if the under one rule origin was available on console
I have my game set to all crisis and the contingency is the first to start. I’m just now researching the third part merge request and I want to get the star eaters to help fight the crisis before I lay waste to it all myself. Will the other crisis still happen if I get that far into becoming the crisis?
For about the past 12 games of mine, I've found the Militant Isolationists fallen empire about 5 times and none have had Shallash.
I know the most recent dlc is toxoids but I’m wondering if the Xbox version is 3.1 or 3.2 or 3.3 or 3.4 etc
How does multiplayer work in this game? I've just installed the game, and I have a question about it. If I'm playing with a friend and they disconnect from the game but I continue to play, does their empire then get controlled by an AI? Is their empire considered inactive while they're disconnected? If they rejoin the game, will they see progress that they didn't make themselves, or will they be left where they left off?
Normally with games everything automatically saves to the cloud and pulls from the cloud but with stellaris I have to manually do it everytime I switch consoles. Does anyone know why this is?
I started playing the base game last week and I have been really enjoying it. I thought today to check out the DLCs but there are so many and it would cost so much to buy them all.
So can you give me any recommendations? Are any of them considered "must have"?
So I had a revolt brewing on my capital and when I hit the this means war button It basically killed my empire. And now I appear to be just observing the game.
It's my first time declaring it, but dont wanna lose all my federation perks and the sweet sweet 250k federation fleet. Also don't wanna crash my economy and massively increase my empire size (I'd lose civics)
I'm kinda rp as the British Empire, so GI would fit the role. I just got overlord and I'm currently 10 years away from endgame. I'll easy get victory cuz I have double the score or the 2nd highest, so don't need GI in that sence.
I feel like this should already be part of the game but why don't we have a colossus that can just steal all of the pops from a planet similarly to raiding
Hello everyone! I just got the game for PS4 through the Gane Catalog! Anyway, I have no idea what I am doing and the tutorial put way to much in my face far to quickly for me to understand. I don't usually play games like this, but am trying something new. I am hoping someone has the time an patience to teach me through a multilayer game. Again, I have no fucking clue what I am doing and need the help! Please and thank you!
Are there any ways to tell where an L gate is? I've gotten research from anomalies and researched l gate insight 2 but im not sure what all that does.
I don’t think anyone is disputing that Wednesday’s are the best day for Stellaris but I think we should organize it a bit more
Looking for teams of two (maybe more) for console games on Wednesdays (obviously). Thinking like 6-10 people to play every week, something besides fighting friends and computers every game.
Please be an average player, my friend and I aren’t that good but we figured the game out.
Put a comment with you team size and available hours and reply with gamer tags to get your group going
Hiya everyone, Anyone else here played remnant 2? I wanted to make the drzyr as an empire who will colonise the Lcluster and receed from the main galaxy, anyone have any tips about what that empire would look like in terms of civics and traits?
Cheers~ 😊
I'm on the new series S doing a 20 ai campaign (some of which have been eliminated at this point) and my game is super laggy and crashes after 5 to 10 minutes of play. It's 400 years in, should I just restart or is there a way to fix it?
I have leviathan, planetoid, synthetic Dawn and utopia I just want to know the order I should buy from 1st to buy to last to buy thanks for the help
I’m trying to play with one of my friends but each time we play it DC’s me and says Paradox online disconnected is there a fix?
My son and I are going to play this on console (I have the dlc...all of it) I usually play on pc, however.
He's only 9 so I know I'm going to have to carry him (not a problem as I enjoy playing with him)
What is a good build for carrying him. I prefer to play hive mind or machine.
